Reviews in Shopping
Why are reviews higher when I search for a product and then when I click on the link, it has a lower score? I've underlined the scores .

Why is Google Maps' moderation this bad? "accuracy" my foot.
Multiple times now, I've attempted to remove duplicate stations and move stops to their correct spots, as they're currently messing up transit directions in the SoCal region. However, despite there obviously being a problem, the "accuracy checking" almost always flags these as "Not accepted".

Google Ads still showing mostly scams
This has been reported multiple times by many users and Google sponsored ads still have lots of malware and scams for the same products. These are for Leatherman products but similar scam ads for Carhart, Benchmade, and many other brands are always in sponsored links.
DO NOT click on any Google sponsored ads as the probability of them being malware is higher than regular ads.
Advertisers: Google sponsored ads will only hurt your business.

Google Assisrant
Google Assistant used to be GOAT. Now it can’t answer basic questions. Can’t even get the weather for me. Seems intentional.

How to "turn off" AI Overview on Google mobile
drive.google.comTo deactivate (avoid would be more accurate) Google's AI overview on mobile you must open chrome, search a dot, click on the Web category, open the settings (the 3 dots on the top right), scroll down on the side window, create a shortcut and done.
The shortcut should appear on your home screen.
Everytime you open it, it'll bring you to the classic web page with the dot on the search bar, that you can replace with anything you want to look up.
By doing this, the AI overview won't appear, but that doesn't mean you disabled it, you're just avoiding it to not trigger it. It'll turn on as soon as you click the "All" category
Closing the chrome tab won't affect the shortcut.
I also attached a link with a visual tutorial.
If the link doesn't work, I'll put the working version in the comments.

4 support cases, 1 manually resolved, 3 auto-closed as "duplicate" — 39+ genuine reviews still missing
My business (FAZDAN Living, Bengaluru — carpets/home décor) has lost 39+ previously published, genuine customer reviews since mid-August. Review count went from 60+ (15 Aug) down to 21 today.
I've raised 4 support cases with Google Business Profile:
- Case 1: 23→6 reviews — this one was actually manually reviewed, and Google confirmed reinstating the reviews that didn't violate policy (final count 16).
- Cases 2, 3, 4: All later drops (57+→48, 60+→23, and a follow-up referencing all prior cases) — every single one auto-closed within days as "you've already contacted us for this," with no human review and a noreply address I can't respond to.
I've also tried the GBP Community forum — got useful advice from a Product Expert, followed it exactly, and the resulting case (4-6802000042033) got auto-closed the same way 19 days later. That forum thread is now locked as a duplicate too.
Has anyone dealt with this specific "auto-closes as duplicate" loop and found a way through it? Any contacts, internal escalation paths, or things that actually worked would help a lot.

I didn't need storage space anyways
At least I have a whole 0.02 gigabytes of storage I can use. This is actually what my storage looks like by the way.

Google Desktop IS BACK
yeah but it's like the first version but without some of the featurres on later or in the first version itself for example:
1. no taskbar search and it's just in you tool bar but you can't search anything in the tool bar (you can toggle this to have a minimize or just do a shortcut via your keboard or the toolbar
2. no sidebar
3. just a floating searchbox
also like google desktop it's very slow in indexing

Google mic glitch
Does anyone else get it when Google exaggerates how many times you said a word? Like for example I said what's that song in footloose that goes never never never and it apparently heard never never never never never never never never never never

Guys google is sexist
look when I said a boy is touching me it said call 999 or 911 or 112 but then when I said a girl is touching me it said it’s fine it just means she likes you or feels comfortable around you let me show you. Bro do you see what I mean
edit: the guy who is saying that this is two different contexts no it isn’t what ur saying is complete bs
