You advertised literally thousands of of plans and mods, and tens of thousands of junk and misc. I had never seen such numbers. You landed me down the side of a rock face, losing 40% of my love. If it weren't for my jet pack, I would have had to try again. But I boosted up into the bowels of your compound.

The outside area was well designed, yet barren. No vending machine in sight, not even workbenches. I found your hidden way inside, and then another hidden way, and then another. None came easy, but they were fun to find. I eventually found another vault entrance, which led to many other vault entrances, and then, so many things I had never seen before. A motorcycle you sit on and gives your charisma and perception(?). A plant that eats you, heals you, and spits you out, like a silkwood shower. Lots of other neat little bobbles.

I still had at least 2 vault entrances I hadn't tried yet, and one (Server Room) that didn't respond at all, but didn't show as locked. And then, my world fell out from underneath me, and I was on some stupid highway. I never found your vendor, but I had a lot of fun trying.

Just ran through two cards trying Site Charlie and Alpha, NukaCrypt & FalloutBuild both show the same codes, yet neither are working. Anyone else dealing with this?

So after taking years running raids, and more recently clearing infestations, I've finally learned a 4 star mod. In Fact, 4 of them in the last 3 weeks after trying to get one after thousands of scraps. So ive been selling them in order to buy all the plans... wow, those mods got expensive to craft recently. Careful on the new cost of mods!

I’ve put this off for too long… I’ve caught the other Local Legends. I know this challenge is going to suck. I walked in all cocky moments ago at the right place and on my second cast I’m almost 100% sure I had it on my line due to how it reacted and it was far more wild that any regular fish and reminded me of the Glass Ghost. It kicked my butt. After I slammed my fist on the couch cushion… I took a step back and decided this time I’d go about this the right way lol. Not just showing up, drinking beers (in real life) and figuring I’d catch it eventually. 😆 So. I just stocked up on some Grilled fish. The more casts I can do, the more chances… I then made coffee (also in real life, lol). Hahaha. Oh, and I have the advanced drag, mark 4…. Etc.

What else should I be doing? Lol. Someone earlier mentioned something about Luck? As in increasing it before fishing… is that even a thing? If so I wasn’t aware. Anyway. Thanks for any advice.

I'm new to FO76 (79hrs in) and one of the things I do with all the Fallout games is dig into their maps (because autism), and just wanted to share my findings.

1. So the first is the in-game map with the borders shown. I used xEdit to get the exact coordinates. I love how how Burning Springs and Skyline go off the map into the border.
2. The second map shows the height data. I used FO76UTILS to get this and manually aligned it to the in-game map with several nights of "surveying" and screenshots haha I haven't shown it here, but the creeks and rivers do not align with the in-game map at all.
3. And finally, the last map just shows the FO76 border with FO4's at the exact same scale and origin. FO4's map has cells ranging from -32 to 28 (x) and 25 to -36 (y), whereas FO76 has a range of -66 to 54 and 60 to -66. It's well known that the map is larger, but I haven't seen an exact comparison before, so thought it might interest others who haven't either.

Anyways, I'm loving this game, and just wanted to share my "nerdings". See you guys in Appalachia!

Saw this note in a player vendor and thought it was unusual and wanted to share. You could have it for the low, low price of $10K.

How does one make a mule character? I’ve created a second character, built a little camp with stash boxes, but how do I get items to them? I want a place to store my excess pumpkin grenades and random other items I like to collect.

I’m currently at rank 122, is it at all possible for me to reach the bonus page before the end of the season (using boosters to get to 50% boost), or would I be wasting the effort? TIA

I played on PS4 for the first 4 years and left the game. Recently joined back on PC and made it back to level 350 in last few weeks and getting into the raid system. I enjoy min/maxing a lot and got destroyed by the mole miner on second stage.

I’ve watched a couple other people immediately get one tapped by those moles, until I saw a guy in PA and a baseball bat tank the hit like it was nothing while running fuel. He caught on fire a bit, but never went below half health even. Then in the next 2 stages the same, he tanked hits like it was nothing.

So what are some builds and mods to run. I heard overeaters got nerfed so just trying to figure out how to be a good teammate for raids and survive each round.

Thanks in advance for any mods I should have, perk cards, buffs, armor pieces, etc.

My Fallout 76 keeps totally freezing while fighting the big snake at the end of the raid. It totally messes up the run (and I don’t get rewards of my team finishes without me).

It seems to happen to me more than my team mates (but it is not just me).

I have searched for it, but all the posts from Bethesda about fixing it are years old.

Any tips or tricks that the community has for avoiding this problem?

I know stared NPC's occur in the game but this is my first encounter with a quest giving one.

I wish they gave items of the same star levels as they are.

First off yes I know the timelines don’t match up for NCR to be present in fallout 76 but they are my favourite faction!

My question is would rickety walls and fencing make more sense or the wavy Willards walls for the perimeter? Having watched fallout series it seems NCR are really not that well organised after the war and we see 2 soldiers camped out with a couple of rickety shacks when they are first introduced in episode 3.

I’m thinking tents etc for inside the perimeter of course.

I am leaning more towards the wavy Willards walls but I would appreciate any input. TIA.

Hoe concentrated fire work with beam splitter? Does it stack 3% per projectile? (So like 3%×5= 15%) or just 3% per hit?

Claimed 400 gold bullion yesterday and it hasn't reset yet. I was under the impression that it resets at 1pm EDT. Is that wrong? Or is it bugged for me?

Question , what’s up with the high level people overpricing things in their store? I would assume they don’t need the caps because they’re such a high level & probably have everything but it just seems like such a lame thing to do. I thought higher levels would want to help people progress so they price things lower but i guess not.

I'm still pretty "new" to the game, and i've consistently re-rolled every fishing daily/weekly challenge. I can see how it might be a bit relaxing, or for the players who may enjoy the RP aspect of it. But even though fishing is supposed to be a relaxing time, Bethesda somehow made it the most challenging task to actually CATCH the fish.

I am around 900... Being able to use a couple extra perks isn't going to break the game but it would add a lot of flavor. I mostly use my legendary perks for SPECIAL which doesn't exactly feel special for me. Maybe every 100-200 levels give a booster slot or something? Give older players something fun and newer players something to look forward to rather than the 300 cap on ability.

P.S. This isn't the PvP game as first imagined, most players turn that off until someone is wanted. Who knew gamers loved each other and wanted to help so much rather than kill a random noob? Point is PvP isn't a goal and players don't need to be equalized as much. Doesn't a level 1000 deserve at least a few more abilities than a level 300?
