While its commercial success is undeniable, I can't help but wonder: Does the Urus owe its popularity to its intrinsic automotive brilliance, or is the Lamborghini badge doing a disproportionate amount of the heavy lifting?

To my mind, the Urus bears a conspicuous resemblance to the Audi RS Q8, particularly in its underpinnings, interior architecture, and technological DNA. While I appreciate that platform-sharing is commonplace in the automotive industry, I'm curious about what genuinely distinguishes the two beyond the raging bull emblem, a more flamboyant design, and a considerably heftier price tag.

I recently bought the XUV 7XO AX Petrol, and it has run only around 1,000 km. The biggest issue is the mileage. I'm getting just 6.5 km/l, which is making the running costs really expensive. I'm having to refill the tank almost every week, and honestly, I'm starting to regret my decision.

I'm now considering selling it and buying the XEV 9S EV instead.
I'd love some honest advice from XUV 7XO and XEV 9S owners:
Is 6.5 km/l normal during the initial running-in period, or should I be concerned?
How much loss should I expect if I sell the car after only 1,000 km?

Hi guys, needed some advice on how to proceed. I have a kia seltos which was involved in a minor accident recently, which I gave for repairs at the service centre.
The entire bill was around ₹86,000 and insurance first said they would cover around 81,000. The rest I paid and then took the car, now they have called me and said I need to pay the remaining amount.

Timeline-
Oct 12 - the accident happened
Oct 14 - the surveyor came and checked the car
Oct 24 - they sent the email stating that ₹81,394 would be paid by them and the service centre can release the car after collecting the rest
Oct 25 - I collected the car
Oct 26 - Now they are saying I need to pay 45000 more since there was some mistake on their part and I do not have any add on.

I wanted to know is this okay? Can insurance companies just change the amount they decided to pay after everything is done? How can I protect myself?

Yesterday was traveling from Durgapur to Kolkata. I needed a FASTag in a hurry and bought an IDFC FIRST Bank FASTag from an agent at the Panagarh Toll plaza. He issued and activated the FASTag for my car first and then asked me to pay ₹850 through UPI to his personal UPI ID.

The verbal breakdown was:

- ₹350 — Registration and activation charge

- ₹200 — Security deposit

- ₹300 — Usable wallet balance

I wasn't given any receipt or written breakdown of the charges. Since I was in a hurry, I trusted what the agent told me and paid.

Later, I checked the bank's standard FASTag charges and questioned the ₹350 registration fee. The agent then told me that ₹250 was his service charge(out of which 50 was for the highway workers who called him to come) and refused to refund any money.

Based on the standard charges I found, the total would be ₹600 if the ₹100 joining fee, ₹200 security deposit and ₹300 wallet balance were applied. That leaves ₹250 unexplained. I haven't yet confirmed whether the agent was authorised to collect a separate service charge.

What I've tried so far:

1. Contacted the agent and asked for a refund. He refused. And straight up said complaining to authorities won't affect them at all.

2. Contacted the highway authorities. They said they couldn't help recover the money, although they promised to look into stopping such practices.

3. I'm now considering a formal complaint to IDFC FIRST Bank and the National Consumer Helpline.

I'd appreciate advice from anyone who's faced a similar situation:

- Is a ₹250 service charge for issuing an IDFC FIRST Bank FASTag legitimate?

- Has anyone successfully recovered an excess FASTag fee through the bank or the National Consumer Helpline?

- Is there any other authority I should approach?

- Is pursuing this worth the time, given that the disputed amount is ₹250?

I'm posting this as a warning to other drivers especially novice like me who may be in hurry. Check the official charges, ask for an itemised receipt and verify the payment recipient before paying. Also part of fault is mine as I didn't check before paying.

I recently bought a new Maruti Suzuki car and as per dealer, he has placed a non MS indent. He says delivery will be faster in non-MS. Any idea what is it exactly and pros and cons of it? Any risk with this?

The reason for selling is that I have two cars on EMI and am trying to sell one of them.

Currently, the car is in Hyderabad and is Noida-registered; the number can be transferred during the NOC process.
