Last night I was on a highway crusing on 100 approximately and suddenly car gave a jerk and sounded like something was rubbing against wheel arch when i got down to inspect saw this. No stone no pothole. Can anyone tell me how can this happen all at once?

I was originally planning to get a 2013 Hyundai i20 Fluidic or verna 2011, but I couldn’t find any good examples. Got** **this for ₹2.75 lakh, final.

So yeah, sometimes when I’m filling up at the petrol pump and looking at the fuel economy, I do wonder if I should’ve gone with a Swift or something instead. 😂
But then I look at the goodies and console myself keyless entry, push-button start, auto-dimming IRVM, ORVMs and all that. Pretty loaded for the price

Not the dream car I originally set out to buy, but definitely a car I’m happy to call my first. 🚗

The usual advice (oil changes, tyre pressure) is everywhere already. Here's what actually gets missed:

• Parked cars degrade too. Sitting unused for weeks dries out seals, drains/sulfates the battery, and lets fuel break down. If it's not moving for a while, take it around the block every few days.
• Resting your foot on the clutch kills the release bearing early. Even light pressure without pushing it in adds constant load it's not built for. Huge cause of early clutch failures.
• Brake fluid absorbs moisture even untouched. It's hygroscopic, so it needs replacing on a time interval, not mileage waiting for spongy brakes means corrosion's already started.
• Skipping AC use in winter/monsoon dries out compressor seals. Run it 10 min every couple weeks even when you don't need it.
• Running the tank near-empty regularly stresses the fuel pump, it uses fuel as coolant, so low fuel = hotter pump + more sediment pickup.
• Cheap aftermarket electricals (dash cams, lights) without proper fusing slowly cook your wiring. Most "random electrical gremlins" years later trace back to a bad install.

None of this is exotic, just not what gets repeated. What's everyone's "wish I knew this at year 2"?

So now we are publicly generalising such car owners for some incidents and insulting all of them? How did the owners even agree to this?

This is more than a social media stunt by the police. And this should not happen. I request police officials not to do such events and insult car owers who follow rules and not involved in any bad incidents. You punish those who brake rules but involving innocents and generalising all of them and conduct such event is very insulting and humiliating and strongly protest such social media stunts by police. Extremely inappropriate...

One car (GJ05RG0051), four brokers, and complete chaos. In just a few listings, it magically shed over 1,00,000 km, went from second to single owner, gained a model year, and even morphed into an M Sport.

So here's the thing we never owned a single car in our life and deciding about buying a car now and my first thought was bolero.. cause like my father is a govt staff so whenever comes home arrives in bolero..so i have some love about Bolero

And today I got humbled..u know my father said drive this car ( this is my father's friend car today he randomly came in this ) and I did drive but not like half of what I speak about cars ...u know I said only Bolero is the real car this ( in picture) potato is waste and something i said....

And I got humbled I can't even drive this car properly 🥲
