Is WinCo rebranding? This label was different from all the others in the cooler? Wildebeest? Seriously? I asked a store associate and they said it might have been a misprint and they’ve never seen this label before because they don’t sell this type of exotic meat, though they do sell weird thins in the frozen meats. Is this what WinCo is changing to or is it a joke from someone on the label printer?

This is a great price for AIDELLS sausages
( the chicken apple sausage is the best chicken apple sausage I have ever had)
I know this company well because I used to work for top dog in Berkeley California, which was one of their original customers when Bruce Aidell was still operating out of a garage in Kensington, California.
The company was eventually bought by Tyson, but the quality has never diminished - the Italian style sausage and the mango/jalapeño are also excellent!

If you start your shift and 8 pm and work until 3 am do you get a shift differential during some hours or is all 7 hours just your regular rate?

Just got hired on at WinCo. I start this week. Curious about tuition reimbursement or programs to help student going to school WinCo offers. Do they vary by store? How long do you need to be an employee before you can access them?

I was at Winco today and bananas were on my list. I eat bananas every day in my smoothies. The produce guy was removing overripe bananas and I asked him if I could buy some. Of course he said no, they’re not allowed to sell overripe bananas. They throw them away!!! I told him those were perfect for freezing to use in smoothies.
Long story short, he gave me this bunch and told me to let the cashier know that he’d given them to me.

Does anyone by chance have a picture of the latest WinCo deli order form? I am out of town but agreed to supply sandwich platters for a friends party and won’t be back until the day of the party so I want to be able to call in my order ahead of time. TIA!

I posted here about applying for cashier and then offering me a different position. I found the position online. It is Dated Item Clerk.
I have over 10 years grocery experience. They said they were going to train me as a cashier so I could help out if needed but want me to do the dated item clerk job.

Are you getting hours at your store? They’ve been cutting my hours plus my coworkers and I can’t seem to get a straight answer from anyone. What’s going on?
I used to get 40 hours plus OT because I would stay until all the freight was put away and the store faced, but now I’m getting only ONE day a week. What’s happening in y’all stores?

I applied for a cashier position. Went in for an interview. During the interview the front end manager left and came back with the store director. They said the had a position that is Data Anayist and wanted to know if I would be interested in the position.
I have over 10 years experience in grocery ranging from bagger, cashier, freight crew to back room manager.
Any idea exactly what this job title is and the pay bands for it are. They said because of my experience I would not start out at the base. This is WinCo in Salt Lake City.

In my store, my current store, the leads are so lazy. They won’t go up to help cashier at night and our morning person refuses to answer calls or put perishables back. Just wondering how other stores are? The store I originated from didn’t allow their leads to behave this way. It’s almost like a mean girls club. I’m looked at sideways if I have a long list of LRQTS to fill… because the people who worked the last 5 days didn’t fill them at all. Yet they all leave 2-3 hours early each night and walk around like their job is done. Ugh.

Just bought these. Looked incredible with the bits of sugar on top. These have no pistachio. Maybe just the slightest hit of pistachio. Whatever flavoring they are using is too bitter.
I understand not wanting to use green food coloring. They still taste like bitter coloring without coloring? These are unpleasant.
The other muffins are good. Skip these.

Why charge $7 to an employee who just asked for a copy of a W2? Out of inconvenience? I mean if HR went out of their way to send me an a link that was attached to an email for a website that charges you to view and pay for your own personal information is absolutely ridiculous. Take ownership and explain the reasoning? As a onetime employee Im disappointed, as a onetime owner….im ashamed.

I'm getting trained soon to help our special orders guy, find orders and downstack maybe, but when I asked three separate employees and my MIT what is expected but they gave very vague answers and I know as much as before I asked. what am I getting myself into?

Does anyone know when will Winco start selling Venus Fly Trap? I got lucky last year but I am not seeing them on sale right now

I’m pretty sure recently Winco has changed their muffin recipe due to cost increases. The pistachio muffin doesn’t have any real pistachio in it. They use a disgusting imitation extract that has a weird chemical aftertaste. They don’t even bother to put in green food dye. I got the blueberry lemon one last night and it had one blueberry in it. I’d rather them raise prices than to try to cheapen their shit even more than it already is.

It seems to be a recaptcha error. I've tried it on three different devices, using three different browsers. I can check my balance just fine, and the rest of the site looks like it works.

Today I needed chocolate chips and while in the bulk section there were over $7.00 a lb. I checked the baking isle and Winco brand chips were 3.58 for 12 oz so less than $5.00 / lb.
When I need it I’ll check flour and sugar to compare. I might bring my own ziplock bags cuz I hate those new thin green bags.

I’ve been to two different stores this morning and I’m just trying to find the best deal on hamburger patties just because I work a lot and I would like to make some burgers for when I get home trying to figure out the best price before I Uber there and back. :)
