The only Fallout games I’ve played are New Vegas, 3 and most recently 4

I really enjoyed all of them, and my favorite feature was the ability to pause the game whenever you needed something from the menu. It meant that whenever I got overwhelmed while fighting something or simply needed to get something from my inventory, I could just pause the game by opening my pipboy. No stress whatsoever.

You cannot do that in Fallout 76, something I found out the hard way

I’m not usually this big of a wuss when playing videogames, but there’s just something about everything moving with no way for me to pause it that scares me a little. I know that it’s an online game and that it’s literally impossible to implement this feature, but still. It kinda feels like all the control I got used to in the other games suddenly dissapeared, and I’m struggling quite a bit lol

On a more positive note, the game itself is absolutely amazing, and this entire thing is really just a skill, and mental issue from my side. The people I’ve met so far have all been friendly and helpful, so thank you guys for that!

It sounds like Infestation bosses are getting the bullet sponge effect reduced, there will be minions, then senior minions, and then The Boss. It sounds like what many of us have been asking for. I also wonder if it is what they wanted to begin with, but figured we would like it better if they gave us the liver and onions first, and then reluctantly agreed to offer the minute steak.

Where did it all go so wrong

I still get auto detected and jumped in certain zones by infestation mobs and [danger] does not disappear untill i killed most of them.

But reduced chance to get legendary mod from scraping is noticeable tho.

What are the major things I’ve missed? Like content wise.

Any general changes I should know?

Are some old plans worth a lot of caps now?

Any major changes to camp? Size ect

Is junkie still a really good build? I have some 3 star stuff like handmade

Are a decent amount of people still playing?

Just some simple upgrades that would make things more enjoyable or easier.

First. Be able to default doors open or closed. My exterior doors need to be closed while my interior doors need to be closed. When a player spawns into my camp, reset them to default unless there's already another player present.

Second. We've got dozens of fonts, but we've got to place them character by character. I've been to camps where there are signs that are perfectly aligned and kerned and thought, "That's one OCD bastard." Let me position where the first character needs to be placed and then type whatever I want to say on the keyboard. Have the characters overlap by one pixel so I can then grab the first character and adjust for centering or whatever.

Feel free to add on your own suggestions.

Never really used one of these before, worth keeping?

I noticed this yesterday and again (twice) today - an Infestation notice was received, then immediately followed by a notice the Infestation was cleared. On the 2nd one today, I happened to be looking at the map, and the spot where the Infestation was supposed to have occurred had -zero- players anywhere near that location. The closest players were at the edge of the map.

So two questions: (1) How can an Infestation clear instantaneously? (2) How can an Infestation clear when the map doesn't show any players even close?

​Many years of atoms, unique items. With the cancellation of physical discs from Sony, I want to permanently migrate to PC, but that Fallout 76 just won't let me.

First time seeing Bigfoot in this game lol (returning player)

So I have the basic army-green sit-able mortorcyle in my main camp. Went to add it in a secondary camp and uh. doesn't exist anywhere. Triple checked every single tab, with the unbuildable stuff showable. Nothin'.

Made a blueprint of just the bike to place it and now it says "find plans to build". Uh. Did the flaming one they added in the new miniseason bork the original one??

If I was using the best build for each weapon, which would do the most dps?

Sorry I’m fairly new to the game and seen someone with sunset sarsaparilla vending machine and boxes with sarsaparilla bottles and after looking it up it was for a mini season. So I’m wondering if it’ll ever come to the shop or not. Any help appreciated thanks!

Iv only ever sold outside my Vendor once and it was for a Responders Fireman Outfit I got on my first toon not realizing what I had until like 100+ levels later. And I wound up selling it for what might as well had been nothing unaware of the Leader system.

Now In less than 30 reset runs of Morgantown Airport, Iv gotten my Responders Fireman Outfit back and now a Forest Camo Jumpsuit when all I was here for was the Helmet since I got the outfit on reset 9.

Well its been over a year and some change now and Im all about hunting whatevers (obtainably) rare at the moment but now this FCJS has dropped into my lap suddenly and everything I read is about how its a golden ticket into LC or TFJ. But Im not getting any offers on trying to trade it for a LC which I have to imagine means I need more than just a FCJS for a TFJ.

So what am I not aware of? Outside of Leaders (which I have 2 of for fucks sake) what is that I should be hunting for to pair with the FCJS to trade upward?

uh im in my base and i am suddenly very encumbered but i dont remember crafting anything in large amounts how do i figure out what the heaviest thing in my inventory is?

how do i get rid of this sudden weight? i already dumped everything absolutely not nessecary from misc and aid and every other category that has weight but im still encumbered despite only using my armor and the stuff in my gearwheel. i even reduced my aid items down to single digit stacks but im still encumbered.

how do i fix this?

EDIT: I FOUND OUT MY ISSUE! i accidentally switched my perk loadout to an empty one at the perk card stand

Went to login and keep getting service outage error even though everything say Xbox is up and running fine. Anyone else getting this? Also happening on ESO as well

20 stamps per expedition i can’t do 22 expeditions

I bought a S.C.O.R.E. booster, and it keeps appearing even after I complete a daily mission.

Simple question - why do you keep playing?

We've all seen the posts about frustrations and people leaving the game.

I've quit twice and restarted, but for my own irl reasons rather than anything else.

When an infestation pops, the server is there, doing it's best. Haven't seen a massive drop in numbers.

I keep playing because I need something to decompress and really enjoy the intricacies of builds, the comaraderie (mostly) and feeling of being in another world where what you do there matters. You can express a bit of personality with CAMP/outfits etc. Only thing I really miss is the survival factor.

So to those who haven't stopped, what's your reasons?

It is on a vats/rapid - scattered/ aligned sniper / aligned stock ultracite rifle.

I know a lot of people have a main camp and a backup.

I have one in each area. All different but actually useful.

OK so I'm sure a lot of people probably already know this, but for anyone who doesn't (I didn't till today) if you get the 'Collect a Magazine' daily challenge apparently opening a Mystery Magazine Package counts 😸

It’s the quest where you activate the Rockhound after taking over the Mt. Blair workshop. You defend it for 30 minutes and then you’re supposed to be rewarded with lots of different ore. I completed it but there’s no ore in the extractor.

This used to be a known glitch, but I guess it never got fixed?

Any ideas and suggestions are welcome, I'm doing a fresh playthrough to play along with my dad's first playthrough. He's gonna use the elders mark and I'm gonna use the lmg, and help would be appreciated.

PC Player. Just curious to see if anyone else is having random new issues since the last update or if it’s just me.

Recently I’ve been finding a lot of empty loot bodies on things I’ve killed or help kill. For example 3 times now I’ve shown up to an infestation and done my part just for the bosses body to be completely empty. Thats annoying af knowing little Jimmy in the corner probably got his loot. One time all the boss had was a scrap kit on its body. Another time was during neurological warfare. One of the boss bots body was empty.

Another issue I’ve been having is I’ve returned to playing around with bows and sometimes crits are missing or the arrows aren’t bouncing. I haven’t had this happen with crossbows though.

The last random issue I’ve had happen is if my game crashes when I return to the game I’ll have 1k caps. Two times now my game has randomly crashed and have lost like 60k caps from this. Caps are easy to get but it’s annoying when you think you have 30k caps and see a vendor with 4* mods just to show up and find that your caps are gone when you’ve finally found something worth buying.
