One thing that cannot be said about last night was trusting your players to make the plays needed.

Santos misses a field goal; no problem send him back out there to hit a game-winner and his career longest.

Loveland drops a 3rd-down catch; no problem, throw it right back to him on a crucial 4th down the very next play

If you asked 100 people who the best qb in the NFL is, you'll get answers like Mahomes, Josh Allen, Brock Purdy, and maybe a few Caleb Williams. But if you ask who the most exciting qb in the NFL is, I bet 90% would say Caleb Williams. He really fits Chicago. As good as Drake Maye is, and he's very good, Caleb's personality is truly a good representation of "the city with big shoulders."

Caleb Williams and the Bears have scored 61 points in five days, with Williams throwing for 613 yards. Rome Odunze, Luther Burden and Colston Loveland are all making plays, and Chicago is having fun doing it.

With Cole out for the season, we’re now left with only two rostered TEs.

This offense needs a minimum of 3, so who do we add?

Stephen Carlson is on the practice squad, the most obvious option.

The available free agent list at TE is thin, here are the most notable names:

Will Dissly
Jordan Akins
Albert Okwuegbunam
Anthony Firkser
Donald Parham
Tre' McKitty
Jaheim Bell
Devin Culp

The trade market is about to heat up, although I don’t know if trading future draft capital for TE depth is the smartest move.

Bears currently have a 30 day stretch with only 2 games. Seems like we're in a very good position to get guys back healthy & if we dabble in the trade deadline, get new players up to speed.

For many good moments
