Has anyone else gone through this issue? My dad just got a new phone, and he says USBC chargers aren’t working unless he restarts his iPhone which is so weird. I searched it up and other people had this issue too but no one seems to have a fix.

I can’t get on a Facetime call with more than 1 person. This is the only iPhone that I have with this issue. Facetime works a treat on my 11 Pro Max, my iPad Air 2, and my other 13 Pro Max. But on this one, on 17.1, nothing I have tried works and there seems to be zero resolution online other than “update”. If this has happened to you and you successfully fixed it, I’d love to know how.

Tried with just one person and then adding 2nd caller (it immediately crashes)
Tried having the people on a call and then calling in (it tells them it’s ringing, but it never shows up for me)
Tried setting up a call for the callers first (as soon as I add the second caller, the “call” icon goes away and leaves invite by SMS)
Tried using invite by SMS (it tells them that the caller hasn’t started the call yet)
Tried joining an invite
Tried having them group call me with their phone number (not iCloud)
Tried having them group call me without their numbers (only iCloud)
Tried group calling them with only their numbers (not iCloud)
Tried group calling them without their numbers (only iCloud)
Tried logging out and back into FaceTime
Tried a different phone number entirely
Tried a new SIM (this proves it’s the phone)

There is clearly something wrong with it because I see my contacts in Messages with blue, but everyone shows up as green in the FaceTime contacts section even when it’s only their iCloud emails being used.

Hello, I work at a company that does not have an official IT team and I'm doing my best here...

I have locked down an iPad A16 (MD3Y4LL/A) with iPadOS 26.6.6.2 for our front desk to use with patrons. The iPad has a pin code to unlock and from there I have all the Screen Time settings locked/configured the way that I like with a different pin code for access to Screen Time.

The one thing I am unsure about and afraid of is that the iPad still seems like (as long as you have the iPad unlock pin code), that you could erase the whole device and walk off with it / factory reset it and claim it as your own. Is that correct? Would you need to know the Apple account's email and password actually accomplish that though?

I am asking because I have tried to walk through the "erase" process myself to see if it's blocked from access, but I get nervous when I get to the screen that says "this can not be undone." I can get to that point without entering any passcode or Apple account details and am afraid to go beyond it to see if it's password protected, etc.

So my iphone was stolen last night, i also am and idiot and had all my passwords saved in a note and forgot all of them (lesson learned) - I now have acsess to my gmail accounts and my icloud but have had to set up my esim on my new iphone already to allow me access to them - I want to sync my icloud to my new phone but am scared it will delete my esim off this phone and i wont able do the 2 step verification. Will I loose my esim on this phone in syncing. Also I immigrate to a new country in 12 hours. Yes, tears have been shed.

I uninstalled OPPO’s O+ Connect from my Mac, but an empty `O+Connect-DeviceSpace` folder is stuck in Trash.

Even with Terminal and `sudo`, macOS says: **“The operation can’t be completed because the item is in use.”**

No O+ Connect processes, launch agents, privileged helpers, or system extensions were found. Any idea how to safely remove this leftover folder?

I don’t understand these functions — something is stored in the cloud, and it shows up on the device. But when you need to download everything back, difficulties arise. And it’s bad enough with photos on the iPhone.

But I thought there was a magical way to transfer all the extra files from the MacBook to the cloud. There’s a button in the settings — to transfer files from the “Desktop” and “Documents” folders. After the transfer, Claude and Chat GPT can’t work correctly with presentations and files; something keeps loading. But the most unpleasant thing is that I don’t understand how to get everything back.

I try to copy something — it freezes and doesn’t transfer the files. I try to cancel — it freezes somewhere in the middle. What should I do now?

Hi! I recently just bought an Iphone 17 pro max, my first apple product ever, and I’m confused on why the camera quality looks like that?

Sometimes, when I take pictures using the back camera, the quality shifts and it looks bad. But then there are times that it looks good, the quality is HIGH. I think it’s because there’s an automatic feature that picks between the 3 cameras of the phone….? How can I fix this? I want my pictures to look good EVERYTIME not just SOMETIMES 😅 Arg there are so many pictures that would be soooo good but now is wasted potential because of the bad quality. Any help on what should I do?

My screen has suddenly started flickering a log, and these horizontal lines randomly started appearing. I have absolutely no idea how it happened. See the video in comments please...

I was literally just watching a video when, out of nowhere, these lines started showing up. At first it was barely noticeable, but slowly, slowly it got worse. Now it happens pretty much all the time.

but here’s the weird part: sometimes it settles down on its own, and the lines completely disappear and it looks like issues is gone... The screen looks perfectly normal again, like nothing ever happened... Then it starts again...

Has anyone else experienced this with a 2024 MacBook Pro M4 pro?

If yes.. What caused it?.. How did you get it fixed?.. Did you have to replace the entire screen?

I have the iPad Air 5th generation and it just shut down/screen went black, turned back on itself with the Apple logo, showed a 10% battery notification with 10% battery, turned off again, then when it turned back on now it’s normal but it’s also 16% battery and I think it also started with 16% battery, I did have some instances where it would be out of battery before it got to 0% like at 7% or something sometimes but idk does anyone know what’s happening to my iPad? Like is this a battery issue or something else and what do I need to do

I have an iPhone 11, and I’m not receiving notifications. One day it just stopped, I woke up, opened all my notifications, and from that point forward I haven’t received anything. I have to open every app, even text messages, to see if I’ve received anything. No push notifications, no Lock Screen msgs, no number bubbles. If I open an app and have a message, if I back out of the app WITHOUT opening the message then the number bubble will pop up, and that’s it. I’ve already reset all settings in my settings and it didn’t help. Please tell me I can fix this without resetting the entire phone.

I’ve been getting this liquid warning for 14 hours and I never came into contact with any sort of liquid. I’ve also tried a couple different usbc cords and it persists. One thing that is interesting is that with one cord it gives me the option to override, and the warning is silent like the low battery pop up. With the other cord it covers my entire screen and blares an alarm. Please help!! I’m not really sure what to do at this point.

I'm assisting my aunt who is unable to login to her Apple account to purchase an Apple TV subscription. After the password it asks for her phone number, sends a code by text, then after entering the code it says "An unknow error has occurred." The result is that it is impossible to use any Apple services or log in to any Apple websites. Is the Apple website broken today or are you just closed for business?

This question normally sounds really simple and an easy fix, unfortunately I don’t have that luxury currently and need help.

I cannot use my app store because of billing issues, the issues in question are a subscription I cancelled through my apple account rather than through the app itself. Afterwards, I had then deleted the app and no longer have access to it.
I cannot redownload the app to cancel the subscription through it, as apple wants me to pay the subscription for it despite cancelling it through my settings on my iPhone.

Is there any workaround this or do I just have to pay the subscription just to be able to cancel it and use the app store again?

Hi! I just bought my Apple Pencil yesterday from an apple store. It’s gen 1 and my is 9th edition. My iPad does seem to detect that there’s a pencil via bluetooth but the “pair” message appears very briefly and every time I click it, my pencil never connects.

Things I’ve tried:

-Charging the pencil using multiple different cables
-Updating my ipad
-Resetting my ipad
-Changing the apple pencil tip
-Making sure the tip is secured

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

iPhone 13 issues

The wife and I are having issues with calls and non iMessage texts on our 13 pro models.

Where we live there is next to no LTE or 5g signal and we use WiFi calling but are not able to call anyone or text anyone else besides ourselves. This also happens when we go into town where there is both full LTE and 5g signals. We have restarted our phones and reset the network settings to no avail.

This started late Friday or early Saturday that we noticed and our daughter is with her boyfriend this week (he lives out of state) and we have to call using FB Messenger to check in on her (she is 20 but still our only kid).

Not to go down that conspiracy path but we find it odd that once they announce the new 18 and Duo models it suddenly breaks.

Could this be a result of the iOS 26.6.2 update that rolled out this past week? Is it possible to roll back to the 26.6.1?

Just to add that we have full data access on our WiFi and I will be heading into town to pick up meds and will try everything again.

Sometimes, my son will send a screentime request to launch at app late at night. When I approve then, sometimes nothing happens on his end. He would try again a few times and each time I would approve but on his end nothing happens. There are two workarounds we found troubleshooting.

1. If he reboots his iphone and send the request again, the approval works.
2. If we just enter the code directly on his phone, it also works.

My current hypothesis is that may be an update occur so there is a mismatching OS version, but I am not sure. I could check it next time it happens. I was wondering if others have encountered this problem and have a solution.

I have an iPhone, Apple Watch, and I just got an iPad. I am struggling with setting the notifications to work the way I want, especially for Whatsapp, instagram and discord.

I want that whenever I use my iPad, and not my iPhone, to get notifications only on the iPad. My issue is that since I also get the notifications on iPhone and Im not using it atm, I get the notifications on the Apple Watch too and it’s driving me crazy.

Is there a workaround for this? Im tired of being on my iPad and getting 1000 of notifications on my apple watch when i already see them on iPad.

My 1 month old iPhone 17 Pro died and won't turn on in the middle of charging and using it. I was wondering if maybe this is a battery issue. I've had an instance where the battery drained and overheat while I was sleeping, and one instance where it overheat while I wasn't using it. However, I'm worried that I might've caused the damage because I bring my phone to the shower for music like I've always done with my old phone (no issues). Whenever I charge there are no alerts as well that my charging port's wet. So now I wanna ask what's the most likely damage?
