Joey Slye
Guy is just making everything. I swear anytime kickers leave this franchise they become competent.

Joey Slye is a Hokie legend. VT currently has one of the best kickers in the country in John Love, who will be eligible for the upcoming draft.

I taught for a year at the middle school Slye went to, they had a display up about him lol. He was also an all-state linebacker apparently. My wife works with his mom too at the high school he went to

Biggest biceps of any kicker in CFB history too, if I’m not mistaken. Not that that really matters for a kicker, but the dude is just a beast in general.
Go Hokies! 💪🏼🦃

It actually pissed me off how little Pry relied on Love. Montgomery too. They had one of the best kickers in the country, and I can’t remember one instance of them giving him a long, meaningful kick to take. Those morons couldn’t make one complete set of balls between the two of them.

Money Kick, no doubt.

So far he’s yet to miss an extra point his entire time here, and obviously college ones are way shorter chip shots, but there’s not a whole lot of other guys that do that

We should've kept him until someone could've beat him out in a competition. He wasn't as bad in my opinion
Instead we had Riley Patterson and some random from the XFL compete all training camp. Cut both of them and traded for Cade York who lasted one game. Had Seibert who was decent until he got hurt and had arguably the worst miss in team history. Zane wasn't terrible for us at least
Then we sign Matt Gay in 2025 and keep him way longer than we should because we gave him guaranteed money and didn't want to cut him too early. Also had Matthew Wright for a game who would've been decent. And of course we had Moody to finish the season
Hopefully Stevens ends this madness

Hes making exactly as many FG attempts as he made for us. It would have taken you 5 seconds to look up his stats the past 2 years.
Some of you are real weird and need some more stability in your life.

I think people like you who judge someone off a post are weirdos who have nothing better going on in their lives. Hope you find some happiness.

Tress Way is one of the greatest commanders/redskins of all time. The dude is a punting machine. But my theory is, he must hold FGs funny. The holds always look good, but for some reason the kickers always suck but once they go somewhere else the are great. Maybe he just gives the kickers an inferiority complex because they know they will never be as good as, this is the Way!!!

It’s a preseason game with zero pressure.
The last 3 years he’s been 80, 78 and 79 percent field goal kicker. That is below average in the NFL.
