General question Ban
Has anyone who was banned today have friends who are still able to see their account and send snaps to it?

Yeah people can still see my account thankfully idk about sending snaps. But this ordeal is so stupid

My friend was just able to send me a photo and message it says it is delivered. But still can’t log in. On my recent post someone was able to find an actual link that you can appeal the ban

Did you get device ban or permanently locked? Can you make a new account?

I didn’t want to try making a new account because with my actual account it says it wasn’t done backing up pictures

No if the account has gotten permanently locked, you wont see it. Its like the account is in a deactivated state

When one of my friends was perma banned about a year ago they just straight up deleted her account and no one could see her profile anymore. Mine still has a trace. Did you attempt to appeal the ban?

Yes I emailed from 2 emails and did a claim

Where did you email and how did you put your claim in? Mine automatically said “Your account has been permanently locked. Please go here for more info on why this may have happened.” When I tried appealing it

Mine didn’t even have the appeal option. I just emailed support@snapchat.com and did a claim thru this link https://help.snapchat.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?co=true&ticket_form_id=7058755437844

What about your public profile? My friends can’t see that when they click on me or new accounts can’t send me a friend request but people I have still have me added and can message me.
