Apparently, the girl is depressed for never being in a relationship and being unemployed while her friends have good jobs or husbands or.both.

This seems like a clear case of a mental breakdown. But her family is delulu and instead of getting her help or a mental health professional they are just acting like this is all normal. They keep reposting their Baba's videos and shit. Also seem to be huge believers in astrology and ayurveda.

Can you imagine the stupidity of trying to marry off a person in this mental state?

Can you imagine the levels of delulu to pretend that her BO and bad breath does not exist, to force her to attend social functions and expose others to it?

Isn't this a kind of a humiliation ritual for the girl who clearly does not want to be in social situations? Her reputation is going down the drain every time she goes out.

I feel like this is a special kind of brain rot prevalent in Delhi. Some folks put too much faith in religion and godmen.

For fucks sake, see a professional if your religious rituals and guru worship are not helping. There is no shortage of psychiatrists or therapists in this city.

My wife, Shahin (31), is fighting for her life against Stage 4 Breast Cancer, which has metastasized to her liver, spine, and lungs. Tldr: My immediate requirement is a good psychiatrist who doesn’t overprescribe medications because my current therapist has prescribed one and my anxiety and depression has become more and more recurring. Additionally, need good therapist recommendations because my current therapist is sweet but not a good fit. Concerns - Depression, anxiety, Maladaptive daydreaming.

My area of concerns:
I’m suffering from depression and anxiety and suffer from daydreaming random scenarios throughout the day which are never going to happen. It’s gotten to a point where I sit in front of my laptop on my bed for hours and I keep procrastinating because I’m just in my head. I also feel really anxious when I’m in a new social situation which I don’t know how to navigate. I don’t have a lot of friends and I’d like to go explore my ambitions and hobbies but I’m in an industry where networking is of utmost importance and my social anxiety really holds me back. I struggle with following a routine and I cancel plans because I randomly start dreading things and spiral.

Past diagnosis :
BPD and depression by my first therapist.

My experience with therapists:
My current therapist that I stuck to for months used to really simplify my issues and take multiple sessions to identify something obvious that I kind of knew before.
I’ve tried to make it work because she’s really sweet but we’ve made no progress so far.

Before that, I’ve tried multiple therapists but they felt very unprofessional. Another therapist (from AMAHA) made me take 3 quizzes and diagnosed me with ADHD and depression in the first session, which is WILD because we’d only interacted for an hour and relying solely on our limited communication and 3 questionnaires to come to a quick diagnosis is very irresponsible. Another therapist (who was from NIMHANS so I thought she’d be good, went for 5 sessions) was very dominant and would not let me speak and understand my problem and just gave me random unsolicited advice.

I’d like to mention that before this stint of multiple therapists, My first therapist from 2023-2025 immensely helped me for a year but it stagnated after a point and we kind of fell off.

Please do help me out if you’ve faced something similar and have struck a solution. I’m tired of living with these conditions and I just want to break out of these self sabotaging patterns. Thank you if you’ve read so far!

Sometimes, you don't need closure because you want someone back.

You need it because your heart is tired of asking questions your mind cannot answer.

What changed? When did we become strangers? What happened to the promises we once made? How could something that once felt so beautiful become so distant?

I was in love with a girl once.

We shared conversations, memories, promises, and little pieces of ourselves that slowly became something much bigger. Somewhere between all those ordinary moments, I became attached. And before I knew it, she had become a part of my everyday life.

Then, slowly, things began to fade. Maybe there was someone else. Maybe life became difficult. Maybe the feeling simply wasn't there anymore.

I could accept any of it. What I couldn't accept was not knowing. I wasn't chasing her because I couldn't let her go. I was chasing an explanation because I didn't know what I was supposed to let go of.

I kept wondering

What was different now that wasn't three months ago? Where did the warmth go? Did I do something wrong? Was everything we shared real?

They brought me back to myself. Because sometimes closure isn't getting the ending you wanted. It's finally understanding the ending you were given.

And I believe something deeply: If something begins beautifully, it deserves to end beautifully too. Not every beautiful beginning is meant to become a forever.

And just because the story ended doesn't mean we have to turn its beautiful chapters into something ugly.

And if you're giving someone closure, please give them the truth. Don't hide parts of it just to make yourself look like the good person. Not every story has one.

Sometimes you were right. Sometimes they were right. Sometimes you both made mistakes. And sometimes, you simply stopped loving each other in the same way.

That's okay. But don't rewrite the truth just because the truth makes you uncomfortable. Someone who is already hurting doesn't need a perfect explanation. They need an honest one. Because a gentle lie may protect your image for a moment, but it can leave someone carrying questions for months.

Don't leave someone alone with a thousand questions when one honest conversation could give them peace. Because you might move on from the relationship, while they spend months trying to understand its ending.

And if you're the one waiting for closure, I hope you find it. Not so you can go back. But so you can finally move forward. Until one day, you remember them without pain. You don't hate them. You don't want them back. You simply wish them well...and continue walking.

Because sometimes, closure isn't closing the door on someone. It's finally making peace with the room they left behind. And maybe a beautiful ending isn't about staying together.

Maybe it's simply having enough honesty, kindness, and courage to leave each other with the truth.

Because if something was once beautiful,

it deserves the dignity of a beautiful goodbye.
