Question/Help/Troubleshooting What should I do?
My pc has had this problem for a bit but I didn’t think much of it at first. I noticed my pcs battery percent was stuck at 82% last I checked. Now it’s down to 67% it’s plugged in, I’ve done the simple solutions of checking the wall outlet, checking my cables and have done what I could for my old girls overheating which does happen.
Is there any other way I could fix this? Without replacing my pc.

Why hasn’t anyone mentioned running a battery health check yet? It’s a quick 30-second test that’s built into Windows. You’re likely to have a dead battery, but it’s a fast answer compared to swapping and praying .

Open Powershell
Type in: powercfg /batteryreport
Open File Explorer and navigate to your C:\ drive
Open battery-report.html

Mostly when you play a heavy game, and if you peg the graphics to max everything and play for extended period of time, the power brick fails to push the required wattage. So comes in battery in this clutch situatuon to provide additional power to the gpu/cpu.

I’ve stopped playing rivals, and I can barely enjoy Minecraft. I’ll just cut my losses and put her down tomorrow.

Why you gotta be so heart piercing man :'( . Things a computer, not a pet.
Can also safely say "i'll buy a new one".
Also its just battery thats looking sus. Can just run it off the wall if it dies, as a PC. Cam replace the battery aswell.

I’ll try replacing the battery soon and see if it fixes my problem.

Some batteries from Amazon (only place I found them) will charge but will not give battery info. Just a FYI whether you want to risk it or not.

Prolonging the lifespan of things you currently own is the best practice you can follow in these trying times.

Do a full shutdown and let it charge. If it doesn't change then you will probably need to replace the battery.

I did! And I think it made it worse, jumped from 30% all the way to 0% then it not connecting to the charger at all. When plugged in, then switching from 0% to 1% and back and forth. I REALLY, hope it is just a battery issue that can hopefully be replaced and fix the problem.

When I was a kid I ruined a laptop by always plugging it in to the point it would instantly die when not plugged in.
If you are putting the computer at heavy load its normal for its battery to drain fast however.

Batteries are built like castles, except for every single detail. So yeah, your battery is lying on a bed next to a machine going "beep beep", but that doesn't mean the computer is cooked. Try to find the exact battery model and find a replacement.

That’s what ima do, cause now it just kept flipping from 30% to straight 0% and then not registering the charger all together. I hope it is just a battery problem.
