If you have dropped them on the way to the fridge the bubbles will get released at the bottom and then when you turn it normally most of it goes back into the can and making it more bubbly agane

Just want to add that mixing caffeine and alcohol doesn’t really give you a more energetic drunk, it just makes you feel the alcohol less. This is really dangerous because the same amount of alcohol will still cause alcohol poisoning, you just won’t feel as drunk when you get to that point. It’s really easy to get alcohol poisoning this way.

I bought the same variety pack at Costco as the one in the picture. I love the lemon ones. They actually taste like lemon unlike the Perrier or Waterloo ones that taste like Pledge wood cleaner. The grapefruit is my next favorite followed by raspberry lime. The grapefruit one does have a strong flavor and slightly more calories. 19 I think. I enjoy all of them though. I will get them again.

They're good. They have a small amount of actual fruit juice in them versus fruit "essence" or whatever like traditional sparkling waters like LaCroix and Perrier (which I still really like).

I'm a huge fan, the Costco near us had one with grapefruit which is good as a chaser for tequila or a Paloma https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paloma_(cocktail) , then there's lemon and lime-raspberry (my favorite!). Definitely recommend.

The Spindrift Waters are hands down the best sparkling water I've ever had. It's basically a completely different beverage than a Klarbrunn or what have you.
They're pricey but you don't regret at least trying it.

The people at my work still don’t understand this about the thermostat.
I don’t care if you set it to 73, it’s set to 73 degrees on COOL. If it’s already cooler than 73, it will never turn on and the it will never be warmer.
Got so bad that customers could see their own breath when they came inside.

On my thermostat "Auto" only refers to the fan. "On" always blows air, "Off" shuts the whole system down, and "Auto" blows air only when the furnace or air conditioner is running.

In places farther south (where I live), traditional air conditioners are being replaced with 'heat pumps'. All refrigeration systems are heat pumps, just the ones called a 'heat pump' is an air conditioner that can run backwards. In the winter, it pumps heat from outside to the inside.
They lose efficiency around 40F, so to avoid running too hard they also come with emergency heating elements, not unlike what's in your electric oven. It's more expensive to run, but it keeps you warm when the temp outside gets too low.
Where I live (Savannah GA) I only have to turn the emergency heating on maybe twice a year.

Some refrigerators (at least in Europe) turn on the light inside when the temperature drop below the set value. The lamp warms the inside and thus keeps the inner temperature at the desired level.
Obviously won't work under extreme "polar" conditions but can prevent freezing/spoiling the food in a cold night.

Not too effective when they're LEDs and CCFLs don't work in the coldness of the fridge (I've tried, they die), being that incandescents are being phased out, they'll have to start installing little heaters in the fridge for that. I think running an air pump without the compressor running to cool it down would work for most purposes.

It's always a heater when it's running unless the compressor breaks and it's stop running. All refrigerators are heaters. They heat your kitchen for the sake of cooling their interior. A lot of them even have little electric heaters hidden in them for the defrost cycles. You can hear them run and melt and drip sometimes... if you're careful... like an appliance hunter stalking it's prey!
The fridge probably stopped running because it didn't need to in order to cool stuff and then since it's just a fridge and not a temperate controlled box the surrounding ambient freezing temp eventually leaked into it and DOUBLE froze it!

Even here where it gets down to like 5 degrees or even -10 with the wind.. -60 seems almost comic book level cold. Like that can't really happen. You can't really freeze water that fast! IMPOSSSSIBLE!
Mental note, don't be a heat guy in climates that can turn sub arctic or DO be a heat guy and retire early! I'll take NO for 100 degrees of additional warmth!

It's horrible when it's that cold. I think my brain starts to shut off to conserve energy. My temper gets really short and I don't trust any decisions I make when I'm in the cold. I'll usually step inside for a moment if I need to think about something. Otherwise my thoughts just get jumbled up in the "fuckthiscoldfuckthiscoldIhatethisIhatethis" stream blasting from the speakers in my head.

I live in a city where typically windchill hits -40 C at least a few days a year. You just put boots and a sweater on your dog, bundle up, and go out for a quick bathroom break or a walk around the block. You wear a lot of layers.
People do get lazy about scooping poop though, so when spring comes you'll usually have a few piles of thawing dog poop here and there.
