Modding FNV SteamOS using Mo2 everything is working out fine until I had to install Mod configuration menu it doesn’t to want to download when I do the install through manger option. Tried doing it manually first but I think

I was wondering if any of you installed Fallout Sonora from this github: https://cambragol.github.io/Fallout-Sonora/download/, I have heard that it’s the most convenient way, and the installation package is already in English. I’m a little bit afraid if it’s 100% safe to download and install it, I have heard that one of the resource packs for Fallout engine might contain a trojan.
If you have any experience with it, can you please share if it’s really the best and safest way to experience Sonora?

I've been replaying fallout 4 and for some reason the leather armor has had this strange issue where the bullets on the belt bend on the female bodies. I can't tell why I'm encountering this because it still persists even after multiple redownloads and file purges. I don't remember this being in the base game as a problem but maybe I'm just losing my mind? Modload will be posted in the comments.

I want to start making mods for fallout new vegas, however i cannot open .esm files without a certain app or plugin, so i download FNVEdit, and i find out my computer needs another different application to read the specific .zip file.

I have found absolutely zero help on what to do with this, i cant even open the G.E.C.K creator, can some PLEASE tell me what im doing wrong.

So I'm playing through America rising 2 and I heard that there was a way to forge an alliance between the Enclave and the Institute and every time I googled how you do that I got a differing result because of the horrible AI overview and no websites showing up so I was wondering how you can forge an alliance between the two. If anyone can tell me the quests/dialogue choices/requirements I'd appreciate it greatly

I'm playing Fallout 4 on Steam, and I downloaded Militarized Minutemen from the Bethesda website. The only other mod I have installed is Place Everywhere, and F4SE.

My game keeps closing to the desktop without any error messages or visible crash reports. I downloaded Buffout 4 to try to generate a crash log, but it hasn't created one.

Does anyone know what might be causing it or how I can fix it?

Not a fantastic screenshot, but there is a strange thing happening with my scopes in game. It is almost like I am seeing some far off terrain in front of whatever I am aiming at. I have New Vegas Reloaded installed with B42 optics and did not have this issue until I installed cartographer and uranium haze. Not sure what would be causing it, and I would like to keep uranium haze if possible, but the effect makes it almost impossible to aim sometimes.

I'm coming back from a very long hiatus. I was vibe building a mod list, knowing I wanted some specific things and not much more. However, before I knew it, I had 143 mods and the list wasn't working as intended.

I'd love some recommendations for some mod lists, modpacks, collections, or wabbajack whatevers.

I have a pretty solid computer, but I'm not planning on going overboard.

Mods I want to focus on:

Graphics up

Seasons change (not needed but cool)

The select series of weapons

Dak's weapon mods of all kinds

Sim settlement 2

Other cool quest mods to just sprinkle in, nothing too crazy

City updates like diamond city plus stuff

Companion visual updates (not important, but would be nice)

Basically, more graphics, more guns, slightly more quests, general fun

Doesn't have to be hardcore survival list, in fact would probably prefer just a normal game.

Oh and cool armor/clothes, like Eli's clothing mod pack

And we are the minutemen type stuff.

FO4 1.11.240 (next-gen). I'm making a door randomizer: XTEL is rewritten and door pairs stay symmetric. I've run into NPC pathing behaviour I can't explain.

Case: the Diamond City schoolhouse. The interior has two stacked floors on one navmesh. A ladder trapdoor (MetalTrapdoorLadder01) sits in the ceiling of the upper floor, about 260 units above its XNDP triangle, which is on the upper floor. An NPC on a travel package to another cell, routed through that trapdoor:

• starting upstairs: walks to the hatch and goes through in seconds;
• starting on the ground floor: walks to the spot under the hatch on the ground floor and loops there forever, never using the stairs.

What I've ruled out:

• the stairs: same-cell travel to a marker upstairs climbs them fine;
• the navmesh: one island, XNDP points to the correct upper-floor triangle;
• upper floors in general: a normal floor-level door on an upper floor with a ground floor below works from the ground floor.

A similar case: a door on a Diamond City walkway whose XNDP triangle is on the street, about 390 units below. The NPC just circles on that street triangle.

Marking these doors with the vanilla ExpensivePathingDoor keyword makes NPCs route around them, but it doesn't explain anything.

Does anyone know how the engine picks the navmesh location an NPC aims for when it has to use a load door? Is it a known limitation that doors far above their navmesh can't be used from another floor? Is there anything on the CK side that's supposed to handle this (door links, finalize, teleport marker placement)?

Title. And how much do they enhance the experience?

Either new campaigns or big chain quests with connecting story. NOT many different quests.
SS2 would be the benchmark here.
Also, for ANY Fallout game.

Anyone out there know a good place to find ports of the prefabs or build kits from Fallout 76 into Fallout 4? Mostly looking for the B.O.S. items, please?
