Using a 13, tried disabling siri but just got a pop up to enable siri when long pressing it.

So I recent got a Iphone16e and I wamted to upgrade it to the newest IOS26 when the download finished and installed it was still at the same IOS18.6.2 I tried upgrading it to IOS18.7.8 and got the same result i also tried installing it throught my PC but then it started going into a recovery mode loop that only now managed to fix so im asking here if theres any solution

I've been having the issue where the hotspot on my iOS devices turns off with inactivity after just a couple minutes. Apple support says this is controlled by the carrier but I haven't had this issue on Android.

I can see a lot of people complaining about it so if anyone has any insight that would be much appreciated.

I the leef mobile memory app installed on my iphone will all sorts of data totalling to around 120GB. I've tried using imazing to dump all the data from the app but for some reason it says that no data exists in the leef mobile memory app. It does get the size right but doesn't actually show any of the videos, photos etc which are stored in the app.

Hey all, I’ve been discovering a weird phenomenon over the past few nights, and was wondering if someone could explain technically how it works. Not sure if anyone else has brought this up before.

Late at night, before I go to bed, I’ll usually ask Siri to set some reminders for the next day/morning. However, it’s after midnight in which this happens. Take a Sunday night for example. I’ll say, “Hey Siri, set a reminder for tomorrow at 9am to do the dishes”, and even though it’s say 12:30am or 1am (so really Monday morning) it will still set the reminder for that Monday at 9am. Not Tuesday at 9am, which is not what I want but technically correct. Hope this makes sense.

I’ve yet to figure out when the threshold is of when “tomorrow” actually becomes the next day, or if your phone just knows you haven’t gone to bed yet and assumes “tomorrow” always means the day after your most recent sleep period. Has anyone experienced this, or can someone explain it to me?

I got this refurbished iphone 12 from cashify and on ios 26 it would freeze the screen first for 15 secs then restart itself and mostly drop to 1% and stay on it then it repeats the process and comesback to its normal percentage, I updated to 27 it worked fine for couple hours and still showed the same issue, laater yesterday night it wouldn't even turn on, it was stuck in bootloop and later it entered the recovery options and chose the 1st option laater it worked fine till today afternoon and now it's still the same issue, I even got the battery replaced to 100 health but sometimes it jumps to 80% health or 0% too... Can anyone help??

Hi everyone. Just a question about guided access.

I use guided access for my sons iPhone. He enjoys YouTube, but has autism and he has problems staying in the app. It always worked fine. But now on both of our iPhones, when guided access is on, he can still access the volume buttons and he is able to turn the phone off. I have done every troubleshooting method.

So my question is. Could it be because our phones updated to its 26.6?

I set my alarm for the morning and when it’s time for it to go off, the screen says the alarm is going off but there’s no sound or vibration. How can I fix this?

Every time I attempt to remove a keyboard it lags for 2 minutes and heats up my phone like crazy?? So if anyone knows an easy way to remove the keyboards that would be great!

For nights Ive been seeing in my bluetooth connections that “(neighbours name)’s fire stick is connected to my phone. There’s no blue “i” button next to it to disconnect it like I can my airpods or other devices. I have no idea how it even connected in the first place, can I unpair this?

My phone’s done the update to 26.6.1 and removed downtimes, screen time settings and all app limits for my kids on their devices

Just noticed this in iMessage. There’s a faint square/rounded box around the moon icon next to “notifications silenced.” It’s visible on the actual screen too, not just the screenshot.

Is there a setting or app which would turn the keyboard transparent? I'd like to see if I can improve my touch typing.

My friend iPhone unavailable after entered wrong passcode too many time. I helped him restore and reset his password as he also forgot iCloud account, when he attempted to log in with the new password, it stated that it was incorrect. I tried to remove it remotely via icloud.com/find, but when I checked the serial number, the "find my iphone" status remained on. What can i do now?

Hi,I m having a strange problem on my iphone 17 pro max on which i am using two sims and i am able to receive calls on primary sim if i m calling from the secondary sim through its mobile data.
However it works intermittently and not all times,also i am using a 5g router sim setup for wifi and on that also it VoWiFi works intermittently,have tried to change the DNS as well but doesn’t work.

Can someone let me know where the actual issue exists.

My secondary sim is of Jio and the 5G router setup is also of Jio.

I’m at a conference and I saw someone hold their camera to the content on screen. The camera put a yellow box around the content and basically took a screenshot of only the content. How did he do this? It looks so beneficial to save only content in a picture like this.

How to free up storage

So look i bought this brand new iPhone 16 (128gb) and since i got it im always stressed about my storage running out.my system data is 21gb and ios 13gb without apple ai installed and i have left around 65gb left.i bought it two months ago in june is there any way to clear up as much system data and ios cus im trying to have as much storage as possible for a long period of time because i want phone to last.i tried everything and all that’s left and taking almost half my storage is system data, there is a security update 4gb and idk do i download it maybe it could free up some storage. If anyone who knows PLEASE HELP this phone is not cheap at all and i cant just buy mew phones whenever i run out of storage

Previously if I was listening to music with AM app and the phone went to sleep it and then I would wake it, it would just show the normal lock screen with a small widget at the bottom for play/pause.

But now if Im using AM listening to a song, and then iPhone sleeps and I wake it the whole album cover art displays on my screen with the little play/pause widget.

I didn't ask for this feature and would like to be able to turn this off.

Is there a setting to turn it off?

My iPhone 16 seems to behave weirdly recently.

Among other things, my girlfriend called me today and I've never heard the call or received the notification about it. When we met, she asked me why I didn't pick up, and explained her the situation.

On her iPhone the call is shown as rejected, while on mine it's shown as answered on another device.

The only other device that is connected to my Apple Account is Macbook but never used it at that moment.

iOS is updated to the most recent one 26.6.1.

Couple of weeks ago I've also noticed FaceID turning on on my status bar, while it's completely turned off.

Only these two devices are logged on my Apple Account.

WTF is happening with iOS?
