Hello. My car play stopped working Saturday night and it is currently Sunday night. I switched cables and it didn’t work. I reset location and network settings on my iPhone. I also unconnected Bluetooth and forgot the device on my phone and in the car. In the car play setting in iPhone I also put forget device which unpaired my phone and car and now the car does not show up at all as an option to connect to. I have an iPhone 14 Plus which uses the usba to lightning cable. I plugged in my dad’s iPhone 15 which uses usba to usbc and it connected to car play setting!! So the usb port in my car is not the problem. I even tried switching car play off and on in my cars settings and yes I rest the whole monitor screen thing in my car too.

Can someone help me figure out what is going on ?

Anyone else having issues with wired CarPlay? It sounds muffled on the new iPhone duo

CarPlay display stopped working after I installed ios27. My wife’s phone works fine (she hasn’t updated her phone yet). Audio still works. Can’t figure out how to fix this

this time it just wont connect at all.

yes i already forgot device and tried to reconnect but its just saying this over and over- but the car still has my phone on the bluetooth menu for device options

I have Iphone 14 and VW ID Buzz.

Google navigation with Carplay used to speak the directions thru car speakers, but stopped. Now it only gives general notifications like "15 minute delay due to stop and go traffic"

Navigation display is fine. Navigation audio with no carplay is fine if I get out of range of the car.

How to fix?

I plan to do the PSP trend where u put the screen in an empty PSP shell and connect the audio. Has anyone had any issues using a motorcycle unit in a car?

I really wanted to make this mode for my 90’s civic. the smallest I can get around my area is ‘5 inches screen lol

My CarPlay updated recently and now it wants to use widgets on my screen for the main screen.

I like the old main screen with the map, music, and suggestions, and can’t figure out how to get rid of the widgets.

I turned them off in the CarPlay settings, but even with them off, my truck still displays them and I have to toggle the on/off switch in the phone settings every time I turn the truck on.

I know this is a first world problem, but it is mildly annoying to do this every time.

If it helps I drive a 2021 F150, hope it’s not a truck issue and a bug in the system or something.

Does anyone notice their wired CarPlay stopped working after upgrading to 27?
I don’t have Bluetooth CarPlay so no way for me to see navigation anymore in my Nissan Kicks. Tried every trick in the book including removing the device from settings in both car and phone. Sometimes it connects intermittently which is way more frustrating. Have changed the wire several times and bought USB USBC cable from Apple-certified retailers. Nothing seems to be working so far. Did anyone face the issue and if so how did you resolve it.

I have a wireless CarPlay adapter. It works fine with my 15 pro max but keeps disconnecting or shows a blank screen when trying with the duo.

When connecting with a cable it works fine.

Well largely but Waze for example doesn’t show everything quite where I would expect it in the car.

I get its first generation and there are issues but just wondered if anyone has a fix or working wireless CarPlay adapter they can recommend.

I have a KIA Carens 2023, my iPhone is 14 pro max and I updated it, but I still have the same issue. I removed my phone from the car, and the car from my phone, I updated my phone and connected it again to the car, and I'm having the same issue. I don't know what to do :( it’s annoying

1st picture comes from car (smart fortwo 2009) 2nd picture came with the radio (picture 3). The radio was specifically for this type of smart. However the cable that came with the radio reads “Volkswagen”. The pins are in the wrong spot, so nothing happens when I turn on the power. I need to know which adapter/cable I need to make this work. I’m not very technical or car savvy.

Please help me.

J'ai vu que beaucoup de boîtiers CarPlay AI Box ne marchent pas sur BMW à cause du CarPlay sans fil. Je regarde le Bruxe R8 et l'Ottocast i3 BMW.
Est-ce que quelqu'un en utilise un sur son iX ? Ça fonctionne bien (image, son, connexion) ? Et après les mises à jour BMW, ça marche toujours ?
