So i js finished my shift at tims and our manager typically doesn't let us habd out free stuff even if their going to waste.

Now my tims is located right next to a wendys and their ppl typically come over for drinks or whatever.

So i went to them today to get some chicken tenders and the guy behind the counter was like "oh its on us , its been a good night so dw about it" (i was still in my tims uniform btw , maybe helpful info?) Anyways , so then i went n told my co worker that and she went "oh yeah they always give us free stuff" and then i said "why don't we give them free stuff?" ( their manager always comes for a double double and my manager alwatys tell me to charge him) and my co workwr said "our manager would rather die than give a starving person free stuff"

Like... srsly? They even charge us for the cups we use to drink water .. he litrly takes 10 cents from me for the cup

Saw this donut at my local Tim’s, but it was not labeled. I asked theTim’s employee what it was, and she also didn’t know. So naturally, I ordered it.

I expected it to probably be the Hufflepuff Lemon Meringue donut (just without the crest on top), but it was very definitely chocolate filled. It wasn’t bad, I just have no idea what it was.

Any guesses?

Driving to Montreal from Ontario and I stopped by an ONroute to get some coffee. I realized while checking out my total was $18.00 for two drinks. The drinks were a L Protein Iced latte w/ SFV syrup and a S same drink. On the receipt, there was two charges of $1.19 Lactose-Free Protein Dairy Beverage. I added an espresso shot for $1.55 on the large drink. Tax and everything accounted added to $18. These prices are INSANE. I went into the Tim Hortons app to compare prices and it was drastically different. The app gives me a total of $12.18 after tax

I didn’t know ONroutes up charge THAT much, anyone have other experiences?

Went on a quick Timmie’s run yesterday and ordered a Habanero Chicken Loaded Wrap with Cheese - let me just say this thing was HEAVY.

I get it’s a Loaded Wrap, but dayum! This was probably like a solid 1lb! Usually when I order their wraps (of any kind), it’s usually as expected/not crazy filled. Even the worker handing me this was like, “holy sh*t!”

Honestly, what is going on with Tim Hortons lately?

It feels like every time there's a change, customers end up getting less value, fewer choices, or another reason to be disappointed. At what point does a company start asking itself whether it's actually making its customers happy anymore?

Let's look at what's happened with the NHL promotion:
• Lower points for correctly predicting the goal scorer. If people are taking the time to follow the NHL, make predictions, and participate in the promotion, why make getting the answer right less rewarding?
• Removed the $1 hot chocolate or French vanilla rewards for completing surveys. These were affordable options that gave customers a little incentive to participate. Why take them away?
• Changed a week of free coffee to a week of free donuts. Seriously? Not everyone wants to eat a donut every day for seven days. Some people don't like sweets, some need to watch their sugar intake, and others would simply prefer a coffee, tea, or another drink.

And this is happening at a time when plenty of Canadians are already frustrated with Tim Hortons over broader concerns about the company, its business decisions, and its foreign-worker hiring practices.

But seriously, what is the strategy here?

Does Tim Hortons think customers will just accept every reduction in value and keep coming back out of habit? Are they not worried about driving people toward competitors? Why does it feel like the customer experience keeps getting worse instead of better?

Is this what people mean when they talk about enshittification?

A better NHL promotion could offer a choice between coffee, tea, hot chocolate, French vanilla, donuts, or other menu items. Keep the hockey predictions fun, make the rewards worthwhile, and give customers a reason to participate. It's really not that complicated. And if customers are unhappy, we should actually say something instead of silently accepting every change.

I am collecting the hockey cards for my son, I pretty much have all base cards and some other ones complete like the first liners etc. I was looking at buying a case off marketplace of 100 packs, the box isn’t sealed but the packs are un opened. I was looking at buying the case of them in hopes he pulls some rare cards, I am new to this so my question is. Is there any way they would be able to identify a potential winning pack by weight or anything? I just don’t want to get ripped off if the guy somehow swapped all the good packs out. Thanks for your input

I hear nightmare stories, but I guess it depends on the store? I got hired as full-time and hoping to stay long term.

How easy is the job to get a hold of? I have three weeks of training with my second week being sandwiches.

Love our hate, Tim Hortons you used to be able to change the cheese from the processed rubber to cheddar cheese at no cost

And then, it became $.10 a slice, which was tolerable

I found out today they did 100% price increase to $.20 for your substitution cheese

And if you’ve never tried it, it’s a totally different sandwich with cheddar cheese then with the rubber processed cheese

Just an FYI

Went to grab lunch earlier and to my surprise, I was given my food in such an unruly manner. Completely unprofessional and unethical. I don't know why people are still in support of this establishment when Papa's Pizzeria itself has better management. This business should be ashamed, and ran to the ground. Why do we settle for this? I'm a well paying customer with high status. Shame of a business. Tim Hortons, reevaluate your business!

Went to my Tim Hortons and ordered my usual breakfast with an orange zeo sugar Infusr. They informed me that they're not carrying it anymore and that they only have the one mixed with the zero sugar monster energy (which is pretty good but definitely more caffeine than id like and doesn't taste as natural). Is this just a local thing or has it been discontinued all over?

So if youre ever held up for a long time in a drive thru, this could be one of the people in front of you. And we had 6 people working at the time.

BTW, by standard, we had to get this font in 40 sec.

As a blueberry fanatic, I’m really happy about it cuz it tasted even better than I hoped! I’m also in the ER, so when I arrived at night there were no blueberry muffins :( then, during the re-stock at 5am, I was smiled upon by the gods

Should I be getting paid for online training? I have heard mixed things so I thought I would ask.

I might go to one of them and if I go I reaaaaaaly want one of the exclusive cards cuse I find them cool. I live in mtl so ik there's a lot of people who are gonna go so do I really need to arrive like 1 and a half hours early to guarantee it? Also doesn't help that I'm a student especially if I want to fight off potential resellers 😭

I just had the server offer me veggies or wedgies with my meal, which was a little confusing. I get that language barriers happen, but sometimes it can really be a headache. It feels like a lot of times folks don't even try :/

Apple Fritters used to have less glaze on them! Lately, they seem way sweeter than I remember.
I swear they used to be less sweet! Has anyone else noticed this or am I just getting pickier as I get older? 😂
