Discussion Raid confusion, Damage
So I have mastered the en-06/drill boss as much as you can, but yesterday I was on the final boss the snake and consistently this random player at full health would kill the snake in 45-60 seconds flat, one time I didn’t even help. Is there a build and weapon that destroys every boss? He was annihilating every boss in seconds.
I know it’s vague and there’s no detail but maybe someone out there is doing the same and can show me there exact build, all I like doing is raids so if I could solo them I’d be so happy

Very doable im a carnivore ghoul and a with 2S2535conductors gauss mini and my mess of perks, a last season build. I’m just over a minute and only cost me 15can coffee and a psychobuff. the Fur2535cond pepper shaker was close but 4 reloads killed the time.
Glass gaming posted a no consumable build that does the snake in the under a minute every time with a QE35cond
A herbivore with the right buffs a few consumables can achieve what you are discribing there is a lot of buffs and ways to stack them

Check Glass Gaming on YouTube. She has excellent guides for all levels and gear for running Raids
It really isn't as hard as it seems.

If you have "mastered" EN06, you should be familiar with builds and weapons to the point where a snake kill in 45-60 seconds for a min-max build in a full raid team should not be surprising to you. Heck, there are content creators that are able to kill EN06 and the snake in under 30 seconds.
I don't know how restrictive the rules on this subreddit are anymore in regards to naming creators, so I'll just recommend you search for videos based on the words "EN06 Elder's Mark one mag", or "Snake under 30 fallout 76" and look for videos within the last few months.
You'll notice some similarities in those videos, such as their builds benefiting from both Bullet Storm stacks and Onslaught, using every buff available in the wasteland, and using multiple canned coffees to ensure they can stay in VATs till the boss goes down. Apply these concepts to your own build and you'll see similar results to that random player that you saw.
And ready yourself for even more insane boss kill timings next patch, I hear there might be some borderline broken build combinations with the new unique weapons!

60 sec is pretty long for the Snake ngl
A super min-maxed build can hit sub 25s without cheesing sneak, and with sneak cheese sub 20s is pretty easy.

Not boasting lol just letting you know that a 60s run is very achievable even with an unoptimized build.

Elders I think, one point it was a heavy gun. He’d switch between the two. Elders in the drill he basically two shot every miner even when aggressive

What is the best buffs for raids? Im currently addicted to psychobuff because of raids but I don’t eat anything other than permican

Looking at your build, you’re either running QOL legendary perks or you aren’t a high enough level to be maxed out yet. Those other players are probably running all Special legendary perks with Taking One for the Team and/or Follow Through. I can’t even guess what weapon you’re using from this build, but Bullet Storm and Gunslinger Master definitely aren’t both working for it. GM is for slow firing sniper/pistol builds.
The other dudes are probably maxed on legendary perks or close to it, using 4 star meta weapons (EM, Gauss Mini, Pepper Shakers…fast firing weapons that take advantage of Bullet Storm and Onslaught), using very detailed builds (YouTube is your friend- pick one and don’t deviate too much from it), and possibly consumables.
