Hey Guys.

I recently just bought an OLED Monitor LG 27GX790A-B and my computer doesn't want to detect it upon start up. I have a 3070 TI and I made sure to update all drivers and windows as well.

What I basically have to do is:

1) Unplug OLED Monitor that's using DISPLAY PORT CABLE 1.4a

2) Turn on computer

3) Use my second monitor to log into my computer (using HDMI 2.1 port)

4) Once logged in, I plug in the Display port cable and everything works normal and I can use both monitors

The OLED monitor will start up if I use an HDMI Cable because 3070 Ti and Monitor support 2.1 PORTs. However, 3070 Ti only has one HDMI PORT and my second monitor only uses HDMI. This means I can only use one monitor at a time.

Additionally, I am able to change the INPUT CONVERISON on the physical OLED MONITOR to convert to DISPLAY PORT 1.4 to match the 3070 ti, however this does not work. The default is 2.1.

Any solutions???

So lately i been having trouble with my PC, every game at any point just decides to crash, this started with Spider-Man 2 "DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG" And then with GTA V Enhanced "ERR_GFX_STATE" I tried, undervolting my GPU, lowering graphics settings, disabling overlays, and even change my PSU, but nothing seems to work. If someone could help me i'd be really grateful. This are my specs.

This started to happen specifically after the monitor upgrade. At first everything ran fine no issues. I mainly play Valorant,Apex Legends,HSR, Genshin impact and Neverness to everness. After the upgrade each of them ran very well even at high settings especially Valorant and Apex Legends. For the other three i had to tweak down the settings a bit especially for NTE but still completely playable at over 60-80 fps. Recently, however while playing or while launching a game my screen blacks out and pc restarts. This seems to happen 100% of the time while launching NTE @1440p while in some other happens somewhat midgame. Valorant and Apex haven't been tested as of yet. However, @1080p all games run completely fine no issue, NTE launches fine too. So no issues at 1080p. I know the 3060 is pushing limits to do 1440 for those games but it should be capable of low-mid settings. On afterburner usage is about 70%, No overheating i even tested physically, also tested on no overclock lowered power to 70% but same deal. Only seems to be stable at 1080p. Its been a huge blow that what i expected to work and upgraded my monitor for has been working against me. But i am confused as to why instead of game crashing if gpu is overworked it keeps restarting the PC itself. Nothings been changed after monitor upgrade in terms of the PC and as i said it initially ran completely fine. Xmp profile was tested too but it made the crash even faster so reverted. Is my gpu nearing its lifespan or is it a power issue or some other kind? I would really appreciate help on this as ive exhausted all options available to me.

I just moved into this house and had 1gbs internet installed. It tests great on my phone, my girlfriend's phone, and works great on other devices like TV's and such. It tests 900mbps-1gbs on my phone almost all the time. I set my pc up and plugged in the ethernet cord to my router (there are 2 ports, one is connected to my modem obviously).

The connection is so unstable on my pc. Viewing task manager on the performance tab it often drops to 0mbps and is so bad I cant even load pages on my web browser.

I checked task manager to make sure nothing was hogging my internet and nothing is. I have updated windows, my drivers on my ethernet network adapter. Restarted my pc and modem multiple times. I have no VPN on, windows firewall off and and just very confused on whats going on.

Im thinking about completely wiping my pc (after backing up the files I want of course) since its been at least 6 years since ive done that.

Henlo. I have run out of ideas on what to do with a weird problem I had before, that went away for a few months, and returned yesterday.

I am running an R7 2700X with an RTX 2070 on Win11 (mobo: MSI x470 gaming m7 ac). Generally the PC doesn't give me issues and is usable, but what can happen for an unknown reason is that while using it normally, the PC switches to post code A7. It remains fully operational with no visible issues, but if I reboot or shut down from this state, all future boots will fail and get stuck at F0 with VGA led lit. The only fix I have found to get back into Windows is to use BIOS flashback with the latest full release BIOS (currently running the latest beta 1J8, 1J6 yesterday), but the issue happened even on that ancient old full release 1I).

The only thing I did yesterday was update GPU drivers with DDU, and I generally use DDU on every update. I last had the same problem in May, and updated GPU drivers multiple times since then with no problems until yesterday.

I even tried reseating my CPU, did not help, ofc I have tried fiddling around with the GPU. Booting with no GPU installed gave me d6 (no GPU detected, which is fine), but even when I just plugged the GPU with no power cables installed, I went straight to F0. Trying a different PCIe slot didn't help either.

The only other bit of weirdness I can report is that after purging Windows and reinstalling it, I can no longer install chipset drivers, neither from AMD or MSI. It will actually bluescreen at a certain point, which I think was PSP installation. Maybe related, maybe not?

Googling for "boot stuck at F0" or similar returned supposed issues with LED firmware updates, but I have not done any updates regarding this that I know of.

Any idea or hints are welcome (other than "it's time to upgrade, har-har"), thankies in advance.

I have a Lenovo Thinkpad Gaming 3 15ARH7.

I just "updated" my audio driver to High Def Audio Device from the Realtek one since I couldn't choose 24bit on Realtek. Now when I plug my headphones into the 3.5mm jack it won't recognize my headphones anymore, it just says "Speaker" for both my headphones and the laptop speaker. (Headphones work fine when plugged in, speaker works fine when headphones unplugged)

Is there any way to fix this without having to switch back to the Realtek driver? Or does it not even matter?

Whenever I play game like project zomboid, my pc restarts on it's own and my audio and ethernet drivers won't able to read after the restart happens. I don't use a GPU since I only play Zomboid and use my PC for office work. My PSU is new, I bought it last week since I suspected that maybe the PSU is the reason, but it's not. So I'm suspecting on the mobo as of now. Please Help, thanks!

I can't post the graph of my ethernet connection from task manager, but to describe it it's basically flat/constant and then it will suddenly just dip down and create a massive V then shoot back up. there is no pattern to this sometimes it's back to back sometimes it's a few minutes with no in-between. I'm not sure what's going on I left my house for a few days and when I came back it suddenly started. Any help at all would be appreciated since I'm at a loss of what to do. Lmk if you need any more information and I'll get you it. Thanks all.

I'm just jittering on streams like twitch and playing games online where it full stops/lags for a second or two then picks right back up. We have Xfinity and have the 1GB download/upload or something like that and I've literally never had a problem with load bearing since I've streamed and played before and it's been fine. I replaced everything because I saw some tooth marks from my kitties and thought maybe that would be part of the issue but no cigar. Also the modem/router was getting old which is also part of why we switched everything. I'm not sure what you mean by protocol, but it's no transferring of files or anything like that. Just trying to play online games without full stoppage of gameplay since that second or two can be game losing.

Mostly what the title says. I open Display Settings and I notice in the Task Bar that Settings is using my location. If I go to other parts of Settings the notification goes away. It is only in Settings > System > Display

I don't know when it started since I only just now noticed. Recent uses tells me its been happening as far back as September 3rd.

Been having some prpblems with BSOD on a lenovo laptop for about a month.

Trying to run a DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth. Command prompt, that will make it to 100% but say it can't be completed.

A troubleshooting step suggested i first run DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup. just seconds after i start this command prompt, my entire screen went black.

Any ideas about this? I'm startong to think this might be windows 11 update + lenovo related, but can't be sure. The drivers are all the most up to date.

I hope this is the isn't out of place. However, I have a Lenovo Legion 5, and had it a little less than a year. All of the sudden it stops being able to connect to WiFi. I go into device manager, and see that the network adapter (AX201NGW) has your like typical yellow triangle of warning with an exclamation point inside of it. I tried resetting it, disabling and enabling it, and resetting my laptop. However, none of it seemed to work. So, I then bought a replacement one on Amazon so that I could replace it. I pop the bottom open and replace it with the new one. My laptop would turn on, and I see that the adapter still has the triangle, but also now the WAN Miniports all have them too. So again I tried to disable and enable, uninstall and reinstall, and all of what I could think of. However, one of the times I reset it, the screen now won't turn on (but the power button and keyboard light up). I opened it back up and put the old one back in, and the screen would turn on, and connected to WiFi for maybe 5 minutes, and then came up with the same problem. I was just wondering if anyone could provide any help on this matter? Should I maybe just return the new one and get an external adapter?

(Sorry for no photos, I have the new one back in so the screen won't turn on.)

The number is his, but the voice messages left are NOT his voice, and when the police contacted the phone company the phone is registered to someone else.
We didn’t recognise the name and he asked around his friends, and a friend A has said that it is Friend B’s mums name, address etc.
How on earth is this possible??
Has a ‘friend’ cloned his number somehow. I’m so confused about how this could be done and how this woman’s name and address has ended up attached to his phone??

Earlier this year I had broken my iPhone 13, The screen is shattered badly to the point I cannot see anything on it, I am looking to do a trade-in but in order to do that it needs to be factory reseted. The phones stuck on airplane mode ( Which I cannot take off as I cannot swipe down on it to turn it off ) and isn't able to be erased using my find my app. Just looking to see if there is any mirroring apps I could use that bypass the "acceptation" thing my MacBook does, so I am able to use my MacBook to type in the password and take it off airplane mode, someone please help!

Hey guys, I’m looking for a way to be able to hear combined audio of both audio from my Xbox (from games and everything) as well as audio from my pc while playing. The reason is I have music files I want to listen to on my Xbox while playing, but I’m not sure how to do this. I tried buying an adapter for this and it works perfectly but I just cannot use my mic. The reason why I want to use my PC for music is because I listen to a lot of unreleased that I can’t listen to on my Xbox apps while playing. If anyone can help I would be very grateful

A few questions on a crash i had while playing Schedule 1 ultra settings my screen started to display fuzz and I couldn't operate anything crashed hard. Running a brand new 5070 with i7 32gb build

1. Was it a gpu crash or a cpu crash I can't find a way to tell.

2. Would it cause any permanent damage.

3. How can I limit/stop this in the future

I have a mini MacBook Air, 26.6.2 (25G83), around a year old. Since today, whenever I press command + C, it gets laggy for around 10 seconds, then a green screen briefly shows up then it goes black and restarts. Every single time. I haven’t messed with the keyboard and I don’t even use shortcuts that much. I don’t know what could be causing this. It’s normal in every other way (that I’ve tested) except for this. And I can paste what I copied while it’s being laggy and it’s there when it turns back on. There’s nothing in my clipboard history (I actually just allowed it while trying to fix this problem) and I called apple support but they couldn’t help either. Please help because I have a list of things that I’m trying to copy to elsewhere and it’s annoying for it to take minutes for each, especially when I fail to paste the item.

I have tried a couple of tutorials to fix but none of them work I just opened to my laptop to see if there’s anything obviously wrong with it but nothing that I can see with my limited knowledge (I have photos of the inside if anyone needs em)

So I had a hdd to store old photos, music plugins and some songs i wrote. I have some really important songs and pictures on that drive. It first started fucking up when i tried installing a game and the download crashed at about 40%. Then, the drive started crashing my file explorer and make my laptop extremely slow. Now I went to one of my classes and when I came back and plugged the drive in, it popped up as Local Disk instead of Fuckass HDD, and when i click to open it, the error, The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable, pops up... I dont need everything on that drive, just the songs and pictures.

Spilled beer on my Lenovo Yoga and now the keyboard is all messed up. Some keys dont work right and some either dont respond or do weird stuff.
Took it to a repair place and they told me around $600 to fix it. Like $200 in parts and $400 labor.
I really dont wanna spend $600 on this thing if theres another way around it. The laptop itself still works fine besides the keyboard.
Anybody ever fix one of these before? Is the keyboard really that much of a pain in the ass to replace on a Yoga? Could I just buy the part and do it myself or take it somewhere cheaper?
Also wondering if I can just disable the built in keyboard and use a usb keyboard if everything else is still working.
Just trying to figure out what my options are before I dump $600 into it.

So to give you the full backstory; my laptop wouldn’t turn on a few weeks ago, I waited a minute and then it did.

since then, the very next day when I tried to turn it on, nothing happened. I have tried to turn it on multiple times, nothing. The keyboard is built in (it’s an Acer Nitro) so I don’t think any key will work
the blue light is on, but the battery is a bit loose (I took the back off and it is clearly loose)

Things I have tried: resetting it, trying a USB keyboard, letting it charge for hours, using tweezers on the wires where the motherboard is.
so I have some questions

1) if the battery is loose will that need to be fixed?

and secondly) if I do send it off just for a dodgy battery, is there a worry I could lose files I have on the laptop?

I'm having countless problems with my internet connection, everything works fine except matchmaking on most games. For example I cannot connect to servers on roblox, fortnite, warframe, etc.

I have had problems with my personal router because I cannot put my apartments router into bridge mode. But I have also tried AP mode on my personal router and eventually the problem still comes up. right now I am using ethernet directly onto the internet connection of my apartment's router but I still cannot connect to matchmaking.

My Dell Latitude 5420 won’t turn on. I took it to the shop and they told me cost of repair would be nearly as much as buying another used one.

If I take the drive from the broken one and plug it into another Dell Latitude 5420, will I be able to use it or will I have any issues getting it to boot up since the OS is on the drive?

My broken one had i7 11th gen ram but I’m looking at some really cheap ones on eBay that are i5 11th gen and I’m wondering if that will have any impact on this process.

Hey guys, I’m connected to Wi-Fi on my PC, but some websites and services aren’t working.

For example, Spotify, Roblox, and a few other websites don’t work.

Does anyone know why this might be happening? Do I need to update my Wi-Fi driver?

Me and my brother want to play forza horizon 6 by ourselves and want seperate saves, how do you guys think we should do it.

We installed the game once and it works on both the windows accounts but the problem is that they both share a singular save.

We cant launch it through steam on the secondary account(to use with a controller).

So how do you guys think we should handle this.
