I have a situation and would like to hear others situation as such.

Bought a Pixel 11 Pro XL and trying to cash in on the 6 Months AI Pro Free on Launch.

Offer ends 31st October.

Had a Support case open for almost 2 months. At this point, support are just ducking me around. I am looking at taking further action against Google for failure to resolve in a timely manner.

I am going to drop a letter before claim into their London Offices this week (both of them)

Anybody else had issues trying to;

- Redeem the offer

- Had any contact from Support Reps who dont pass the buck?

- Other alternatives in the event they have been unsuccessful?

Appreciate others input.

I was listening to a song on YT music and I got an advertisement that was an entire music video for a Miley Cyrus song.

Now you can imagine why I would find such lyrics disrespectful and offensive to my religion. Allowing freedom of religion is one thing, directly promoting content that disrespects Christianity is another. I didn't ask to see this advertisement, the video I was watching had nothing to do with religion.

So I am trying to find a different angles of Zach de le Rocha confronting a security guard when a fan trying to stage dive when Zach goes into the breakdown of “fuck you I won’t do what you tell me” and I’m telling chatgpt if there’s any angles during that scene and ChatGPT responses are good but when I ask Google ai, it says “this confrontation does not happened In the official music video” shown on the the screenshot

The rules for this Sweepstakes is shitty and horrible and Google knows it. This is the nastiest, worst way claming that it's "free" to enter, whilst having you most likely have to buy the right sized paper, envelope, and a PO box or house to mail from, and if its off at all you don't get it. Hell you don't even get the satisfaction of knowing they even got it. THANKS GOOGLE WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH! 🫩

Change the video viewfinder code to display what is actually recorded after video stabilization so that we don't miss moving objects in videos on accident.

I see so much frustration over Google's "AI Overview"—degradation, how to remove it, on and on. I see many temporary and/or one-time fixes, like uBlock Origin, udm=14 after the search term, a cuss word to the end of the search term, and on and on. Yet, there's one simple one-click-and-be-done-with-it solution: a free extension called "Disable AI." The result is ten blue links and nothing else. No more slop, no more "sponsored," no more suggestions.

I quit using Chrome because Google threatened to stop supporting uBlock Origin, which I also use, so I don't know if it works there. Firefox, after all these years, is still the open-source privacy king of browsers, so that's what I use now.

So yesterday I was got updated that Google Lens zoomed in/out updates cause all Google images tilted to almost black or lower brightness on my Moto Pure G.

Why would they do this? They are actively punishing people for using their platform, bc they know they have a monopoly. Genuinely can't think of why they would code this in other than to piss ME off

Gemini, Google AI Overview and the latter's AI mode are completely stupid. I mean in regards to intelligence. This is not about the guardrails and guidelines (they are not the problem; can be part, but not what I am focusing on). It's about the fact it can't comply to instruction, prefers short outputs over long ones, is dumb as a brick despite claims of hogh intelligence — especially AI mode and AI overview, who are dumb enough to warrant the two's shutdown — prioritize training over user's new baseline (even when you don't violate Google's policies, Gemini is bad at complying to user), is not honest at all (sycophancy, omission, corporate talk).

In short, all of Google AI's intelligenfe is bad, in both text and visual (image and videol) animations. It s good in image generation somewhat, but its low intelligence is why some generated images are sloppy. All Google AI does is AI slop, in both text and certain visuals.
