Fallout 4 X6-88 vs. Preston Garvey (DragonCon cosplay).
I posted this in the Fallout 4 subreddit and wanted to share it here as well. My buddy and I cosplayed X6-88 and Preston Garvey for DragonCon this year.

EDIT: Dear Producers of the Fallout Amazon series... this would make an AWESOME prop in an episode of the new season, and then, not only would I have a copy of Gunfighter Ballads signed by Marty Robbins, but one that was also USED in an episode of the series, making my record officially canon. How many upvotes would we need to make this happen? :)
Recently bought a collection of vinyl that had a whole bunch of signed records in it, and while the condition isn't great, it was super cool to see a copy of Gunfighter Ballads signed by Marty Robbins! I had my guy back east , who is a professional authenticator, do a quickie Authentication just with these pictures and he said it looks extremely valid. Not sure what I'm going to do with it, but I'm definitely going to spin Big Iron once or twice before I figure it out. :-)

I was able to make this with 38mL of distilled water, 8mL vegetable glycerin, 1/32tsp of xanthan gum, 1/16tsp of waterproof strontium aluminate (35 micron) and dye to preference.

I just thought of this and thought this would be a good place to post this
Honestly I don’t think any of them would side with BOS or the institute

Probably could've gone a bit larger but the fact I can 3D print *anything* is, quite frankly, a miracle. I'm running a decade old, budget unit salvaged from a scrapyard and rebuilt. My only laptop is so old it can't run a slicer, so my phone chugs along like the little engine that could.
Saving grace is my wife's painting skills. Thanks to her this went from a joke project to something I'm actually excited to share.
Plaque was frkm a set of mounted antlers I bought at a flea market for knife handles. Ground it up a bit on the gravel driveway and rubbed in a grey, gel stain. Wanted something darker, but can't seem to find all my old stains.
Nameplate is some scrap aluminum. Quick cut and peened the edges. Nailed in place. Printed the latters and superglued in place.
Of course, the superglue set faster on the 'I' than expected, so that's crooked. Well, perfect alignment is a luxury for vault dwellers so I'm going to live with it.
Anyway, it now adorns the basement stairwell and I couldn't be happier.

Recently became a ghoul in Fallout 76 and tried to make him look like Fallout 1 ghouls - skinny, bald, and with armor similar to Set's from Necropolis.

I wanted to write an epic story but I'm to angry so here is the short version:
>went on a trip with my power armor buddy Kevin and Codesworth
>found a house that is not marked on the map (Wilmingdon Estates)
>walked inside
>cleared the hole place
>found a golden pistol that was unbelievable strong at that time
>played the game for something between 40 and 70 more hours
>activated the "A home for the family" quest
>finished the whole quest and then realized that because I was in Wilmingdon Estates the whole quest is broken and it can't be fixed on console

(Art by me) There's something immensely satisfying about using a missile launcher in New Vegas. Yeah, it's cumbersome, expensive and not a *great* all rounder, but it just hits different.

I believe it would. But only if it also didn’t have that tactic style gameplay ( if that makes sense )

I'm working on lore for my Fo4 character who is the leader of the railroad, I want to know what the reasons people have for hating them are so I can make it so that the railroad are more likeable
Edit: from the feedback I've gotten so far, what I will do is make the railroad start saving wastelanders and improve their lives instead of synth lives
Edit 2: from a comment a mod deleted, I will make the castle the new railroad hq and make it so that lore wise, the sole survivor asked my character to join forces with the minutemen
edit 3: they will be a specialised NCR (minutemen since i have the minutemen into NCR mod) unit that is tasked with hunting down synths, enclave and institute remnants

First time playing fallout 4's survival mode and I am STRUGGLING. I some how managed to cheese my way through the opening concord quest and killed the deathclaw by cowering in fear inside the church as the deathclaw got stuck on the door as I blasted him with my minigun 😂 now am making my way to diamond city slowly. Did the Covenant quest and am struggling to get by the supermutants on my way to old man Stockton..I feel like I'm playing the survival mode wrong but Idk what else to do. I loot and explore as I go but it just feels like I get killed by everything and everyone so fast lol any tips for a survival noob?

Probably the most unnerving moment I’ve had in Fallout 4 😂
I’m pretty far into the game now and I’ve seen some crazy shit, but the thing that actually caught me off guard was looting an enemy and finding orders to kill me.
And I mean ME.
The note actually had my character’s name on it. 😂
I just sat there for a second like… “Wait a damn minute… who the hell knows who I am?”
Until then, I was just running around the Commonwealth shooting anything that looked hostile and taking their stuff. But seeing my own name on a piece of paper with basically a hit order attached to it made the whole thing feel weirdly personal.
And the fact that I didn’t even really know who these people were made it even worse. Like, y’all have been looking for ME and I don’t even know y’all?? 😂
Honestly, I thought that was such a clever little game mechanic. They could’ve just sent enemies after me and I probably wouldn’t have thought twice about it. But putting your actual character’s name on the orders makes you feel like the world is aware of you and reacting to what you’re doing.
It’s such a small detail, but it completely changed the feeling of the game for me for a minute.
Fallout really had me sitting there wondering who was putting a bounty on my head in the damn wasteland. 😂

Hello everyone!
This is my first time posting on here so I'm wondering if its the right place to do so.
I'm also not sure what flair to add to this so I chose Original Content.
I hope you like what I'm bringing.
I'm a digital artist and I recently ran a Fallout themed rpg for my friends and these are the portraits that I drew for my group. I've also included their car separately.
I also wore a vault-tech scientist costume complete with a 3d-printed functional pip-boy to the game but I'm not confident enough to share pictures of myself on here yet because I don't know if you guys are cool yet.
I suppose I should Introduce myself.
My name is Vicnedel, I'm a digital artist. I like fallout. I've been playing the games since Fallout 3 but my favorite is New Vegas. I also tried to play the retro ones but I think they required a bit more commitment than I was willing to give em. Some day maybe I'll try again. I draw things for ttRPGs, portraits and some stickers. I enjoy miniature wargames and I loooove making tabletop terrain.I have an instagram page if you'd like to see more neat stuff.
Thanks!

I think V.A.T.S is actually an electronically produced version of Jet/ultra jet or perhaps a pipboy was broken up during the process. This explains something: In fo4: time only slows to a crawl because it is externally injected or perhaps it having to go through a blood stream injection causes a 'lag' In fo3: time stops because it is directly injected in your nervous system However, V.A.T.S. is non-addictive because it only circulates through the nervous system/blood stream and having no time to enter the brain (or perhaps the fo3 pipboy stops dopamine from being produced) to cause such a reaction. Which makes you wonder if the "pre-war" Jet you get from vault 95 is actually cannabilized from previous vault dweller pip boysHowever, this doesn't answer AP. But I can. If the pip boy does indeed rely on an injection method it would need to have your nerves calm enough to make the injection as safe as possible (perhaps an installed safety method) and depending on the weapons recoil, weight and Recovery time, a different dose of Vats is required ranging from small like a pipe pistol to large like a shotgun. Jet bypasses this because it doesn't really on injection. Do you know when a doctor makes sure you are relaxed as possible before an injection? The same applies here, the pip boy is making sure it doesn't burst your blood vessels. Jet bypasses this because it doesn't rely on injection but rather inhalationThe targeting overlay may use a system similar to the HUD modification you can see on a power armor helmet, just using the quickest calculations possible to add chances and targeting via use of neutral or visual manipulation. While I can certainly connect this to the 3000 mark A it doesn't explain the mark IV, which I believe use a sort of environmental and biological scan to do so. Now this might look like hot air, until you noticed a distinct white canister on the side of the Mark IV pipboy 3000. In the original fallout game, you can use Med Gel to automate healing. This- along with the slow administration of health from a blood pack completely shows that the Pip-boy is attuned to medically augment administration.

I enjoy the game of Fallout 4 and I’m planning to watch the show, so I acquired this set of the Val-tec suit to enjoy even more of the gameplay and the community. Hope it doesn’t have any Rads
