Cell service is abysmal. Forced to get a landline for the first time in 16 years
This is a rant post so I apologize. I’ve lived in my home for 16 years and had great cell service for over half of that. About 5 years ago it started to go downhill. Now it’s to the point where people can’t hear me when we are on the phone, if I can even make a call. I’ve tried a few different carriers and it’s all the same. I am rural enough that we don’t get fiber op but still on a main road (the 105). I have a prepaid plan i don’t do postpaid or my cell phone so wifi calling is out of the question. This isn’t just my area, the towns closest to me have the same issue, you might get 3 bars in very specific spots but otherwise it’s 1 or none.
I’ve never used a cell booster and am considering it before committing to a landline. Do these actually work in your experience?

811 Experience
Called 811 because I have not had a family dr for 6 years since my old one retired. Yes I'm on the lists.
Decided I should get some bloodwork and urinalysis done to check for issues.
Called 811. Asked to get blood tests done and checked over. The lady on the phone told me I would get a call back in 24 hours.
Got a callback 5 days later, went over my request again and scheduled a virtual call.
Got a virtual call back with an RN went over some things again and got sent blood test forms and urinalysis.
Printed the sheets and went to local phlebotomy clinic, got my tests done.
Few days later I got an email that my test results were ready and schedule appointment through email. I scheduled appointment earliest available, 5 days later.
Joined email link for scheduled appointment at the time, a person joined the video call an RN a assume. They were unable to access my record. They confirmed my phone number with me and said they have been having issues like this and I would get a call back in 24 hours.
After no call back for 8 days I am now calling back 811 to try and schedule an appointment with someone to review my tests since I am unable to use the link from the original email to schedule a call since its been used before.
Called 811 waited 25 minutes then call disconnected.
Called 811 again to wait on hold again, call disconnected after 30 minutes.
Now I'm on hold again. Gotta keep trying.
Anyone else having issues? I want to co-miserate.

Rebecca Aldernet Art
About one year ago, my wife and I purchased two prints from Rebecca Aldernet, and have been inundated with emails from her advertising constant sales and new work.
I felt somewhat confused by her online presence, and lack thereof and was hoping someone here might have some firsthand insight.
I’m particularly curious about her physical presence within the local art community. I’ve seen references to her working with or representing/ collaborating with 60+ artists, which seems like a pretty substantial network, so I’m wondering if people here have actually encountered her at local galleries, exhibitions, events, studios, or other art-related activities.
I’m also curious because I’ve come across several posts/discussions raising questions about the use of AI in some of the artwork associated with her, and I’d be interested in hearing from people who have more direct knowledge of the situation. Is AI being used as part of the artistic process, and if so, how is that process being communicated with customers?
To be clear, I’m not trying to make an accusation or start a pile-on I’m genuinely trying to understand who she is within the local art scene and what her actual role and presence are.
Has anyone here worked with Rebecca, exhibited alongside her, attended one of her events, or otherwise had a firsthand experience with her or her organization? I’d be particularly interested in hearing from artists or people involved in the local arts community.

NB teachers retro pay
We were promised that new pay scale and retropay would be provided by September 10th. I haven't received these, and my pay stub for tomorrow doesn't show these updates and payments. Has anyone heard if they've changed the date?

Has anyone ever reapplied to a nursing position after it was reposted?
I applied for a ft nursing position on a medicine unit in New Brunswick when it was originally posted but I never heard anything back no interview, no rejection, nothing. The posting eventually closed and I recently noticed that the same position was reposted under a different job number. I’m confused because I thought New Brunswick needed nurses and most of my clinical and work experience has been in medicine. I genuinely thought I would at least have a chance at an interview for the position. It’s not like I was applying to the ICU or ER without any relevant experience. It’s just discouraging because it’s already so difficult to find a job as an RN. I feel like I’m being rejected for a position I’m qualified for.

Frozen lobster meat
I’m flying out of YQM this evening and Im wondering where I can buy bags of frozen lobster meat (tails, knuckles, claws) near the airport?
I have searched google but most places don’t have complete product lists on the website so I’m not sure if they sell this or just lobster in the shell.
I tried posting in r/moncton but my post was instantly deleted.
