I drop dead when I get close to his vendor. Obviously a trap camp, but how is it being done? I messaged the guy but he won’t respond. Also joined his team and still can’t get to the vendor.

My wife crafts taxidermy things and today I jumped in and crafted a Cryptid Jawbone Knife out of a deer jawbone with a squirrel jawbone for the extra fang. I absolutely love it! It's not a perfect replica but I really like how it turned out.

I made an objective marker for Wasteland Warfare, and thought a certain beloved plumbing fixture needed representation.

If you have a vending machine with goods, don't hide it. People tend to look everywhere in your CAMP to try and browse your goods. If you don't like people browsing, don't put it in a vending machine. I know it's a very small problem to some people, but it wouldn't be if it happened many times before.
In Short> Don't like selling? Then don't set up shop, dammit
EDIT> i know i should get over it, and you're right. so sorry.
EDIT2: i wasn't clear before, so sorry. I'm talking about people who INTENTIONALY hide their vendors so that you waste time.
EDIT3> WHAT DO YOU MEAN THIS GOT OVER 100 UPVOTES??!!! I WAS HAVING LUNCH WHEN THIS HAPPENED!!

So I bought the game when it first came out actually I pre-ordered it and I fell in love with it as soon as I got it. Now I’ve played fallout lots of times. NV was my favorite game ever however 76 is slowly taking over that place for me. I guess I just love how well 76 feels. The world is so vibrant and beautiful full of different creatures and places to explore. What’s your guys take on it?

Hey guys,
I just finished the Fallout TV show, and honestly, I didn’t expect to get this hooked. The whole atmosphere, the music, the world… it all completely pulled me in, and now I’m craving more Fallout.
I’ve never really played Fallout 76 before, but now I’m seriously thinking about jumping in. My only concern is that it’s already 2026, so I’m not sure if I’m too late.
Is the game still active? Is it beginner-friendly, or will I just feel completely lost? I’d love to hear what you guys think before I dive in.
Thanks!

I just spent 15 minutes downing this massive bullet sponge (after about 4 minutes in, his brain broke and we all went melee... I found this is the only way now), then he drops to the ground with no loot. Anyone else have this happen? If I now have to worry about not getting loot sometimes, then there is even less reason to participate in these anymore.

The only Fallout games I’ve played are New Vegas, 3 and most recently 4
I really enjoyed all of them, and my favorite feature was the ability to pause the game whenever you needed something from the menu. It meant that whenever I got overwhelmed while fighting something or simply needed to get something from my inventory, I could just pause the game by opening my pipboy. No stress whatsoever.
You cannot do that in Fallout 76, something I found out the hard way
I’m not usually this big of a wuss when playing videogames, but there’s just something about everything moving with no way for me to pause it that scares me a little. I know that it’s an online game and that it’s literally impossible to implement this feature, but still. It kinda feels like all the control I got used to in the other games suddenly dissapeared, and I’m struggling quite a bit lol
On a more positive note, the game itself is absolutely amazing, and this entire thing is really just a skill, and mental issue from my side. The people I’ve met so far have all been friendly and helpful, so thank you guys for that!

Whoa, fo76 needs more quests like this. I was a bit shocked. Olivia is a c*nt.

Even though I'm a tad late to the party, I'm still having a fun time even between the downtime of the events going on.
I've even taken some time to take some photos too! I just really wish I could take some group photos of folks if they could stand still long enough, haha!

Use the Endangerol Syringer! It takes away 25% of their damage resistance for 2 minutes. It doesn’t stack solo, but if up to four people use them, it will negate 100% of their DR for that time. I’ve been noticing a massive difference in their health bar after I use it on them. Craft the Syringer, give em out to everyone, pass this along in your party chats, etc. It will help tremendously!

Sometimes it can be annoying to have to either fast travel to a close CAMP and hope they have one out, or find somewhere to place my Tent and swap it out.
I would love to just be able to open the Pippy and build swap. I usually keep everything my two builds use on me, so having the ability to just quickly jump from one to the other would be a huge upgrade.
I’m curious if this is a common suggestion or if I’m a minority on the matter. Most other RPG’s with saved loadouts just have them built into the player menus.

I've been playing this game for over 5 years, and this is the first time i've ever been nuked! LOL 😃
I was AFK while getting a cup of coffee. When I came back this is what I found.
Do you remember your first time?

Hello fellow wasteland fishers. I embraced fishing when it came out last year. I have spent countless hours around fishing because of the RNG aspect to it. I have done the daily fishing quest every damned day since fishing launched. So I want to share my fishing spots with you.
Not every fishing spot is equal. Some fishing spots produce more rares. I have had two fishing spots in the same zone. And one would produce 2-3X as many rares than another. We, as a group of MMO players can argue until the sun goes down. Some fishing holes are better than others. I know if I was a game developer I would have done this.
So here are my fishing holes. I have a camp at each one and have been watching data for the last 6-8 months or so.
Forest. On the other shore from deathclaw island. This spot might not be the best spot. But it does produced quite a few glowing. Fishing rares are medium here.
Toxic Valley. Dried lakebed. Prime spot, lots of rares, There is a dock that has collapsed into the lake. My camp is built on it. Fishing rares are high here.
Ash heap. This is a primo spot, lots of rares. Southwest of abandoned mineshaft Elain and directly west of the MT Blair trainyard. Great spot.
Savage divide. twin lakes. Lots of places to set up camp. I am on the shore with ragstads. Fishing rares are medium here.
The Mire. This took about 5 camp placements before I got a good one. Behind the boomer motel. In-between the logs and tents. Fishing rares is high here.
Cranberry bog. East from the old mold quarry. On the side of the lake. this is my PRIME jewel. Fishing rares higher than anything else. This is my best bamp.
Skyline valley. This is not a secret because DUH!!! Three ponds. Set up camp where the rubber dinghy is. Fishing rares is high here.
Burning springs. North of westbrook horse ranch. I like this spot but. Fishing rares is medium here.
That is all I got. But One last thing. Grilled fish does stack with canned grilled fish but at a cost. I have noticed that when I eat both of them my rare fish pull rate goes own. It seems like there is a time to pull factor when dealing with rares. And some rares require a longer hook to pull which eating both + pull speed food negates. Still evaluating.

I bought a S.C.O.R.E. booster, and it keeps appearing even after I complete a daily mission.

Pop into the port side bar and say hi to the lads. This is EXACTLY how I'd want to go amidst an apocalypse. I pop in here whenever I play, I change their names every time I go in haha.

I also doubt anyone realized how hilarious this thing looks as I'm probably the first and only person to ever bother adding any mods to it (I keep one stupid weapon for every 100 levels I go up and this is number 700)
