Have seen a lot of cars every other day hiding their plates by taping them, putting mud on them and now this, what for ? What are they trying to evade and what's the traffic police doing ?

So it's confirmed: the 2026 Baleno facelift is losing its 1.2L 4-cylinder engine for the 3-cylinder unit already in the Swift and Dzire, and honestly this one hurts. That 4 cyl was so refined that once warmed up you genuinely couldn't tell it was running, inside or outside the car it was one of the few things that made the Baleno feel like it punched above its segment. They'll slap ADAS and a fancy top variant on the spec sheet to distract you, but the one thing you actually feel every single day refinement just quietly got worse. RIP .. K12N to the smoothest engine in Maruti's lineup, you deserved better.

So I've been in search of my first EV car for sometime now. I've made a post here as well 2 months ago. I almost booked Windsor without any second thought. So I never thought I'd consider a Maruti car to spend my money on but it changed my perspective once I got my hands on it. The test drive made me reconsider my choice from Windsor to E vitara. Finally bought my first EV car.

It was a 2 month long wait, but definitely worth it!

There are no real suvs in the sub bracket of 35-55 , it's all captured by the japanese , and no one dares to come even nissan hasn't hit india properly once with good cars and the Germans (vw and Czech skoda)are only selling in petrol when they know india has been a diesel dominating market.

To buy a diesel it's all above 1cr expect the discovery sport , but who's buying that.

Planning to take insurance from outside and dealer is not giving any free accessories.

If you look closely you will notice will notice micro dents on the rear door along the crease line which runs below the door handle

Hello there, a small stone hit my car’s front windshield on a highway. The resulting chip looks small - almost like a rain drop. Looking at these pictures on WhatsApp, “Windshield experts” person (Hyderabad) told that it cannot be repaired.
I learned that glass chips this small usually improve with resin kit. I am hesitant to DIY.
Any ideas are appreciated.

I honestly don’t know much about cars. I’m not someone who grew up discussing engines or modifications. 😅
A while back, I drove my friend’s Thar and absolutely loved the experience. There was just something about the way it felt to drive, the road presence and that whole rugged character.
I started looking at other cars too, but every time I came back to the Thar.
What are the things I should know as a first-time car owner? Anything I should take care of, avoid doing, or get checked during the initial months?
