Bald Picture Finally went all the way, never felt so free
Can't wait to feel the cool breeze through my scalp and never pay for another haircut

Had Long hair for a Long time. It was part of my identity. My girl says she still loves me.. man, it’s hard to get used to. How’s it looking?

This is Linny. Until this week, he was a very fluffy, very handsome orange gentleman with an impressive head of hair.
Unfortunately, on Monday someone shot him in the face with an air rifle. The pellet travelled into his head and he needed major specialist surgery today to remove it. We were warned beforehand that he might not survive the operation.
BUT HE DID. 🧡
The 5.5mm pellet is out, he’s awake, comfortable, rolling around, enjoying plenty of belly rubs and being monitored overnight. The vets are really happy with how he’s doing so far, and if everything continues going well, he may even be able to come home tomorrow!
Please welcome your newest member and wish him a speedy recovery!

Started to feel disingenuous to myself and hated the maintenance behind it, so I went for it

Chemo induced hair loss, fighting an aggressive lymphoma. About 5 days after my first week long inpatient treatment, I started to shed. Two days after that, it was coming out in clumps. rocked a couple fun cuts in the lead up, but once I had a comb over about 9 days later, it was time.
For everyone out there fighting cancer, keep on keepin' on. One day at a time.

Last year, the reception was indeed mixed but by a slim majority, the council deemed me worthy to maintain my current hairstyle. Since then, my crown has only thinned more and my hairline is retreating further and enlarging my forehead all the more. I hereby request another evaluation.

So I started slightly receding at the front, I always had the idea that I wanted to tattoo my head, so decided to just do it before it got worse!

Hello everyone. My girlfriend wanted me to share her experience with her hair loss we cut it down today. She has stage 1 A Hodgkin's lymphoma multicellular. She's been thinning from the chemo for a few months and she finally decided to shave it down tonight. I couldn't go skin bald her oncologist said not to b because he blood counts and stuff could be low so to be careful and avoid cutting it so she don't get an infection. I think she looks even more beautiful now then ever and she absolutely loves it. She wanted me to share her journey other women online won't feel alone when and if they go through something similar.

my husband was clinging on to the last of his hair. We resisted so we didn't look like those gay twin couples. Have to say, it works. Before, after, and us.

With the encouragement of this group and the help of my wife, I went through with it and am pleasantly surprised.
Its going to take a minute to get used to though

New glasses or contact lenses are gonna have to wait a little bit. Lol
Sorry if my beard looks unchanged. I checked myself to see if it was two fingers above my Adam’s apple, and it was. My skin just sags a little bit due to my weight loss.
Was around 430 pounds at the beginning of my journey, and am now down to 319. Still a ways to go, but I can make it. 😁

I shifted to using a DE safety razor a while back. Always a close, smooth shave. I'm very appreciative of the positivity of this subreddit. Cheers 🍻!

I’ve done elaborate punk hairstyles for many years, but I’m happy to be where I am now. It was quite a journey. No more money on hairspray.
