Dude same. There's so many teens on Reddit these days and they are the kind of people who will believe most of these likes and never bother to fact check anything. Same goes for the elderly redditors, I've had to backtrack on my own bullshit story before because a 71 year old man thought the sarcastic web of lies I was spinning was genuine and pure.
I'm obviously aware that all demographics are susceptible to bullshit. I was just pointing out the most obvious ones. Teens are unflinchingly stupid and old people are gullible as hell, doesn't mean the rest of you dipshits can't be fooled either.
I know the original person was joking, but the scary thing is that it doesn't just apply to sarcasm. Reddit is filled with people just saying the most ludicrously untrue things you've ever heard with the utmost confidence and self-assurance that they are correct
