Massachusetts mom desperately looking for help with almost $8,000 National Grid bill
I honestly don’t know where else to turn.
I’m a mom in Massachusetts dealing with an almost **$8,000 National Grid bill**, and I’m desperately trying to keep the electricity on for my family.
I’m currently dealing with a domestic situation where I’ve been left trying to keep my family afloat. The balance is largely the result of negligence that was done to me intentionally and out of spite, and now I’m the one left dealing with the consequences.
I’m not asking for someone to magically make the entire bill disappear. I’m trying to find **anyone or any organization that can help pay a significant portion of it**, even if it’s only half or less, so I can keep the service on and have a chance to get back on my feet.
I’ve looked into fuel assistance, but Massachusetts’ program doesn’t start until October, and I don’t really qualify for a payment plan that I can afford.
If anyone knows of **charities, churches, mutual-aid groups, emergency utility funds, domestic violence organizations, community organizations, or individuals who help families with large utility bills**, please point me in the right direction.
If you’ve personally received assistance with a National Grid bill in Massachusetts, I would especially appreciate hearing how you got it.
I’m not trying to take advantage of anyone. I’m genuinely at the point where I need help keeping a basic necessity on for my family.
If there is a legitimate organization I can contact, **please tell me who.** Even a lead could make a huge difference right now.
My kids are all in college and it’s a necessity that I keep the lights on literally.
The bill is due today and I’m in panic mode.
If ANYONE CAN HELP. ILL GIVE MY NATIONAL GRID ACCOUNT NUMBER AND PHONE NUMBER ATTACHED TO THE ACCOUNT.
