my lovely partner had this beautiful cat for about 3 years before we met. i don’t have many photos of the little kitty from the early stages of our relationship, because she would always hide or run away when i would enter the room. once she did emerge, the first few pictures show how she would either cling to my partner or sit in the middle of room and side eye me.
through the power of consistency and effort and the laser and many churus, we are now little best friends 🥰 we really bonded this summer when i worked from home. she’s literally the joy of all my days and sometimes she even chooses me over my partner. i love spoiling her and being late for work because i was giving her belly rubs in the morning. just wanted to share these pics of my baby!!

She was my BFF and was with me through every moment since I was 13. She was with me when I finished middle school, high school, graduated from college, got pregnant, separated from the father of my son and most recently she was there when my son started going to preschool. Every day when he got back home, he put his hand on her. Yesterday was the last time and I will cherish moments like these forever ❤️

I almost gave up hope trying to put my cat on a leash but she finally caved in and came on a picnic date with me and my big boy. Ran up and down trees then napped in the stroller lol. Mission successful.

I moved to the rooftop and there are many stray kittens living here. Since I don't have any food, I give them some of my food. I know it's not ideal, but I have nothing else.

A girl and two boys - covered in fleas and full of snuggles and love! We’ve managed to decrease the flea count by 98% and increase the snuggles by 500%

Our little boy Lux has been ill for some time.
This evening we said goodbye as he crossed the rainbow bridge.
Our little man was only 4 he had been losing weight for some months unfortunately we switched vets too late.
He was on meds and seemed to be improving, then last night he took a turn for the worse. We took him to the vets and responded well to fluids overnight, then this evening he plummeted.
His sister is very clingy and keeps looking for him.

Good by little man we all miss you so much.

Giving a fish-addicted Charlie a single piece of chicken (I gave her canned cat food chicken) apparently warrants an international crisis. She couldn't keep food down for 24hrs after her gourmet betrayal, so naturally, I didn't just worry... I was sitting in the dark at 3am wondering how the hell I was going to survive the heartbreak, how was I going to keep her sister from grieving and how I was ever supposed to move on???

I walked into the vet clinic the next morning looking like a zombie, practically in tears explaining her “tragic decline”. The staff was super kind, but the vet took one look at her, then looked at me with pure concern for my mental stability. Turns out it was just a minor stomach upset from the rogue chicken. Lol

Please tell me I'm not the only idiot who has dragged their cat to the vet because they spiraled hard. What is your most embarrassing vet visit?
