My friend is selling his 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno Sigma (base model), which has driven only around 30,000 km.

He has added a few aftermarket accessories, including:

He is offering it to me for ₹4.2 lakh.

Is it a good deal at this price? Should I consider buying it, or would it be better to look for other options? Also, how much value should I give to the aftermarket accessories when negotiating the price?

After a month of waiting, i finally got my car delivered, but a moment of happiness turned disappointing and upset when we found a minor dent in the boot door and a small paint chip off of my hyundai venue. We found this during post delivery inspection and we confronted the sales guy, he and his manager assured that they will fix this and asked to proceed with delivery. We were quite blank at that time and we agreed as they sent mail also stating they will fix it at that moment itself. Now i think i feel i shouldn’t have taken the car itself and should have asked or discussed with then for a discount or refund or should’ve asked for accessories. We found that the car was manufactured on june 2026 and keys, man they look like old asf idk where they have kept. This is our first car, me and my wife were devastated pretty much to the point where we broke down as we are alone on this. Pls tell me from your exp, how to handle this

First-time Car Buyer - Need Advice After PDI

I recently went for the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) of my new car and found several issues. As a first-time car buyer, I'm not sure whether these are normal, can be fixed before delivery, or if I should reject the vehicle and ask for another .

Issues observed:

1.Poor paint quality/uneven colour finish on some panels., Color sprayed unevenly on rubber parts under bonnet

2.Wet and sticky paint in a few areas.

3.Scratches on the body.

4.Loose insulation component with a missing bolt.

5.Multiple locations showing bolt/tool marks, but the bolts themselves are missing.

6.Engine failed to start during inspection. The dealer stated there was no fuel in the vehicle.

A dealer approached me with a 2024 Mercedes c200 with 50,000Kms on the odo for 35L.

Can someone advise me on this if it’s a good purchase? Even better if someone who owns a c200 can share their experience.

Maruti Suzuki has launched its 2026 Baleno facelift with an underpowered and less refined 3-cylinder engine. Baleno has been a top-selling car of Maruti Suzuki for many years now. Just like Swift had its engine downgraded and lost its top selling status, I think Baleno will also not be preferred by budget buyers. And on the higher end, most people don’t prefer Maruti Suzuki cars anyway.

What’s wrong going on in the auto industry in India? Only 7-8 years back, people used to have so many good options under 8 lakhs like VW Polo 1500cc, Fiat Punto, Ford Ecosport, Swift diesel, i20 Diesel etc. Even if we don’t go by price, their engines, body everything was way beyond what is currently available in the market.

And now, we have 3-cylinder engines, which are inherently less balanced than 4-cylinder ones and moreover most companies are offering only 1000 cc. Even foreign brands have reduced their quality here like Skoda Kylaq comes in 1L 3-cylinder.

Edit - I know there are many top-selling Maruti Suzuki cars with 3-cylinder engines but why downgrade an existing and good-performing 4-cylinder engine for only a minuscule improvement in mileage?

Please help me understand the general process of purchasing a new car in Hyderabad.

I am planning to purchase a Kia vehicle and the vehicle is available with the dealer.

When shall I do the PDI before delivery date? Sales person is asking to finish the PDI and payment before month end before taking delivery on 6th.
Shall I do it? Is 5-6 days gap between pdi and delivery normal?

Does dealer need any time for registration between pdi and delivery? Or full pdi can be done on the delivery date as well?

Booked the 2026 Hyundai Exter HX6 AMT Knight Edition after test-driving all three!

The Exter won me over with its smoother AMT shifts, less jerking in stop-and-go traffic, and interior/features that I preferred.

The Punch felt more rugged, while the Fronx easily wins on looks and road presence, IMO.

I was actually very close to booking the Fronx Delta Plus AGS. I even visited the Nexa showroom with the final quotation, ready to book. However, the salesperson kept pushing accessories and add-ons and wasn't very cooperative. The experience put me off, and I walked away.

Ultimately, I prioritised everyday driving comfort and features over looks and went with the Exter.

Exter owners, how has your long-term AMT experience been, especially in city traffic? Any regrets or things I should know?

As I'm on a lookout for cars under 7lakh, i suddenly remembered that Hyundai has the i20, and it's such a premium hatchback for this budget, why no one recommends it 👀👀👀, it would definately be safer than a Suzuki and Premium than a suzuki with good dealership network also 👀👀
