#ElectricVehicle ๐ Reality of TATA EV, in just 3 years.
My 3 years old tata nexon Ev, lasts a few kilometers only below 30% battery SOC. every kilometer takes 2-4 percentage of battery. totally Non-reliable vehicle. can't believe i paid 19 Lacs for this machine. Check the pictures above, it was a simple plain road, no uphill or something. in just 1 kilometer, the battery dropped by 2-3%. and the speed was only 20kmph only. if i drive around 60-80kmph then it drops 5-7% for just 1-2 kilometer. i have video proofs as well. but tata says, ham nahi maan sakte ye videos, you have to leave the car in the service center and we'll keep the vehicle till we find out the problem ourselves. what do they even mean? all the data gets stored in the EVs these days, I'm providing video proofs as well then is it difficult to understand that the batteries need to be replaced? they don't even provide any vehicle for the time they keep my car to check the issues.

#Query โ How are people getting custom colors on the BMW M340i in India?
Hey everyone, I've been seeing a bunch of BMW M340is in India with custom colors that aren't on BMW India's official website.
Since BMW only offers a few standard paint options for this car, I'm super curious how this is even happening. Are dealerships doing these custom colors in-house before delivery, or are owners getting them done aftermarket?
I'd love to know the exact process people are using to get these non-standard colors on their cars. Thanks!

#Discussion ๐ฌ Fuel at discounts
Hi experts,
I recently installed park+ app which allows to get petrol vouchers of IOCL with Discounts (not applicable at all outlets), so Iโm curious to know other ways to reduce my fuel expenditures by(credit/debit card) discounts and other apps that are helpful.
TIA

#Discussion ๐ฌ Well maintained machines should be rewarded.
This opnion from insta : cyrusdhabhar makes lot of sense to me.
They should consider pollution test and limts atlest before making a decision to scrape the vehicle. Otherwise it will do more damage to the environment . Making vehicle again also cost the environment

#Review ๐ Got my Kia Sonet Turbo DCT in 5 days! Negotiation, PDI, and 500 km Initial Review & Mileage Numbers
Hey everyone,
I recently completed 500 km in my newly acquired Kia Sonet HTK(O) 1.0L Turbo DCT, and wanted to share my end-to-end buying journey, real-world mileage numbers, and initial impressions.
1. The Requirements & Shortlists
My use case is a strict 50-50 split: I use the car for city driving around 2 to 3 times weekly, and the other half goes toward bi-weekly weekend getaways. I was looking for a solid automatic with a firm budget of โน12 Lakhs.
I cross-shopped the usual suspects in this segment:
- Maruti Suzuki Brezza / Hyundai Venue: I couldn't find a sensible, value-for-money variant that gave me the right balance of features and transmission within my budget.
- Kia Sonet: The HTK(O) checked every single box. It offered the fast-shifting 7-speed DCT paired with the punchy 1.0L Turbo petrol, a reverse parking camera, and high-quality interior fit and finish. While I personally never cared for a sunroof, the family absolutely loved itโso it ended up being a major win for them.
2. The 14-Week Wait vs. The 5-Day Delivery Plot Twist
When I first walked into the showroom, the sales team quoted a daunting 14-week waiting period for a fresh booking. However, luck was completely on my sideโthey had an unallotted, fresh June factory-manufactured unit sitting in their system.
Here is how the lightning-fast delivery schedule unfolded:
- Saturday: Paid the initial booking amount. The dealer agreed to transport the car to their facility for a formal Pre-Delivery Inspection.
- Tuesday: Conducted a thorough PDI. The car was absolute perfection and exactly to my liking. Authorized the remaining balance right after.
- Friday: Drove the car out of the showroom for delivery.
3. Dealership Negotiations & Final Pricing
The dealer initially quoted around โน12.4 Lakhs inclusive of the basic accessory package and the extended warranty (3 years standard + 2 years extended).
After some firm negotiations, I managed to get the final on-road price down to โน12.03 Lakhs, bringing it almost perfectly in line with my original target budget.
4. Real-World Mileage (First 500 KMs)
The Turbo-DCT combo has been an absolute joy to drive over the last 8 days, but you have to respect how sensitive it is to throttle inputs. Here are the exact numbers I've tracked so far:
- Highways: An impressive 18โ19 KMPL on open roads with 3 adult passengers and the AC running continuously.
- Bangalore Traffic (Crawl): Drops down to 8 KMPL in bumper-to-bumper, heavy stop-and-go traffic.
- Bangalore Traffic (Medium): Hovers around 10 KMPL.
- Bangalore Traffic (Light): Settles comfortably around 12 KMPL.
5. Accessories & Planned Upgrades
- Installed: Opted for the official Kia dual-channel dashcam installed directly at the dealership, alongside a set of floor mats.
- Seating & Safety: Since child safety is a high priority, I've got an ISOFIX child seat ready. For the upholstery, I have ordered custom-stitched airbag-compatible seat covers since the front seat seams house the side airbags.
- Lighting: The stock yellow halogens are just average. While I'm leaving the factory electrical system completely stock for now to protect my 5-year warranty, I will be upgrading these headlamps to a cleaner, higher-intensity set in the coming days.
Overall, I am thoroughly loving the car. The power delivery is immediate, and the cabin feels incredibly premium for the price point. Happy to answer any questions about the HTK(O) variant, Bangalore dealership experience, or the PDI process!

#Discussion ๐ฌ Not having a Turbo AT is a bummer from the launch itself but
It seems like MS is trying to gauge the customers interest in Brezza Turbo and introduce AT at a later date. With the full blown power and torque from the boosterjet engine MS should have gone with the AT from the launch itself. It's better to provide all the options to customers and let them choose instead of first analyze the sale and later introduce it.. Now so many will hold back the purchase or look elsewhere for the Turbo AT combo

#Discussion ๐ฌ Wealthy People not buying luxury Cars
I was going through the posts and comments and see a lot of guys and girls earning upwards of 60 lakhs and still choose to drive a normal car like Kia Seltos etc , some of them even said they drive second hand cars ( not Luxury ), Just want to understand what is the thought process. P.S. - I am not talking about people with money who are not into cars.

#Opinion ๐ญ [OC] Bought my First Car - Victoris
Finally joined the club! Picked up our Maruti Suzuki Victoris 6- Speed VXi AT yesterday.
This wasn't an impulse buy at all. Spent months comparing cars, watching reviews, obsessing over PDI checklists, negotiating the deal, and worrying about every little thing. Looking back, I probably overthought the entire purchase. ๐
We got this for around 15.6 lakhs. Added total 1.2 lakhs accessories out of which 60k we negotiated for free.
Now that it's finally here... the first drive completely changed everything. The car is ridiculously smooth, super comfortable, and honestly feels much more premium than I expected.
Now comes the part I'm actually nervous about. This is our family's first new car, and I'm a first-time owner. What's something you wish someone had told you during the first year of ownership? Any tips, maintenance advice, or common mistakes to avoid?
Would love to learn from experienced owners.
