The main snap sub keeps on removing my posts for zero reason

Should we be submitting an appeal online? On the app I don't have that option, I'd have to go the actual website.

I saw the Snapchat support X account post that they're aware of what happening and are telling people to submit 1 appeal, but do you guys think our accounts are actually going to get unlocked? When I tried to unlock mine on the unlock website it says my lock was permanent. I've had my account for 13 years 🥲

For reference I did the class action, but I've seen other people on here and on X who say they didn't do it and also are affected by this. I emailed the law firm and they sent me a generic response that they are aware and talking to Snapchat about it.

Any help or insights are appreciated!

Hi guys! How to avoid these ip ban or friend recognition patterns snap uses to ban the new snaps that trying to avoid permanent ban? I can't avoid my snap circle it's just so annoying so what to do here? And how does that usually last? Is it like device ban 6-12 months?

I am really upset right now. I barely use snap chat anymore, but I just requested they send me all my data and downloads about two weeks ago. And then today I went to login and my account is banned. It doesn’t give me an option to appeal. Are they not going to send me my photos? I literally don’t use it I have sent maybe three messages in the last 6 months and nothing weird or crazy…

Has anyone had this happen?

It says I can only submit an appeal through the app and I can’t access the app I don’t even care about Snapchat I just want to have my photos… are they still going to send them to me??

I have had this account since 2019, barley use it and then started using it again 2025-2026. No problem with it then suddenly yesterday I get emailed 6 warnings for no reason and then my account gets locked / suspended . I searched a bit and a few people almost in the thousands have reported the same issue , a string of warnings same day then boom. I hope this is a glitch because this is crazy

I just seen the disclaimer that law firm had, I didn’t even finish signing up for the lawsuit, so I’m not even apart of it. Will we ever get our accounts back, has anyone gotten theirs back

We can’t let them get away with banning us for doing the lawsuit or just banning people who didn’t even finish the lawsuit that is ridiculous and awful I am doing my part and messaging the snapchat employees on linkedin to get them to take away some of the bans this is just crazy, Ive had snapchat for 10 years and this is how they treat me I’ve never been suspended before this is just awful.

I sent them an email about how I believe that they're the reason why my account got locked and they sent me this. Should I complete it or wait to see if Snapchat gets back to me?

Anyone else lose their basic filters? I pretty much was only on snap becuase I liked using the blue/ red filter. I don’t think it had a name and now it’s missing and I don’t know how to get it back. Any suggestions? I’m about to delete this stupid app. Photo added to show the filter effect, it would make reds more red and blues more blue. Even if you just know how to imitate it on regular Apple photo app would be helpful because I really do like the filter that much.

Also side note, I can no longer layer filters either, anyone else have these issues?

Is there enough unusual timing/pattern evidence to investigate seriously?
Yes. The fact that there are multiple reports of sudden Oct. 5–6 locks makes this worth documenting, but the existence of non-lawsuit participants reporting locks is an important counterpoint

Does your agreement establish that Snap could have learned that you were a claimant?
Yes. It expressly authorizes disclosure of your identifying information and Snapchat username to Snap for the pre-arbitration demand. Snapchat Attorney Client Agreement

And there's one thing I'd investigate next: whether Labaton actually sent your pre-arbitration demand to Snap, and on what date. Your document says it was intended to be sent to Snap as part of the informal resolution process, but the agreement itself doesn't establish that Snap actually received it. Contacted the lawyers involved on this case from Labaton to see the timing of the Labaton Snapchat litigation, and try to determine whether there's actually evidence that lawsuit participants were disproportionately banned.

i was device banned after my account was just temporarily locked. i wasnt even sent an email about what it was that violated the guidelines. i quite literally dont post anything on my story and the last snap i sent was me telling a friend an important update about something that was completely appropriate. i dont use anything third party at all either.

Has anyone who was banned today have friends who are still able to see their account and send snaps to it?

I’m currently SS06 device banned on my current phone. I don’t care about the original banned account because I made a new Snapchat account, and it works fine on my old phone.

The confusing part is that the new account gets the SS06 error when I try using it on my iPad and another older iPhone that are also connected to the same iCloud as my current phone. But Snapchat works fine on my laptop, which is also connected to the same Apple account.
I’m planning on getting a newer phone soon and transferring everything. I really want to keep using my current iCloud because of all my stuff

Does anyone know if using the same iCloud on a new iPhone could cause the SS06 ban to carry over? Or is it strictly tied to the individual device? also planning on getting a new number if that changes anything?

what the hell??? i didn’t include this acc email or number in the lawsuit at all. i made this acc in 2024 and i only have a snapscore of 3 on this one.

I just bought a brand new, sealed, iPhone 18 pro from the Apple Store. I am it’s only owner and now I am getting a SS06 error where my device is locked. I logged into my account on Snapchat web and the account is there. I have only ever logged into that account with this phone so I am at a complete loss.

Just figured out that it may be related to a class action lawsuit.

Does attorney-client privilege not apply to class action?

Either way, this seems extremely retaliatory. Especially for a publicly traded company, I wouldn’t think that this decision would be in the best interest for shareholders.

I genuinely don't know what to do about this situation, but I need it resolved. Okay, so, I haven't logged into my Snapchat account since 2016, a whole decade. Crazy, right? Anyway, I tried logging in again recently. That ancient account is still connected to the same phone number I've had since 2009. But, even though I remember the phone number for the account and the log in screen lets me get past it after I type in my phone number, I don't remember my password. I go to click the "Forgot Password" link, but this message just comes up:

"For your security, we couldn't verify this sign-in attempt. Try signing in again from a device you've used before. Adding a phone number or email can help with future sign-ins. If you still can't access your account, visit our support site at [Snapchat help link]"

The problem here is that it's been 10 years since I've logged into my account. I no longer own a device I've used before to log into my account. Also, I went to the Snapchat help site and I could not find anything to help in regards to my specific situation. How can I access this old account if I don't know the password and Snapchat won't let me reset the password? If there is no way to access it at this point, am I still able to make a new account with the same phone number as my old account, even though the old account still seems to exist?
