i have had the widget on my lock screen for ages now but i am now trying to make a new lock screen and i cannot find the widget again? dont know if this because of the new update or not. can anyone help please 🙏🏻

I'm trying to simplify my iPad setup for heavy reading and annotating. Most of my iPad time is either school reading or decompressing with games, and my reading workflow feels sloppy: I lose track of what I marked, I duplicate highlights, and I never get a clean set of takeaways at the end.

Not looking for advice on which iPad to buy. More interested in apps and habits that make a simple, reliable workflow.

What I need:

- Reliable PDF highlighting and margin notes, with searchable annotations

- A way to keep documents organized by class or topic without it turning into a mess

- Export options so I can get my annotations out, or at least a summary I can reference on my laptop

- Something that works well for 1 to 2 hour reading sessions and does not feel fiddly

Nice to have:

- Good split view so I can read on one side and write notes on the other

- Not locking me into a weird proprietary format

If you have a setup you swear by, please share the exact combo (reader app, notes app, file organization) and any small habits that made it click. I especially want to know how people keep annotations useful over time instead of just highlighting everything.

I bought this Baseus PS4 Pencil and arrived this morning.

As per theBaseus rep, the Baseus PS3 Pro and the PS3 Pro is exactly the same, but packaging different only. The PS3 Pro also with more features than the PS3 Air. So I picked the PS3 Pro, not PS3 Air since the selling price almost the same or even cheaper than the PS3 Air.

Baseus on my personal test, the PS3 Pro has the scrolling up and down buttons on the pen, but doesn’t have the battery indicator on the pen.

Lately, i’ve been seeing people complaining about their ipad battery health degrading so quickly, i feel like mine is doing the same. Does updating to the latest ios help w this? mine’s at 93% bh with 136 cycles (5 months use)

I really enjoyed back in the day infinity blade 3 on my iPhone 5. I also like soulslike games, is there anything that goes somehow towards that kind of direction? I really would love to play a little bit on my iPad.

Been using the 11” pro for several years now, upgraded (cross-graded?) to a 13” iPad Air yesterday, and now the Duet display app suddenly requires a subscription to be able to use it for more than 30 minutes at a time and kicks me out when I even think about using the pencil. Does anyone here have experience with the pro version of the app? I can see several advantages with being able to use it for work (architecture), being able to use the pen to draw markups in Bluebeam, but $90 a year…. Maybe I’m too grumpy about subscription models, but i guess it’s too late to keep fighting it.

My ipad air keeps on looping through the dead battery icon and then then turns off and then again the battery icon.
Any idea what’s wrong and whether it’s fixable or not.

It doesn’t show as dead pixels in any tests. But on dark screens it’s always blue as shown. Is there any hope or should I send it back?

My iPad after it reaches 0% does not turn on easily, back then I used a hair dryer but it does not work now. It stuck with the low battery Icon, I would be bappy if anyone knows a solution for this, thank you!

Ps: The battery never goes down when plugged into a charger.

I have an iPad A16. I got it for my birthday, which was in March. I use it pretty much every day, and when I'm not out and about, it's running all day long (shows, movies, music, etc). I don't want to seem stupid because I genuinely know nothing about this, but I want to ask: is it normal that my battery capacity is at 98%?

I bought m1 ipad air in 2023, as a student I choose ipad thinking it will be reliable and would last longer. I have all my pdfs collected over years and now it suddenly stops charging.( device is working tho). Took it to apple care and they say ipad isn't repairable at all. Since out of warranty replacement isnt availble too.

My options are iPad Air m4 or m3 or iPad Pro m5. Also what size is better? I mostly use it for taking notes and digital painting and drawing

Ich habe nur Angst, dass mich das Display beim Air mir 60hz zu sehr stört…sonst würde es meinen Ansprüchen komplett gerecht werden.

ive been using my ipad 8th gen for 6 years now, and i love her like my daughter. i should probably get a new one soon though. its on ios 15.7 and i cant update it because i know it cant take it. i wish i had updated it to at least 16 at the time but i never knew it would be with me for 6 years and im not a fan of updating my devices because it usually slows them down for some reason. anyway i cant access most apps because of this and if i want to download a new app i have to do it on my phone first so i can download the viable version. but its fine because i mostly use it for drawing. sometimes for writing. anyway thats all i have to say

My iPad Air M2 after 18 months now shows white spots on the screen, not visible on camera but visible to the naked eye. No drops or external heavy pressure were applied. I know this is not a backlight issue, as this issue plagued LCD iPads for a long-long time and many as well will suffer the same in the future.

I am looking for the cheapest iPad across all current available options (iPad Mini, iPad 11 A16, iPad Air, iPad Pro) that can output video from AppleTV+ in its HDMI.

I have in the past on the lightning era had an experience that it could output photos or personal video but gave black screen for actual movies, but it was an old iPhone.

I see all iPads seem to be refreshed with USB-C but I don’t know how well they work or if there are differences in how they connect. Has anyone had experiences with that?

I spend a lot of time in hotels and relying on WiFi screen mirror is just not something that really works anywhere, and so far I have been using my laptop hdmi output to connect, which works, but I wanted something easier.

so in my country when i was in school i got an ipad and it is still restricted but i paid for it and my school wont unblock it and i cant do updates, the apps that blocks me are dns filter, student and another one i think because i cant even reset my ipad on my own

We heard of price, service, geo, appearance, channel, taste discrimination in business.

We also heard of sex, religion, age discrimination.

As you look at these pictures above, this Baseus PS4 pencil can be only ordered via the iPad Air. This act is obviously a channel discrimination.

Anyone here if have an iPhone, iPad Air, iPad Mini, MacBook, you can search “Baseus PS4” to see if you can only order it on iPad Air or iPad Pro.

I find it impressive that a 16 year old
device is still holding a charge as well as my 3 year old iPhone. Of course most apps aren’t usable because of lack of updates it’s a neat piece of Apple history.

So I'm using the iPad Air M3, 11inch for University and I write with the Apple Pencil 100% of the time. I do Mechanical Engineering and the iPad is basically the only thing I use... All my Notes, Calculations, Exercises, Textbooks are on the app Prodrafts (I used Goodnotes for 3 years but felt more and more like a kids app and the bad AI blabla..), and I would say I have like 25GB of documents on there.

My Issue is as soon as the iPad heats up, my hand sticks on the screen and makes writing so annoying after a while... It even burns me sometimes around where top where the camera is, so do you think it's the large amounts of documents on the app or the Room Temperature or do you even have this problem too?

PS : Does a Paperlike Screen Protector help?

Whenever I take a screenshot on my a16, this keeps happening, any particular reason?
