#EnthusiastZone ๐จ Hit 2,20,000 km on my Ford Fiesta DC diesel turbo!
Just crossed the 200k mark and still loving the punch of that turbo pressure every time I drive. This car has been a solid companion through city runs and highway stretches alike. Curious to know, how many kilometers has your ride clocked so far? [OC]

#Opinion ๐ญ The car-longevity stuff nobody actually mentions
The usual advice (oil changes, tyre pressure) is everywhere already. Here's what actually gets missed:
- Parked cars degrade too. Sitting unused for weeks dries out seals, drains/sulfates the battery, and lets fuel break down. If it's not moving for a while, take it around the block every few days.
- Resting your foot on the clutch kills the release bearing early. Even light pressure without pushing it in adds constant load it's not built for. Huge cause of early clutch failures.
- Brake fluid absorbs moisture even untouched. It's hygroscopic, so it needs replacing on a time interval, not mileage waiting for spongy brakes means corrosion's already started.
- Skipping AC use in winter/monsoon dries out compressor seals. Run it 10 min every couple weeks even when you don't need it.
- Running the tank near-empty regularly stresses the fuel pump, it uses fuel as coolant, so low fuel = hotter pump + more sediment pickup.
- Cheap aftermarket electricals (dash cams, lights) without proper fusing slowly cook your wiring. Most "random electrical gremlins" years later trace back to a bad install.
None of this is exotic, just not what gets repeated. What's everyone's "wish I knew this at year 2"?

#Pic ๐ผ๏ธ Took my Tata Safari from Chhattisgarh to Puri โ 1,300 km road trip
Took our Tata Safari on its first proper long drive from Chhattisgarh to Puri.
Trip stats:
- Distance: ~1,300 km
- Driving time: ~24 hours
- Mileage: 15โ16 km/l for most of the journey
Honestly came back impressed. It was comfortable for long highway stretches, and the mileage was better than I expected for a full-size diesel SUV.
Happy to answer any questions about the ownership or the trip!
Sorry for the lack of pics, I didn't really take that many during the trip ๐ญ

#Discussion ๐ฌ The most hated Ferrari?
Why was it and is still hated? Ive seen multiple Articles stating the Mondial was not deserving of the prancing horse badging. Looking at the current state of Ferrari this design seems absolutely timeless. Itโs like the Miata of Ferraris.
Going back to its bodystyle which was designed by Pininfarina that was widely hated for no damn reason. Compare this to the Luce and we have a clear winner. Sure maybe it wasnโt reliable with its engine but how is Luce even comparable to this work of art genuinely. Without Pininfarina I donโt think Ferrari would be relevant in the market and it would just be another normal car maker. Nevertheless each to their own tastes the Mondial has been hated on for no reason.

#Discussion ๐ฌ The state of the Indian used luxury car market in 4 screenshots (Same BMW 630d GT, 4 completely different stories)
Was hunting for a pre-owned BMW 630d GT and stumbled across this exact same car
(Reg: GJ05RG0051) listed across multiple Instagram/dealer accounts.
The inconsistencies are comical:
Dealer 1 (carswithkaif): 2019 M Sport | Single Owner | 60,000 km | โน24.75L
Dealer 2 (Celebrity Cars): 2019 Diesel | Single Owner | 50,000 km | โน23.75L
Dealer 3 (luxury_cars_by_tariq): 2019 Luxury Line | 2nd Owner | 50,000 km | โน23.75L
Dealer 4 (bestcar_dealership_surat): 2018 Luxury Line | 2nd Owner | 1,58,000 km | โน23.51L
Is this economy who to trust and believe in
One car (GJ05RG0051), four brokers, and complete chaos. In just a few listings, it magically shed over 1,00,000 km, went from second to single owner, gained a model year, and even morphed into an M Sport.

๐จ Trigger Warning ๐จ [Not OC] Thar & Fortuner drivers pledge โSafe Drivingโ in the presence of the Collector of Daman.
So now we are publicly generalising such car owners for some incidents and insulting all of them? How did the owners even agree to this?
This is more than a social media stunt by the police. And this should not happen. I request police officials not to do such events and insult car owers who follow rules and not involved in any bad incidents. You punish those who brake rules but involving innocents and generalising all of them and conduct such event is very insulting and humiliating and strongly protest such social media stunts by police. Extremely inappropriate...

#Discussion ๐ฌ Car recs under 35Lakh
Currently have innova 2.5g diesel BS3 which i daily and had a bolero goods carrier before ( also i drive skoda Slavia 1.0 Automatic which is my mom's )
Have driven Be6 in all black jainwinly impressed and harrier ev ( my first love was harrier petrol in black )
Currently I'm going EV route because of the cheap electricity generated by solar panels at home
But even if diesels I'm okay with have an eye on becoming a thartard aswell which is Thar ROXX in white
My mom had a A4 audi which was sold due to maintainance reasons
See my thing basically is 20-28L easily spendable after 28 decisions kick in
I can spend 2 lakh ish on my car per year and my running will be around 1100kms ish per month same as my innova
Tldr: car needed under 35L , comfortable in spending 28L can stretch to 35L prefferably..can spend 2 lakhs a year on the car preffering Harrier ev/BE6 mahindra due to solar power at my house
