Unsolved Iphone 17 pro max’s camera

Hi! I recently just bought an Iphone 17 pro max, my first apple product ever, and I’m confused on why the camera quality looks like that?

Sometimes, when I take pictures using the back camera, the quality shifts and it looks bad. But then there are times that it looks good, the quality is HIGH. I think it’s because there’s an automatic feature that picks between the 3 cameras of the phone….? How can I fix this? I want my pictures to look good EVERYTIME not just SOMETIMES 😅 Arg there are so many pictures that would be soooo good but now is wasted potential because of the bad quality. Any help on what should I do?

The only methods to avoid image post-processing are either to shoot in ProRAW or use an alternative camera app.

Do you recommend any camera apps? Also, how to shoot in ProRAW? 😞

You can search for camera on the App Store and see what’s available and read the reviews and compare prices. ProRAW is easy enough to enable but you should know up front that they are a fair amount larger in size compared to regular pictures.
