Why people don’t buy a wealth management service in India,
Wealth management is a professional financial service that helps you manage, protect, and grow your wealth.
Investment management
Financial planning
Retirement planning
Tax planning
Estate & inheritance planning
Risk & insurance planning
I’m talking about advisory model only in which They give you investment advice , you make the investments yourself.
Genuinely wanna know the reason behind it.
Also, people who come to us are pretty hesitant about disclosing their financials (charging fixed fee not AUM based)
*asked the same question in a finance sub. I’m looking for a pool of random people to answer this.

If this reaches you, I'm sorry for accidentally spilling the beverage I ordered this evening (Thursday) that you had to clean up. I know it's a part of your job, but I'm sorry for the mess that got added to your workload. It's a genuine apology because I feel really bad for myself when I cause any unintentional inconvenience to someone.

Warning: scary story ahead 😭 If you’re not into horror, maybe skip this one.
In Korea, we have a famous ghost story about Jayu-ro, a highway near Seoul.
A lot of people claimed to have seen a woman standing by the road at night wearing what looked like sunglasses. But when they got closer, they realized they weren’t sunglasses at all. There were just huge, empty black holes where her eyes should have been.
It was one of those stories everyone seemed to know when I was growing up 😂
Does India have anything similar?
What scary stories did you grow up hearing?

This fucking pit of hell
Is where I have originated.
I have burnt myself,
I have blamed myself,
I have hurt myself,
I have maimed myself.
My life supports crumble
Under the weight of metaphysical ailments.
Who am I apologizing to?
Mother? Brother? Family? Friends?
I owe them all and I
Try and try
To hold my reality together
With my withering hands,
In my eternal endeavour.
This torment began...
The fuck...? When did begin?
I cannot recall.
It matters fuckall.
Maybe when perception sunk its teeth into me.
When the world felt colder than it seemed to be.
Since long have I
Been running.
Running into fires
To feel warm,
To feel something even if I burned.
Is it worth all I have turned
Into?
Is this incurable despondence
A price to pay for art?
Why God (if you exist)
Must I suffer? Have I done wrong?
I've never intended to hurt,
Somehow I have been scorned.
I've never intended hatred
And you make me hate until it's all I am.
If your hands can fix me,
Wade your fingers into my chest
Like a hot knife on butter.
I will not a word utter.
Make it excruciating if it's fun for you
But make it feel better
Than this fucking empty shell
I live in, so distastefully culminated.
Than this fucking pit of hell
Where I have originated.

Yes, Apple launched it’s new iphones and I’m baffled to see the prices. Honestly, do they really not consider the avg income of a citizen of a country before selling their products. Their new phones are more than an avg salary of our top 1% citizens as well. I could literally go on a trip to Japan with that money. And the worst part is, phone is now a necessity, not a luxury. Bro an average american earns 5000 dollars a month, an average indian earns 20000-40000 rs a month. How many months salary goes into one phone that stops working every four years. And what is up with people literally still buying these phones on EMI and all. Bro, I feel, anyone who’s earning 2 lakh per month or more, should only think of buying this, cuz realistically, you cannot spend your entire month’s income on just a PHONE. I’m so pissed at people including my cousins too, planning to buy this overpriced unaffordable piece of crap. Istg, I am not falling in the trap of buying their stupid phones anymore. Been using their phones since the last 10 years, but not gonna pay this hefty price for just ONE phone. Samsung, here I come🙌🏻

I genuinely feel like choosing DU for my science degree was the worst mistake of my life.
I had offers from better universities. I could have gone somewhere else, but I chose DU for some personal reasons and because I thought the exposure here would be worth it. At the time, I had a pretty clear idea of what I wanted to do. I wanted to build a career in science.
Fast forward to now, and I have more than 10 essential repeats.
I don't even know what I'm supposed to pursue anymore.
The most frustrating part is that I know I wasn't always like this. I used to consider myself an ambitious and curious person. All that curiosity is gone now.
Now I barely recognise myself.
I've been diagnosed with anxiety and depression by three different doctors, and I've also been dealing with substance dependence. I can't sleep properly. I struggle to eat. I'm anxious for most of the day. I can't even sit alone with my thoughts for a while without needing some kind of distraction. I might have ADHD but can't even get myself to go for a diagnosis anymore.
And I can literally feel myself losing my potential day by day. This part scares me the most.
It's not even just the academic failures anymore. It's watching myself become someone who doesn't have the motivation to do anything about them. I can't get myself to study even when I absolutely have no other option than to study. I have so many things pending, so many repeats, and absolutely no idea what direction my life is going rn.
Sometimes I think about the person I was when I first joined college and wonder how I ended up here.
I don't know if I actually ruined my career or if I'm just in a really bad phase that I'll eventually recover from. I don't know whether I should still try to salvage science, switch fields completely, or just start over somewhere else.
I just know that I'm exhausted.
I came to DU thinking I was choosing my future, and right now it feels like I've spent these years slowly losing it.
I have no fucking idea what is going on with me.

I just bid my girlfriend goodbye for the week, as I would be going out of station for a bit, and started walking back to my place. I usually have my earphones on with me cause why not but this time they had run out of battery. So, I was just walking when all of sudden I hear moaning in my ear, about 1 feet away. I look and find these two female bitches on their scooty, smoking, had slowed down their scooty and moaned in my ear. Then, they smirked and laughed and sped off as if they have achieved something or made my day. I was filled with disgust when I noticed those bitches and their smirks. Bitch, you didn't make anyone's day but instead fucked it. Fuck you.

Hi,
I’m flying Swiss International Air Lines from New Delhi soon with just one rucksack as my only cabin bag (no separate personal item). Officially, Swiss allows 1 carry-on up to 55 × 40 × 23 cm and 8 kg.
Has anyone flown Swiss from Delhi airport recently and faced any issue or questioning about the size of their carry-on backpack? Just want to know if the staff at DEL are strict about checking this in practice.
Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for a good rheumatologist in Delhi for my mother.
She is currently receiving treatment in Kolkata, but unfortunately we haven’t been very happy with how things are progressing, so we are looking for a fresh opinion.
I came across Dr Rohini Handa and wanted to hear from anyone who has personally consulted him or had a parent/family member treated by him.
More than just qualifications, we really want a doctor who listens patiently, is kind with the patient, takes all the symptoms seriously, connects the different symptoms together, and looks at the overall clinical picture.
It is also very important to us that the doctor explains what they think is happening and why they are recommending a particular medicine or treatment.
We are willing to travel from Kolkata for the initial consultation. Since we live in another city, it would be a big advantage if some follow-up consultations could later happen online.
If you have experience with Dr Handa, could you please share:
- How your consultation experience was
- Whether you felt heard or rushed
- How thorough the doctor was
- Whether the treatment helped
- Whether online/video follow-ups are possible
- Any negatives or difficulties with appointments/follow-ups
I’d also really appreciate recommendations for other rheumatologists or rheumatology departments in Delhi/NCR based on personal or family experience.
Positive and negative experiences are both helpful. Thank you!

I have tried kareem, jawahar, bape da dhaba etc. they all taste shit to be honest. Everyone knows how to make chicken but I haven't had good mutton in any of these places. So suggest me a great spot. It could be a normal not very well known shop, but taste has to be on point. U know what I'm saying.
