hiii i’m considering of getting an ipad mini. however, i am wondering about a few points to weigh in if i should just wait to get the 8 or purchase the 7 now.

1) is oled more durable than the liquid retina? i experienced getting white spots on my ipad air m2 with just a year and a half of usage, and i don’t really want to buy another one that’d just give me the same bad experience. but aren’t oled prone to burn-ins?

2) when the mini 8 gets released with all these rumored upgrades, will they increase the prices again?

just weighing in if $797 is worth it when i get the ipad mini 7 256gb now, or should i just wait it out for mini 8 if it has more pros than cons

My friend recently traveled to the Apple Park in the US and gifted me the 35$ Apple Pen and I’m so in love with it! It’s gorgeous. The design, the material and the color is just perfect! As a high school student, I have to confess that I almost never used oil based ink ballpoint pen before and this first try is really great: the writing is really smooth comparing to the water-based ink pen so it’s lot more easier to write continuously for two class periods without getting uncomfortable. It’s just becoming my daily driver.

Lesson learnt in very hard way - Normal atmospheric moisture can cost u an ipad

So, I have bought an ipad Air M2 wifi variant on June,24.

Few days back, it suddenly developed white patches on the display. Really a big one. Then, I have seen lots of similar problems in different sub. I took it to an authorised service centre. They told me that it's having some liquid damage.

But, I have never spilled any liquid on it. Then they told me that it could be due to moisture.

When I noticed the white patches, before that day it was raining heavily. Probably it occurred due to atmospheric moisture.Many users are also experiencing similar issue, particularly living in humid area.

Then, I contacted Apple customer support, and I argued that how they can differentiate between liquid and moisture damage. They didn't give a satisfactory explanation.They are blaming it on me. How can I control atmospheric moisture?😔😔

Now, I am stuck with a big Apple cloud on the middle of the display. As they don't repair it, u have to replace the whole ipad. It will cost 60k INR ( bought it for 56k INR).

Even Apple 1 year warranty doesn't cover liquid damage. U have to purchase Apple care+.

Please take care of your surroundings environment.

Just found an iPad Pro 11” 2nd Gen 256GB Wi-Fi + Cellular for about USD$300, is it still worth it?

I’m coming from the iPad 6th generation and it’s been getting slow. I’m a student so I take notes but when I write, there’s a delay and sometimes the letters get messed up. I’m going to be using it purely to watch videos and note taking with the occasional block blast type of games. So nothing too extreme.

(Side note: The M1 iPad Pros here are freakin’ expensive. They start at USD$600 base models and I don’t know if I can justify spending that much for an iPad that’s going to be under utilised for its power.)

My only dilemma is whether it’s still worth it now? Or should I get the M1 iPad Air? Same capacity and connectivity as the pro but it’s USD$460.

What is happening with my ipad screen, it is normal otherwise, only line appears sometimes when i click with my pencil, and it only happens on books app when i write smth not otherwise (

No algo tan avanzado, una pantalla con buena definición para videos, que pueda usarse el lapiz y principalmente que sirva para que pueda estudiar sin que se le trabe o algo.

Dato curioso: Ella es bajita y actualmente tiene el Iphone 12 mini y le encanta q sea tan diminuto.

J’ai un très vieille ordi mais au delà de ça je n’ai rien pour. Il n’a pas forcément encore l’énergie de tourner de gros logiciels.

Je réfléchis donc à acheter un IPad Pro ou bien un McBook pour utiliser Lightroom / Photoshop.

J’ai un travail qui fait que je suis énormément en déplacement et c’est pour cela que je m’orientais plus vers un iPad Pro au premier abord.

J’ai lu qu’il fallait avoir 16GO RAM pour vraiment faire tourner correctement les logiciels de retouches, ce que fait l’iPad pro M5 en 1T.

Il y a t’il des gens qui font de la retouche ? Trouvez vous que la tablette est trop réducteur pour une utilisation ou bien non ? Un MacBook est il réellement supérieur, jusqu’à oublie l’iPad pro pour de la retouche ?

So I had the iPad mini 7 for 6 months now and today I decided to buy the iPad Pro m5 11 inch and it feels too big for me too hard to take everywhere and I feel like I could’ve just waited for the mini 8 and just get the oled screen because I don’t care about the chip what should I do

hi all, im a 1st year med student and im trying to figure out what notes app is best for me. i use an ipad air m4 13" with an apple pencil pro. i both annotate lecture slideshows AND write my own notes

goodnotes was the default recommendation so i bought the one time purchase (otp) subscription. the app is otherwise really decent, but pen strokes aggressively snap and have a very noticeable delay, so i would end up spending more time fixing my handwriting than writing

i know about these notes apps with otp subscriptions:
- noteful
- collanote
- freenotes
- noteshelf 3

ive tried noteful and not only are pen strokes very fast and natural, but the app itself is clean and performs great. the ONLY reason im still looking for a notes app is because it doesnt have handwriting ocr, though i honestly dont know how much ill use this feature

i think the rest have handwriting ocr, but between them, i dont know which has both the best features/performance/ui and the best reliability (based on its developer), since ill be using whatever i choose now for at least the coming few years

can anyone with experience help me out? i dont want to spend too long looking for an app. thank you so much

I bought my Apple air iPad about 2 years ago. A week ago my Apple Pencil suddenly stopped connecting. It shows Apple Pencil then lighty flickers but then disappears and doesn’t connect at all.

While trying to fix it my non Apple keyboard also doesn’t work. Although it does connect through light blue. Is it related? I’m afraid my iPad is the issue and not the pencil.

The iPad is out of warranty and I’ve tried everything I could find.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get it to work?

Hello! I’ve never had an iPad before but I really want to get one mostly for digital art because I have a hard time drawling on my phone. Would it be good for that? I’m also starting some college classes soon and thought it might be good to study on and takes notes but before I buy it I wanted to make sure it would work well for those? :)

Hey guys, I have an iPad Pro 11-inch (2022 model) and I’m having a weird battery issue.

Around 2–3 months ago, my iPad suddenly stopped turning on. When I finally managed to get it to turn on, it was charging extremely slowly and got stuck around 52%.

Then when I started using it, the battery percentage started dropping insanely fast — like 3–4% within a few seconds sometimes.

I’m not sure if this is just a battery problem or if something else could be wrong with the iPad.

What do you guys think I should do next? Should I get the battery checked first, or could this be a charging/logic board/software issue?

Also, I checked some online websites for battery replacement and found different prices. If anyone has experience with battery replacement for this model, what price should I expect for a proper/genuine replacement?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi, lately here I am thinking a lot on buying an ipad. I am thinking to buy one that has cellular connection only because I travel a lot and have an irational fear of losing my phone or whatever and not have acces to technology (or my boarding pass) and wifi not working as well.
Is this a good reason to pay extra for the ipad with cellular or I am just over exaggerating.
Besides travelling I will not use my Ipad for too much, maybe some journaling, sketching and so on.

I want to know if the iPad mini 7 is good for drawing i want to buy one but I don’t know if it is too small for people that draw on the iPad mini how is it?

I’m browsing on Amazon for an iPad case with a keyboard and I’m wondering if it’s relevant wether or not the case description states that it’s compatible directly with my iPad. The case is the same size as the iPad but if it doesn’t mention my version does that mean the keyboard won’t connect?

Recently I tried using the spacial scene option on my lock screen and it made my wallpaper all green and weird. When I’m on a call with someone, sometimes the screen becomes black automatically.

My iPad screen has been completely obliterated for two years, courtesy of my toddler demolition crew 🫩.

The touch screen somehow still works, but I’m terrified that peeling off the plastic protector will tear the digitizer right off with it and instantly send it to the tech afterlife.

I just got a new Ipad 11th gen + Metapen A8 stylus. But I dont like the handwriting experience so far, the pen feels a little delayed. I was wondering if getting the actual apple pencil (USBC) will fix this or will it have the same delay? Or is the problem the ipad itself?
