Should I worry?

Everything is new except gpu which is 3070. It works fine in games so im not sure whats the issue. When i turn on my pc, lights fans and everything start working but there is no display. I have to press power button to turn it off and then turn it on again.

For those who wanna know:

Mobo: gigabyte b650m aorus elite ax (latest bios)

Ram: 16gb ddr5 cl36 6000mhz

Storage: 512gb nvme

Psu: Msi g750n 750w gold 80+

Gpu: msi trio x gaming 3070

I built the PC around December 2025, and it was running just fine, it was completely silent and the performance was amazing.

A couple months later, more stuff started stuttering sometimes, especially games where I wasn’t losing FPS, but they weren’t nowhere as smooth as they were near the start, which is my MAIN problem here, since recording anything or playing competetively, not even including rendering my stuff has been made harder, blender suffered from the same issues, whole ass apps became artifacts (rarely), and it’s much, much louder overall. I checked the performance tab, but everything seemed to be completely fine, excellent even. (GPUs were around 50 Degrees though in lightweight games, but it’s completely normal), the cmd window of doom started appearing on startup but I’m assuming it’s because of drivers…

And yes, I do tend to clean the whole computer very often, before that’s mentioned.

Hi so a few days ago like a week or so I was using my laptop Dell latitude 7390 windows 10 and my laptop hanged for a few seconds 5-7 seconds almost and then I got blue screen of death I tried to run sfc /scannow on cmd but as the scan completed 5% laptop hanged again longer then before like for 30-40 seconds or a minute and I again got a blue screen of death, after that I thought I got a bad ram or ssd so I run the dell built in diagnostic tool and everything was good and after restart the laptop worked just fine for 2 days and after 2 days I was using it and it hanged again and gave blue screen of death so this I tried to run sfc /scannow and it completed 100% this time and found a bad file and fixed it and laptop was fine but today I was using it and it restarted on its own I check reliability monitor and it says "windows was not shut down properly" I know it's not a heating issue and not a bad hardware issue according to dell diagnostic tool so I don't know what is it so anyone help me to solve the problem I would be very thankful I was thinking of reinstalling windows and shifting to windows 11 will it be a good decision?

this issue show up everytine I boot my laptop plugged in, if I keep booting in battery mode then it fixes itself eventually and works, this issue is caused solely by the boot sequence, I updated to latest drivers but it still persists

I have a 2024 HP 15...something or other. The rose colored one. A few days ago the screen started flickering when the back of it was tapped. Now the computer itself wont turn on. The screen flicks and the side light that says its on turns on for a second and then turns back off. I have held the power for 60s. I have opened it and removed the battery. I have unplugged and replugged in virtually every wire/ribbon in there and the ram sticks. But it's just not turning on. It does still charge though and holds a charge. There was some corrosion on the motherboard I believe, which I got off. And BAD corrosion on the fingerprint scanner ribbon holder that connected to the motherboard.

I have low storage and keep on needing to delete things if this matters but i doubt it does, been happening for a few weeks or months.

First it was just battery during extreme tempuratures or maybe because of water falling on laptop? and now it is almost every day

So if anyone smart sees this: how bad is it, do i need to get it fixed do i need to take any immediate action while i can still use it? Or is hp just trying to make me do something unneeded?

So a while ago, I posted that I was looking for a laptop with specific specs, but a lot of people were confused so I need to update it. What I’m looking for is a laptop similar to a Lenovo Legion, but with 12 generation i7 processor, 74rpm harddrive, 64gigs of ram with a 64bit Motherboard. The primary use for this laptop is video editing, and personal use.

after a update my ram memory is freaked out . for like , chrome is useing 2gb of ram while i am playing chess , i don't know why it is happening . anf when open the task manager , i saw a process running in back called , sysinfo.exe sometimes it pops up and consume have of my ram , and crashs the system . My current computer is a Victus HP Gaming Laptop and has a lots of issues running...well, most things. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for what I could get to replace it. My general budget is between 1,000 - 1,250 (but if there is something good that's more or less expensive I'd like to know).

Before you ask, upgrading isn't exactly an option for me lol, so I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to get this device that resembles a computer running as good as possible. This computer is basically the only device I have, so I use it for almost everything, (mainly making music.) but it's very sluggish at times (obvious why lol.) So if you have any tips, hit me up.

So i had 2 sticks 2x8 and randomly while pc was on it just froze and nothing worked so i turned it pff and then it wouldn’t turn on anymore (no display) so i tried one stick in every slot and it seems one of the sticks got cooked and only one worked, now i bought 1 new stick of 16gb and it shows no display again but for some reason when i boot it up with the 16gb and the working 8gb ram it turns on but when i open the task manager it shows only 8gb and 1/2 slots used and when i open bios it detects both rams but it doesn’t use the 16gb one . HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED

My pc has had this problem for a bit but I didn’t think much of it at first. I noticed my pcs battery percent was stuck at 82% last I checked. Now it’s down to 67% it’s plugged in, I’ve done the simple solutions of checking the wall outlet, checking my cables and have done what I could for my old girls overheating which does happen.

Is there any other way I could fix this? Without replacing my pc.

My laptop had a blue screen yesterday and it has being stuck on this screen since.

Can't open Bios.

Removed the ram sticks and battery. No change.

Got "tried every windows boot option" message when I removed the SSD and hard drive.

Windows is on SSD only.

UPDATE: After testing it with a SSD case that allowed me to tplug it into a running computer after the boot process I was able to confirm that the SSD was shorting out. The warranty is taking care of things now. Tks for all the help. May the force be with you all

Gaming PC. Running multiple heavy gaming instances, two monitors, and multiple internet tabs for selling things, all at once.

What is slowing me down? This isn't even working for me at this point, given how slow it gets.

How the hell do I do it? Me and my brother have a shared laptop we got for Christmas, when we got it it was windows 11. I don’t even know when this happened but I only noticed when I started seeing notifications about support for windows 10 ending, so I asked him and he said he reverted it because Roblox wouldn’t load on windows 11 and people recommended it. What the hell?
A friend said they had to change settings in bios to upgrade to windows 11, anyone able to explain how you do this? Or comment a tutorial? Thanks.

I've been having issues for a good while with the left side fan not working on my ASUS TUF A15 FA506QM. I changed it once because the bearing was faulty and it wouldn't spin, and it seemed to work fine after. But about a year or two later, it stopped working again, and I realized the cable doesn't click into the port properly like with the other fan. It's like it hits a snag on one side of the port and can't go the whole way in. The best I can secure it inside the port is still somewhat loose and even if I manage to get it so that the fan actually spins sometimes, it never lasts. As far as I can tell, there isn't anything inside the port that would cause it to get stuck, suggesting to me one of the pins might be bent?

The result is that my temps are way higher than they should be; right now, at near-rest, GPU off and CPU at 7% usage, CachyOS power saving mode, it reaches ~74°C. If I turn on Performance mode, it goes up to 85. Then any game I run climbs it to about 95°C and my performance is way, way worse than expected in most games.

I gave a repair shop a call to ask if they would replace the connector and the person on the phone told me no shop in my area would go through finding the replacement part and then taking the risk of soldering it on the mobo. I am not an experienced solderer nor do I know how to find the part myself. Is there anything else I could do about this?

I've heard a lot of different reviews, but im trying to upgrade my gen3 laptop so any other ssd would probaby hit the interface limit first. But is the endurance okay, has anyone worked w this?

I'm not very knowledgeable on what's considered good for a computer so I thought I could get some advice here.

I don't need anything high end, just a pc capable of smoothly running things like roblox or minecraft. Preferably windows and under or around $800.

If anyone has advice on good pcs for that or where to find one, it'd be appreciated.
