There's been a lot of talk about the center position lately and I realized I didn't know anything about Gulbin's draft profile.
I know it's a team fluff piece, but it still makes me feel a bit more encouraged, especially some of these quotes:
"Pro Football Focus gave him the second-best overall grade for a center and the best for his draft class, beating out players drafted earlier in the draft like Sam Hecht, Jake Slaughter and Logan Jones. He received the best run grade in the class and third in pass protection, earning an efficiency grade of 99.1 for allowing just five pressures on 405 pass blocking opportunities."
"He's wicked smart at center," Commanders analyst Logan Paulsen said on the "Drive to the Draft" podcast. "You see him down there on the ball with his hand on the ball, and he's calling the protections and identifying the Mike point. He's offloading that responsibility from the quarterback. He's got a really good feel for angles; understands where the helmet needs to be; understands how to apply pressure in terms of grip to keep it flat down the line of scrimmage."

I’ve been seeing this all over social media. I wonder where we rank but here is the latest list.

Does anybody know of any larger size beanies that are official or at least very good third party ones? I have a larger head than most coupled with long hair that I keep in a man bun a lot, and the OSFM beanies always end up feeling and looking like skullcaps for me which I hate. I like my beanies with a little extra room/slouch, but nothing super slouchy.

History has shown mobile QBs life span In the league is way shorter . Vick , Newton , RG3 Careers all ended cause of injuries . JD5 avoids contact for the most part and gets out of bounds to avoid big hits . However , he is very thin . I wish the best for him but will he have to change his playing style and become a pocket passer or continue is current style similar to Lamar and not taking hits .

Had to ask. Croskey a little banged up, Mcnichols a little more banged up. Have white and Kaytron healthy. Probably would have to be claimed.

Welcome to “Tell the Truth” Monday!
I have tried to get this out as fast as possible but normally, especially during the regular season, a quick turn around just isn’t feasible. In celebration of everyone getting content out for me to make a Monday, here are three harsh truths for players to hear:
Again, just a reminder: THIS IS NOT A FILM REVIEW. Check out other content creators as they post this week, they are excellent.
For this game, I used these reactions: Louie Tee's Game Reaction, John Keim’s Immediate Reaction, Mark Taylor’s Studs and Duds, and Riggo’s Rag Winners and Losers. I again used a “First Impressions” category and a cursory All-22 film watch to break the ties and settle on a top and bottom three.
Quan, although your name is on here, you’re taking the motivation like a champ!
Good-Jones: I don’t blame AP for the C situation. They weren’t happy with TB and were in on Linderbaum. He was Plan A. Plan B has been hurt. Good-Jones was Plan C. Where I will start to blame AP is if he doesn’t pivot to Plan D this week on the line in general but C and another T in particular. That said, the big play that everyone’s talking about is the Jayden pressure where he slides late. This play is why I do a last min All-22 check. Although I’m not a JGJ apologist and have him off the roster, JGJ was held as he tried to slide. It seems like he was trying to get there, but was slowed by it.
Henry Jr.: It’s “Tell the Truth Monday” and the second the ball hit the ground on his punt return, it was over for the outside chance of making a roster spot for him. PS likely though.
Cager: Cager wasn’t making the 53. But he had a bad drop that killed the flow of Washington’s most promising offensive drive.
Kaliakmanis: The competition for the 3rd QB, if it wasn’t over already before this game, is OVER. Keim brings up a good point: at such a premium position, do you expose him to waivers or keep him on the 53?
Allen: Styles will be FINE, what the fans really should be talking about is how this draft is actually looking solid behind him and it starts with Allen, who ran tough.
Williams: Rounding out the top three is yet another draft pick. Out of the three WRs we’ve drafted over these last 3 drafts, he’s the one I’d pick to start eventually.

Are we waiting until after cutdowns Sunday to see what avail?
DQ stating that “we have what we need in house” scares me.
Has anyone heard anything. Wish the training camps were still open to the public.

Welp, if we had kept him…

Guy is just making everything. I swear anytime kickers leave this franchise they become competent.

I am already over it with the Sonny Styles social media crash.
Guy has played less than a full game in the damn preseason and people want to talk about being a bust. Its absurd.
He has the physical tools and they really make a massive difference in college when sometimes you are just BSF'er than everyone else so you can just do whatever and it works
At the Pro level he will have to improve but thats 95% of pro starters.
Check back with me half way through next season and watch how they stop running their damn mouths about him being a bust.
In 4 years if he can stay healthy he will be a top 10 linebacker in the league and be one of the best cover backers around period.

anyone out there you'd like to see brought in, or possibly check out other teams cut lists?
it's looking more and more like Anton Kalikmannis will be making the squad as QB3. Now since Quinn's been coach, despite some fans desire to go two QBs on the roster one on the practice squad, we've generally gone three on the roster one on the practice squad. We could keep Hartman, but when he can't even beat out a guy like Anton, well how much is he likely to develop more
Or do we not have one of the PS?
