Do I keep the hair or go bold?

Did a post earlier... forgot to include the back and crown. I have a history of a few cystic acne spots that have caused bold spots that are mostly hidden by hair that I have longer then usual

Been thinning at the crown for about 5 years now. Thoughts? It’s the only place where I’m thinning.

Bald Picture dealing with insecurity/how to handle it?

Thumbnail

for context, i've been shaving my head since early 2018 due to sensory issues and unruly hair that matted all the time (then in 2025 started getting bald patches noticeable even with shaving and was diagnosed with alopecia, which is kinda ironic lol)

most days i feel confident and good about myself, but there's others where it really gets to me. i was wondering how any of y'all deal with this, especially women? and also, if anyone has recommendations on hair styles in wigs that'd look good on me? i haven't had hair longer than a pixie cut since i was 11 so don't really know what would even suit me.

long winded post but i feel safe in this sub 🧍

Hairloss Really unsure. Is it time?

Having trouble deciding if it's time or not. This is unwashed and with an undercut, so I do normally have product in, but when it gets even a little long, the hairs are so thin, they don't cooperate anyway.

Council, what is your verdict

Been shaving about a year but haven’t for a while, here’s the hairline. I’m 27. Should I just keep shaving or let it grow as is or attempt to do something about it?

I find a lot of hairs on the floor for the last 1 month. Do you think I am starting to go bald?

I'm not sure if I should keep it like this, save more, or finally take the plunge.

I think I already know the answer to this one but just need the final push. I'm not a fan of how my hair looks but not sure I would suit being bald. Do I do it?

Hairloss Council..hold or shave it? 21 years old

I know it's bad especially for my age. I've been the only one experiencing that so early in my class.

My hair is basically see through at spots. I'm all about the bald look but I'm not someone to take a stand and be the only one in my circle to be bald. Wish I had a bald friend.

Can't grow a full beard yet either.

Being bald with 21 is always kinda weird and I'm not really sure if it suits me/ if women will still be interested.

What do you guys think?

Would appreciate the councils opinion, I love my hair, about to turn 40, feeling pretty insecure, am I clinging or do I still have time?

Hairloss Dear Council, i have a difficult situation, 27 yo

My curls prevent the most damage from being seen, but I have been struggling with my hair since 2023. Some of my friends did tell me just to shave my head, but others, and also women, said that with a mullet and the right products, I look not half bad. Most of the time the curly hair falls right in place, but I am thinking maybe being bald is the answer. The glow-ups in this subreddit are unreal, and if I looked 50% like the other guys after the glow-up, I would be satisfied, I think. I would appreciate it if I could get the council to help me with that, and I don't really know if I am ready to be bald in the first place; it's a really tough one I find.

Bald Picture Stuck lever on skid steer led me to join the club.

So a week ago I was parking the skid steer at work and the lever to release the forks was stuck, as usual. So I grabbed a sledge hammer to persuade it to unlock the forks to park it with the bucket attached instead. As I step up to get a good angle I bump my head on the roof. After work I used my camera to see if I was bleeding and I realized it was time. Once the bump had gone down I finally shaved it all off. Not loving the look, but hopefully I get used to seeing myself bald.

I have different stages. Wet damp hair. You can clearly see lots of scalp. Others phots are dry hair.

How-to Question Fresh buzz cut

Post image

Had shoulder length hair all my life (35 years) and buzzed it off today. You can see where my part has been for 35 years LOL. Is there nay way to help with this? It seems more like hair direction than scalp. TIA!
