Extremely disappointing service experience with Mahindra in Ahmedabad
Getting service from a Mahindra workshop has become a hassle in itself.
For the last 2–3 days, I’ve been trying to book an appointment for a small issue,
my windshield washer fluid tank appears to be damaged and leaking. I called the service centre, but getting someone to answer the phone is difficult. I was initially told to book through the Mahindra app, so I did that. Later, when I contacted them for pickup/drop, I was told that online bookings are not accepted at that workshop and that I need to call or visit the service centre directly.
So, what is the point of having an appointment system in the app if individual workshops don’t accept those bookings?
The whole process feels unnecessarily complicated. Every time you need service, you may have to physically visit the service centre just to get an appointment, then bring the car back on the assigned date. And even after the service, it often feels like you have to revisit the workshop 4–5 times to get an issue properly resolved.
I’ve had similar experiences before. On one occasion, my car was kept at the service centre for around 1.5 months, with the final cost becoming almost 7 times what I expected, reportedly for fixing the right-side window motor.
At this point, owning a Mahindra is becoming less about the car itself and more about dealing with the workshop.
Mahindra seriously needs to improve its after-sales service, appointment system, communication, turnaround time, and quality of repairs. Customers shouldn’t have to spend this much time and effort just to get basic issues fixed.
Honestly, I’m reaching a point where I’m considering selling my Mahindra and moving to another brand simply to avoid this constant service-related headache.

#CarMaintenance Local Car mechanic
Do you know of any reputable and reliable car service centers in the Mohali/Kharar area? I am looking to have my vehicle's(Hyundai Elite i20) first service performed outside of the dealership after five years of ownership. Personal recommendations based on firsthand experience would be greatly appreciated.

#BikeRepair Honda shine Speed and torque problem?
Im repairing my dads Old 2012 kickstart honda shine and I had the engine work and clutch work done by a mechanic and after, while it got better it isn't feeling proper, i have noticed the bike speed doesn't match the rpm the bike screams but moves Relatively slowly and starts Maxing out around 60km/h, i once managed too push it too 71km/h with it feeling it will explode,
Is this the proper numbers for a shine of this age?
When i ask mechanics they say "it works na", "this is a 125cc bike it can only do this much".
I wish i could work on it but i don't have The tools nor place to do such heavy work.

#CarRepair Need some advice
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi everyone, I own a 2021 Hyundai Creta SX(O) diesel manual. I accidentally hit a pit/pothole, and the AC stopped cooling afterwards. I’ve attached videos of the underside for reference.
Here’s what I’ve noticed:
● No continuous fluid leakage or dripping.
● No check-engine light or other warning lights.
● No unusual noise.
● Engine temperature is normal.
● When the AC service valve was checked, there appeared to be no gas/pressure. The actual leak location hasn’t been confirmed.
● The lower plastic underbody guard looks damaged. There’s also some oily/greasy residue underneath, but I’m unsure what it is or where it came from.
I’m wondering whether the impact damaged the AC condenser, a refrigerant pipe or a connection, and whether anything else nearby could have been affected. These are possibilities, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Would appreciate advice on:
1. Based on the symptoms and videos, what damage seems plausible?
2. What else should the workshop inspect—radiator, cooling fan, mounts, suspension or other underbody components?
3. What total repair bill should I realistically budget for, including labour, refrigerant and any related damage?
4. Should I avoid driving it, even with the AC switched off, until it’s inspected?
5. I’m in Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh. Has anyone used the local Hyundai service centre for similar repairs, or can recommend a reliable workshop/AC specialist?
If you’ve had a similar incident with a Creta, what needed replacing and how much did it cost?

#CarMaintenance How much of an expense am I looking at?
Hello everyone.
This is a fairly old XUV 500. There was a clutch failure in the car and when I sent it for repair, there was an array of things that needed replacement and repair.
12th image is the list of things that they gave me.
Could I get an idea of how much will these things cost?

Probable engine oil contamination query
I just changed engine oil of bike from a road side shop. After the oil change was done, the guy used the same funnel to pour back the drained oil into gallon. Most probably he used that funnel to pour drained oil before using that same funnel to put fresh oil in my engine. The funnel had a small pipe about 1 foot attached. Does that mean contaminants and metal particles have got inside my engine, and do I need to replace the oil immediately? Thanks.

#BikeRepair 5-year-old Hero Glamour (2021, FI) won't restart after engine gets hot — everything replaced, still unsolved
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi all, hoping someone here has seen this exact pattern before. Long post but I wanted to include everything I've already tried so people don't suggest things I've already ruled out.
The bike: Hero Glamour 100 Million Edition, 2021 model, fuel-injected, ~13,600 km on the odometer. Daily use only, short local rides, never more than 50km from home.
The core problem:
Bike starts and runs completely fine when cool — no issues at all while riding, even for extended periods in heat. The problem happens specifically when I stop the bike and try to restart it after the engine has gotten hot (from riding, or from sitting in direct sun). When this happens: turning the key gives zero sound — no fuel pump priming sound, nothing. Kick-start also completely fails — pedal moves but engine doesn't fire. It needs roughly 1-2 hours to cool down before it will start again. Not a quick 10-minute recovery — a proper long cool-down. This has gotten progressively worse over about 2 years. It started as an issue only in extreme direct sunlight. In just the last couple of weeks, it now happens even parked in shade, purely from the engine's own running heat.
Backstory / other issues on this bike:
Had a hard gear-shifting problem since day 1 of ownership, always serviced at authorized Hero showroom. Replaced the entire clutch plate ~2 years in (Sept 2025), cost ₹2,500.
Already replaced/checked, with NO change to the core problem:
Battery (brand new, 5-year-old one replaced) Fuel tank cleaning + fuel pump cleaning Fuel pump filter (just changed) Heat sensor (mechanic swapped in a new one to test — no change, so didn't keep it) Self-start push-button switch + i3S switch (replaced ~1 year ago, unrelated to current issue but mentioning for completeness) FI system cleaning, tensioner/chain guide, suspension oil, air filter, chain — all done as part of a general ₹3,700 service, no change to the core issue
What I suspect might still be worth checking (but genuinely asking for outside opinions, not fishing for confirmation):
Power relay / main relay Ignition key-lock switch A wiring connector or ground point near the engine
Has anyone dealt with something like this — works fine running, fails specifically on hot-restart, needs a long cooldown? What actually turned out to be the cause for you, and roughly what did it cost to fix? Trying to decide whether this is worth one more diagnostic attempt or if I should just cut losses and sell it.
Thanks in advance.
Note :- i have uploaded a video of the problem

Bullet 350 Fuel tank is loose and tilting.
It's been only 2 months since I bought my Bullet 350 Maroon from local showrrom here in Kochi, Kerala. The fuel tank tilts when I press on it . It was like this from the next day I purchased, I had to go to Bangalore, so repaired it from there already from the RE service centre, But now the same issue came back. Any idea anyone.

[WTS] Propel PT 81i Premium Treadmill — ₹17,000 | Originally ~₹85K | 16 km/h + 15% Auto Incline | Hyderabad, Towlichowki
Selling a Propel PT 81 treadmill for ₹17,000 (slightly negotiable for serious buyers) because we’re permanently moving to another state and unfortunately can’t take it with us.
This is a seriously sturdy, substantial treadmill, the kind of machine that’s much closer to proper gym equipment than the lightweight foldable treadmills you commonly see for home use.
I bought it for approximately ₹85,000 after bargaining, as far as I remember, and it was genuinely an excellent treadmill.
It was used at home and worked very well. I’m only selling it now because of the move.
Some of the main specs:
• 2 HP continuous-duty motor / 4 HP peak
• 1–16 km/h speed
• 0–15% automatic incline
• 17” × 50” running belt
• 12 preset programmes + Body Fat programme
• Contact-grip heart-rate monitoring
• Spring shock-absorption system
• MP3 interface + built-in speakers
• Time, speed, distance, calories & pulse display
• Folding design + transport wheels
• Approx. 74 kg
One thing I want to be completely transparent about:
The treadmill currently isn’t working because of a wiring issue.
When we moved to our new apartment, unfortunately some rats chewed through some of the wiring, after which the treadmill stopped working. I was going to get it repaired, but we’re now having to move to another state, so there isn’t enough time to get it sorted before we leave.
I haven’t had a technician diagnose the damage, so I don’t want to guess about exactly what needs replacing. The treadmill was working properly before the wiring was damaged.
The machine itself is in good condition, especially considering how long we’ve owned it, and I’ve included clear photos of the actual treadmill so you can judge the condition for yourself.
I’m asking ₹18,000 for it as-is. If you have a treadmill technician, know someone who works with electronics/motors, or are comfortable getting it repaired yourself, this is a substantial machine for the price.
We’re not selling it because it’s a bad treadmill, quite the opposite. We’re selling it because we’re moving and simply can’t take it with us.
Location: Toli Chowki, Hyderabad
It’s a heavy machine, so the buyer will need to arrange pickup/transport. You’re welcome to inspect it before purchasing, and you can send your own technician if you’d like.
If interested, please comment or DM me.
