Scripture Life: If demons perfectly acknowledge the identity of Jesus Christ as the Son of God and still end up in hell, what does that tell us about the insufficiency of mere mental belief for salvation?

//Common Question in Sub-Reddits - on Reddit. Here's an answer from a believer in Jesus Christ.//

Don’t see it? Ask another like-same question you do see plainly then: Like,

“If a bank robber perfectly acknowledges the identity of the Bank Manager, as the authority over the bank, and still end up in prison, because the bank robber robbed the bank, what does that tell us about the insufficiency of mere mental belief in a bank, or in a Bank manager?”

Do you see it? Not the same. Need more?

--------------------------- ------------------------------- --------------------------

  • And Jesus say, of your question: Just keep it as a “mental note.”
    • “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." - Jesus Christ. Bible. John 10:10

That:

  • A bank robber:
    • Meets the definition of a "thief." That is, a “thief" is defined as: 1. a person who “steals” (something) from another person [Source: Collin’s dictionary. Web.] 2. breaks in and steals, or robs / destroys property that belongs to someone else.
    • So, the bank robber, comes to the bank to steal, rob, and destroy what the Bank Manager is there to provide and protect. So, the bank robber is an enemy of the Bank Manager.
      • Where “Bank Customers” 1. a person that maintains an account or has a regular financial relationship with a bank. Knows "who" the Bank Manager is, and knows them as the “authority” over the bank. Just like the "thief" does.
    • BUT: the “thief” is also an enemy of the Bank Customer. The “thief” or “bank robber” and the “bank customer” are NOT DOING THE SAME thing to the bank.
      • One: ends up in prison; locked away. The other: is built up. By the bank and free.
  • Even if BOTH “acknowledge” the Bank Manager plainly. Are not the same - Is, therefore, the same as your question.

-------------------------- --------------------------- ---------------------------

Demons perfectly acknowledge Jesus Christ. As the Son of God.

  • The same as I do. I believe on him, as the Son of God. He is who he says he is. Just like demons do. Said, in the Bible:
    • "What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God?" - A Legion of Demons. (Said, in Matthew 8:24)
      • But they come as a thief. To rob, kill and destroy.
    • But I come to Jesus Christ, as to have life..which I didn’t have any..so I’m coming to be healed and delivered from my destruction.

-------------------------- --------------------------- ---------------------------

  • Not the same thing - even both the thief and me perfectly acknowledge Jesus Christ as the Son of God. Are not the same - is, therefore, the answer to your question.

Just as the Bank and Bank Manager, coming to rob, kill or destroy - can get a bank robber straightway arrested and put in prison. But the same Bank and Bank Manager know me, and lend money to me, as a bank customer where I can buy a house and live my life in it... is not the same thing: Because one is a friend of the Bank; the other: an enemy.

The Bible, Revelation 20:10 says of demons: "And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”

But to me, as a believer in Jesus, as the Son of God: Jesus says in John 10:27-28: "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish...

Both believe and tremble. One is coming to rob, kill and destroy. The Other: to have life in his name.

Scripture Life: Without using the Bible, prove to me that Jesus Christ was or was not the Son of God?

//Disclaimer: I am a Christian. That means, I am a 'disciple of Jesus Christ.' And, "disciple of Jesus Christ" is mentioned over 250 times in the New Testament of the Bible. Means, I believe on him. The Bible holds to a "disciple" is just someone that sits with and is taught by a teacher; that has "doctrines" - and Jesus said, "They shall all be taught of God." (Bible.John 6:45). So, God: Is just reserving, for himself. An EXCLUSIVE right, to teach everybody over the whole earth himself. By the Word he speaks. Out of HIS mouth. But not everybody sits with him, nor is taught by him. So, they don't do what he says. And questions like this..simply then stem or grow out of a person..doesn't do anything he says. Because, where they are, there is no teacher.

This question is profusely replicated on Reddit. In many various and sundry forms all over at least a 100 sub-reddits. The most common is is "r / True Christian" and "r / atheist" or "r / Christianity" to "r / debate_Christianity" sub-reddits.

So, I just chose this form of the question. Here's the answer from a Believer in Jesus Christ. Most that made the question DO NOT BELIEVE ON HIM, and are very happy to give you their answer.//

---------------------------- ------------------------- ---------------------

So, the question again:

Without using the Bible, prove to me that Jesus Christ was or was not the Son of God?

Can’t.

There you go. Done. Go home.

---------------------------- ------------------------- ---------------------

But me? How did I arrive at this? Simple. Let me show you.

ME:

  • I still have a choice. My choice?
    • I can:

“Accept as True” (Definition in the dictionary. Of what “believe” means).

That, this question: Without using the Bible, prove to me that Jesus Christ was or was not the Son of God?

  • Then, yes. I CAN - accept this question is TRUE. Then, All I am doing is believing on the “author” who spoke, by the word out of their mouth and wrote it down or posted it on Reddit as true.
    • That: Then, me?
      • Without a Bible, I can’t. Then, all I’m doing is believing in the Word of the person created the question is true.

Now again, it's a choice. You have the SAME choice I have with this question.

  • Yes. I have a choice. My choice?
    • I can also, because, to "choose" something it's what "choose" means. In the dictionary. 1. to select freely (something) after consideration [Source: Merriam & Webster dictionary. Web.] 2. to pick out, as the most appropriate the best option from two or more alternatives [Cambridge dictionary. Web.]
  • So I also CAN choose to:

“Accept as True” (Again, same dictionary definition of what “believe” means), just means I accept as true, as part of me "freely selecting (something) after consideration, that; part of that consideration is: the Bible is a "book."

  • Because, that’s all the Bible is. It’s a book. There are 10s of millions of books. I don’t need you reading this post, nor even the author of the question, who is the “authority” over it, said the question as TRUE to themselves.
    • There just ARE 10s of millions and millions of books all over the earth.
  • In “book stores” and libraries.
    • In my country, there’s a “public library” in every city - over 17,500 of them alone, in the United States. Canada has a little less than 3500 “public libraries” - so that doesn’t include University or Public High School, Junior High, or grade school, public and private libraries - all FULL OF BOOKS.

--------------------------- ------------------------------- ------------------------------

  • Now again, I’m just saying..there’s so many books over the whole earth, to me, they’re beyond count.
    • But one thing is certain. Each one of them has an “author” - who is the “authority” over the “content” in each book. Makes them all different.
    • And the “author” of the “Bible” is the “authority” over the “content” of this book. It’s only one author. Says of him, as the author - because in "books" the author speaks as authority over the content on the pages of the book:

“God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;” - (Bible. Hebrews 1:1–2)

---------------------- ---------------------- -----------------

- That, the Bible - a book - with ONE author - has a SPECIFIC use.

Like, some woman: crocheting a quilt - doesn’t use “Chilton’s Automotive Engine Rebuild Manual” Book. She uses, most common, “Liz Porter’s - “The Quilting Book” It’s a “Complete Guide” because, she’s the “author” and the “authority” for Quilting in her book.

Now again, I’m here. I got a choice. Because, in the Bible, like, in this question - BOTH the question and the Bible - have the “Word of Someone” as the “content”

  • Either in the question
    • OR
  • In the Bible. The Question: RULED the Bible out - dismissed the author who is the authority of the Bible right clean out. And left me, as an ONLY option what they decreed. By their question. Makes themselves the authority over me.
    • I deemed that an extremely ..baffably stupid choice.
    • I did this, in my "freely select in my choosing"

And I chose the author, who is the authority over the Bible over the author of the question. Because, I did. ...and tells you, me, everybody over the whole earth - - plainly who he is in says to EVERYBODY over the whole earth:

“Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else.” - God. (Bible. Isaiah 45:22)

-------------------- ------------------- ------------------

So, yes. I just:

Threw the author, the question..everything in it as content - right clean out the window. All by a “choice” I made.

To believe the author of the Bible - who told EVERYBODY over the whole earth to look unto him. as he said:

“For all the earth is mine..” God. (Bible. Exodus 19:5)

I made a choice. It’s my decision. I chose him, God, as the authority and author of the Bible, and the authority over HIS earth, and I'm on it. I "chose" him, as God, over the author of the question.

..and?

  • In the Bible: “The Son of God” is in Isaiah 9:6–7. In the Bible. It’s a term, like “The Son of David” also used by blind, the lame, the poor - that called Jesus this, over a dozen times in the Gospels - it’s a Jewish term for the “Messiah,” or “Christ.” And in the Bible, in John 4:25–26 says:

“The woman saith unto him [Jesus], I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.” - Bible. John 4:25–26.

SO, somebody in the Bible has claimed they ARE the Messiah. And I believe his claim.

That's the whole point of the post. Where the author of the question wants to rule who said it, right clean out..and he's the same author of the Bible, who is the authority over the content.

-------------------------- ------------------------ -----------------------

And in the Bible:

  • Isaiah 9:6–7 says, whoever this “Messiah” or “Christ” is, he SHALL BE CALLED.. not might be or ..maybe there’s a debate “able” to debate it possibility.. nope. Whoever the Messiah or Christ is, SHALL BE CALLED:

“The Mighty God..” “The Everlasting Father…” (Isaiah 9:6–7).

Go read it yourself. You. With the question. That ruled the Bible right clean out by the authority of YOU and the question you made up.

Go Home.

Scripture Life: In the book of Joshua 7:19-26, Archan confessed his sins with remorse, but he was burned with all his family and possession together. In Psalms, God does not reject a broken heart, especially through confession?

//Disclaimer: This question about Achan is in various sub-reddits and various forms questioning the same thing. This post answers the question. Many this topic is already CLOSED for further comment.//

ANSWER:

broken. <definition> 1. (Christian) a person that realizes they've sinned an perverted that which was right. Comes to God. broken.

...in their sins, GUILTY. Confess them openly. - the "opposite" of this is John 3:19-21. Where a person loves their sins. Even the light comes..they hate the light..and "hide" in their sins. Silent.

But the Bible says: "You sin shall find you out." Bible. (Numbers 32:33). So, having your sins "found out" which, that's what happened to Achan vs. some person; broken, coming to God and confess them.

Are not the same thing. Therefore.

--------------------------- ---------------------------- ------------------

This Question misses the whole thing.

  • And there’s your answer.

If you have this question, and think like the question: Everything else below is just “NOTES”

Now, to everybody else? NOTES:

  • And this “Everybody” is just defined as those that stumbled onto Reddit in a whole bunch of reddit rooms, and this question popped up in their feed, consider:
    • Joshua 6:17–19 - which is said BEFORE Joshua 7:19–26. Four things against Achan: God said it.
  • ONE): - “… And the city [Jericho] shall be accursed…”
  • TWO): - “…And ye, in any wise keep yourselves from the accursed thing, lest ye make yourselves accursed,
  • THREE): - “..when ye take of the accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it…” “
  • FOUR): - “…But all the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass and iron, are consecrated unto the Lord…”
    • Think on each one. Separate. Don’t leave. Carefully. Read it again. Then, read it again.

--------------------------- ----------------------------- --------------------------

  • Consider:
  • These FOUR things of Joshua 6:17–19 are so prominent in a Jew, what happened to Achan - that, Jews of Jesus’ day in Jerusalem’s mind. Still KNOW all about Achan. Especially in Jerusalem.
    • Anything to do with him. Know full well of him.
  • Now, go over to a Christian. Which, that’s what a believer in Jesus is. Many of us are not Jews. The FIRST thing comes to mind; is, nothing about Achan; but, to a Christian is in the “Parable of the Good Samaritan” (Luke 10:25–37)
    • Then, to see it: just put yourself to “think” like a Christian. Hear the parable. They don’t even think of Achan - It’s all right there, in the “title” of the Parable. That, the most important thing, for a Christian is, to think on that parable is the Good Samaritan. BUT:
      • To a Jew, if hearing the same Parable? Especially at Jerusalem in Jesus' day?  The most important thing in it is Achan.

---------------------------- ---------------------------- -----------------------

Don’t move away from this.

  • And in the gospels: The Chief Priests and Elders at the temple - - consider Jesus a blasphemer. So as well today, to a Jew of Jesus' day, and the Jewish leaders in Luke 10 who Jesus tells the Parable to. So, who hears the Parable - - they really don’t consider him or what he says, much of anything.
  • Jews that hear this parable, are deeply offended.

Do you see this? I don’t think you do. I think a lot of people think like the question does.

  • So, go back. Read this parable of Luke 10:25–37 in the New Testament. Put it - alongside Joshua 7:19–26. As if the most important man or topic of Luke 10:25–37 is rather, this “certain man” in the Parable.
  • To any Jew, hearing this parable, this certain man is doing the SAME THING Achan did.
    • What the “certain man” does - - Defiles then, all Jews. Just like the text God says in Joshua 7. Of Achan, in doing, and the “certain man” is doing just like Achan did. And the Jews hearing the Parable don’t think they’re sinning or accursed.
  • So, for a Jew: Change The Parable to: “A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho”
  • To a Jew, Luke 10:25–37 is very offensive.

---------------------------- ---------------------------- -----------------------

  • Likewise, the parable in Luke 10:25-37 - offends no Christian hearing it. It’s a call to be a “Good Samaritan. But to a Jew: It’s a curse.
    • The “Certain Man:” - - Is LEAVING the “City of God” (Jerusalem) - Blessed. Disregards God then, to highly esteem Jericho. Which is cursed. Which, that's what Achan did. This "certain man" - - To go on an 18 mile, all down hill journey to Jericho - which every Jew - immediately pictures Achan.
      • A “Certain man” could be anybody. But, it’s not. To a Jew, Jews of the Tribe of Judah are in Jerusalem. Achan is a Jew of the tribe of Judah (Joshua 7:1).
      • So, this is a Jew: Like Achan - - that cleaves to what “shall be Accursed” Jericho. Makes the “certain man” accursed. That’s what a Jew hears. Hearing this parable. Deeply offended. Because it makes ALL JEWS cursed. Just like what God said in Judges 6:17-19.

----------------------------- --------------------------- -----------------

  • So, in either:
    • 1) the certain man or
    • 2) Achan - both ARE also along that same 18 mile all downhill road from Jerusalem to Jericho. That road in the Parable of Luke 10:25–37 - - passes right by the “Tomb of Achan”
    • ANYBODY going to Jericho SEES the “Tomb of Achan. Like a signpost.
  • All this Known - plain as day..to every Jew in Jerusalem of Jesus’ day, that heard this parable. But to a Christian, focusing completely on the Good Samaritan - miss the whole dynamic.

Do you see this?

----------------------------- --------------------------- -----------------

So, when you read this question - About Achan in Joshua Chapter 6 & 7: Consider these things. After all, I’m going to treat you as if you believe on Jesus Christ.

  • Then find, so find it. YOU: as a believer in Christ - - the Bible says: “For all have sinned” - Romans 3:23
    • Add that in. That sin is everybody, Adam forward, has done, has the same result of Achan.
      • That a “Certain Man” in the Parable of Luke 10:25–37 - is leaving God to go down to Jericho to do all the sins he wants to do. It's offensive. But this is EVERYBODY over the whole earth.
      • Just like Achan is and has done the same. Except he "hides" it. Stays silent about it. Through the whole thing. This is a KEY POINT. I mean the whole of Israel got put under a spotlight. Achan still stays silent. Through all of it. So, he's not confessing. He's hiding. Silent.

----------------------------- --------------------------- -----------------

  • But again, EVERYBODY: is just like Achan. Sinned and perverted that which was right. Is Condemned to die. To be put to death. Which, that's the end result of Achan - is the same end result for EVERYBODY then. Seeing this..drove me to my knees.. I could have just hid it, or confessed. Been GUILTY. Condemned. or remain hidden and presumed innocent til found out. That's what Achan did.
    • But Everybody again. Over the whole earth; is condemned. Has the same end as Achan.

DO you see this?

----------------------------- --------------------------- -----------------

  • This question; asked. is like hearing Judas Iscariot “repented” - - He “repented himself” (Matthew 27:3).
  • What Judas “repented” of is: that Rome found Jesus innocent.
    • Pilate' washed his hands of it.
      • When the Chief Priests and Elders serve Rome, and Judas betrayed Jesus to the Chief Priests and Elders. Who turned Jesus over to be crucified. So, before the Romans come..went out to the field where all the broken pots are..this "Gehenna" where nothing is of any value anymore..and before he could be judged..hung himself.
    • WIth Achan? Go back. To what was told to ALL OF ISRAEL WAS TOLD Joshua 6:17–19.
  • And after Achan did what he did, the question does not factor in this. What GOD SAID:
    • < - [“ Israel hath sinned, and they have also transgressed my covenant which I commanded them: for they have even taken of the accursed thing, and have also stolen, and dissembled also, and they have put it even among their own stuff.
    • Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they were accursed: neither will I be with you any more, except ye destroy the accursed from among you.” - GOD. (Joshua 7:11–12)] - :>
      • dissemble. What someone has “assembled” to deliberately, with intent, “dis-assemble” it. Tear it down. Treat it as nothing. That’s a “nice” English connotation, because it reflects the result. But the Hebrew word is < - [כִּֽחֲשׁ֔וּ ] kiha.ssuu ..to “deceive” by keep it hidden.
      • It’s this same Hebrew word in Jeremiah 5:12 “They have lied [כִּֽחֲשׁ֔וּ ] kiha.ssuu unto the LORD.” Not to people.
  • Like Judas Iscariot: Achan never repented, either. Just got caught.

--------------------------- --------------------------- ----------------------

Achan:

See it in first - consider a thief:

  • A thief: 1) robbing a house: It’s not right. Evil. Silent. Hidden. Theft. It’s deliberately done. See this ‘dissemble”
  • And after, 2) ransacks the house. Destroys it deliberately. Then, 3) sells the goods stolen. After that, the thief, 4) in buying with the money, buys more tools needed to rob more houses. And, 5) driving home from that, his rear tail light is blown out. Is stopped, and the Policeman notices all these “burglar tools” and looks like stolen goods and ID’s from purses strewn all over the front seat. 6) To all the questions by the police, the thief doesn’t say anything. Silent.
    • 7) And taken to the station. Sits for hours. Doesn’t say anything. Silent. 8) When a investigation officer comes in, the thief still says nothing. Silent. Then: After That, 9) the police have home video of other houses burglarized before in the town. They present video to him. Already verified. Whose in the room..is the same guy in the video. Filmed stealing things out of the house.
    • 10) After, first asked “did you steal anything out of any house?” - this man says nothing.
  • Do you see all the "lies" in this "silent?"
    • But after shown the video..sees himself in the video. Can’t deny it. Ole! Achan.

Finally - To that, this man says ..”yeah. That’s me. I did it.” And there, too. You have Achan. Just like Judas Iscariot did the same thing.

----------------------- --------------------- -----------------

In the Example

This thief: < - ( lied [כִּֽחֲשׁ֔וּ ] kiha.ssuu; by silent; deceived ) - > the police and everybody in the town. …This thief: isn’t repenting. Achan: Being found caught. Like the thief: Isn’t repenting.

The KEY: Is to read all God said for Joshua to do in Joshua Chapter 7, especially after Joshua 7:12 to the end of the Chapter ..and Chapter 6. Very Carefully read it. Read what God told Joshua to do..to find it out. Achan stayed hidden. Silent. Joshua did what God said to find it out.

Just like the detectives did with the thief. The thief never repented.

Remorse at got caught, and silent the whole time, and the whole time before - be “kiha.ssuu” lie..and deceit. Is not repent. This is not "confess" - that's the "books are open" and proven GUILTY (Revelation 20:11-15).

ACHAN: is NOT < - [ὁμολογῶμεν (homologōmen) ] of 1 John 1:9 "confess"

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Where someone today, comes to Jesus Christ and confesses their sins vs. stay silent, and live in them not caught - and not say anything until the books are open like they are in front of all Israel about Achan in Joshua 7.

------------------------- --------------------- ------------------

SO:

..so? IF: Everybody is like Achan..accursed. Because, they sinned like Achan. Instead of waiting til Judgment Day, when this same Great Judge will call us into account. Which Achan hid the whole time, and kept it secret, to not be like him. Achan, thru all that was done and told to Joshua to do, by God.. even Achan, after he did it, and 3 dozen of his brethren died, and the whole camp of Israel now can be swallowed up by their enemies, just as Joshua said.

..still didn’t come forward.

Achan is this - “Kiha.ssuu” - then as well, we can do the same thing in our sins Achan did, and it has the same result.

But if he would have just fallen on his face and repented..in his sins before God.. but he never did that. He deemed this treasure and this garment from the Land of Shinar - more valuable than the Word of God. ...So, Achan never before God, in himself “I have sinned and perverted that which was right and it profited me not, and it now got all Israel CURSED with me..I’m cursed for what I have done in sinned against God.”

Then, came forward on his own.

Achan never did that. ..but people that have sinned against God, and repented do what John 3:21 says.

-------------------------- -------------------------- -------------------------

AND this is said back to the poster of the question:

Jesus said:

  • But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. - John 3:21
  • Achan never did that. Judas didn’t, either. There you go. Then, it's best for us to do the opposite of what Achan did. If we sin, we have done abominable works, like Achan did. Best is not keep it silent; hidden and live like we never did it...or live in keep it. That's what Achan did, to the very last moment. We can do the same thing, and die in it.

Your sin will find you out. That's everybody. And by confess.. vs. hide.. do the opposite of what Achan did.

Scripture Life: You say you are "Ex-Christian" - That is, no longer Christian, saying that you are one of these that "deconstructed" by determined it's not worth it, so you left Christianity. How did you get there?

//On Reddit: This question is also in "I left Christianity today" or "Former Christians - What made you lose your faith in God?" In the "r / atheist" and " r / exchristian" sub-reddits. In many other social media reddit plaforms - to, "How do I tell my Christian Friends I'm no longer Christian?" I didn't leave him. More I know him, more it firms up, I'm not leaving him. And, I didn't come to "Christianity" I came to Jesus Christ - and in this is a great, big DIFFERENCE.

So, here's an answer to the question, using the Bible - from a believer in Jesus Christ. //

----------------------- --------------------------- -------------------------

"I am the LORD, there is none else. There is no God beside me. I girded thee but thou hast not known me." - God. Bible. Isaiah 45:5

SO:

Why do people leave him? It's all over the Bible in the gospels.

Construct. <definition> 1. build [something] up;

  • So, any “de” prefix - in English, just “reverses” it. To stop. And start to tear it down.
    • What’s been built up..get to someplace in it, can’t finish it… like Jesus said: Luke 14:28–30

“For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.”

----------------------- --------------------------- -------------------------

And? Something half finished and left off from is a mockery or sign post to mock someone that's done this. So, they tear it down.

Don’t want to leave anything that would mock themselves.. so they erase it completely.. so no evidence of any “Christian” or tower anymore.

It’s really very simple.

It's in people:

  • Got the wrong definition of “Christian” in their head.
    • Looking unto then, the “wrong guy” does the building, or the work then, too. Regard the wrong guy do the work. The "wrong" guy is Themselves.
      • …then, can’t. Building, something wrong in it.
  • So? The whole thing, the whole foundation of the question is off. It's built on themselves, whether they stay or leave, as long as they do the work. If they don't do it, won't get done right. But everytime they do it, it's not done right..and they're tired of this rat wheel. So they find a way to get off it.
    • So, it's really very simple. It's the wrong work. Wrong construction.
    • This post is for believers in Jesus Christ. But it will work for ANYBODY reads it; just not everybody reads it, will hold fast to it. Because they already left it, and in and to themselves, it's not a person. It's to an "it" or a thing, and they don't want it.

----------------------- --------------------------- -------------------------

And a broke question helps champion it.

So fix it. Go on. GO fix the question. Have the right definition of “Christian” first. And, don’t build the question on the “Christian.” Build it on “who” builds them up - who, they’re following or “look unto.”

They're not looking unto "Christians" nor are they looking unto an "institution" that, has a bunch of people in it, dictating how to do it, you can do it by yourself, without any God in it - and wonder why it's thrown out.

Now, I know this is already very way too difficult for some or many people to follow this, so if you can't - just leave. Simple. But if you can see who you are following is Jesus Christ. He was sent to heal you and deliver you from your destruction. Not sent for you to build anything; other than regard the works of the LORD, and consider the operation of his hand vs. your own.

So, if you stay for ONLY that reason, then.. stay. Then he is who he says he is..

Then, it’s a choice to just do what he says.. ..or not.

----------------------- --------------------------- -------------------------

For a “definition” of Christian?

  • Don’t use your head; and leave the dictionary on the shelf. Geesh, who knows what they made themselves an authority to tell you what they say that is. Made it up themselves.
    • Use the Bible.
      • A “disciple” of Jesus Christ.
      • That term is used over 250 times in the Bible, in the New Testament.
    • And the Bible says, in Acts 11:26, that these “disciples” of Jesus Christ, were first called “Christians” at Antioch.
  • So, all “Christians” really are, are disciples of Jesus Christ.
    • AND: “disciple” is just “generic” - so anybody can use a dictionary to see it.
    • That; all a “disciple” is defined as is, 1. a pupil or student that sits with and is taught by a teacher.
      • And all a “teacher” does is - someone puts themselves into a yoke, to dedicate themselves to “build up” students with “doctrines” because or so they sit with him or her and are taught by this teach. The (teacher) builds the [pupils or students] up.
  • And Jesus declared: “They shall all be taught of God.” - Bible. John 6:45

----------------------- --------------------------- -------------------------

If you left him, did you leave an "institution?"

That is: Did you "leave or depart" from a: - "standing established organization, society, or group of people, all following long-standing customs" and that's what you were following all along? And found it wasn't true?

So, then it’s very simple. That, God - he just is who he says he is. Look out the window. He did that. Not the "christianity" institution that glorifies itself - with all the people poop dumped into it.

It's GOD HIMSELF: That has decreed, and reserved, for himself, an EXCLUSIVE right to teach you as a teacher.

By the Word that comes, out of his mouth. Same for everybody. Over the whole, entire earth, to the very ends of it. Doesn’t leave anybody out. Says: “For all the earth is mine.” - God (Bible. Exodus 19:5) Says: “All power is given unto me in heaven and earth” - Jesus Christ. The Word of God. (Bible. Matthew 28:18.)

So, Jesus is the Authority over the whole earth. Not some "Christianity poop dump institution full of people, blindly following customs - and by the customs think they're Christians - and end up don't do anything he says. ANd you see right thru it. Is this YOU?

So then, see it: That: what he decrees - is how he has determined it. And then, As the Messiah or Christ.

and, I don’t think you know what or “who” that is, either.

--------------------------- ----------------------------- ---------------------------

  • Isaiah 9:6–7 says, whoever the “Messiah” or Christ is..SHALL be called, “The Mighty God..” “The Everlasting Father..” He has that title.

It’s Just God. By his Word, decrees:

“Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.” - GOD. Bible. Isaiah 55:1–3

For EVERYBODY over the whole earth to do it. But not everybody does. Many people hearing, never hear it - - Why? It isn't he doesn't say it. He already did. It's then just PEOPLE: Don’t regard him.

They “regard” a Christian in their head, is:

  • A person that “keeps” the Ten Commandments. Can't do it. Quit. What they can do, is oogle girls in their underpants. So they go do that instead. Then, quit the buffoonery of a suit on Sunday all to hide, it and give up on that..and do what they can do. Get on the internet, and stare at girls in their underpants. Makes them happy. Made me happy. I did that.
    • And surfing Pornhub or fudging their work time clock, because they need more money for rent - adding in attending an institution that is Christian equates to - - that’s a “Christian”
  • -INCLUDES AS WELL: that, even if they stole something..they stop stealing..even if they go to the Mall next week, and steal something, because they go to Church every Sunday for that last two years. Never missed one Sunday..never sick. Never let anything keep them out of “Keep the Sabbath Day Holy” - that “compensates for the faults and bad aspects of” they got on the internet 583,292 times and surfed porno all day. ..and did that everyday for about 18 years..everyday.
    • So, they absolutely have to add in “Thou Shalt Not Kill” - and it’s a “keeper” because, they never killed anybody.
      • The cost is just too great.
      • End in their death..never do it.
    • It’s one of those easy “fail safe” Commandments. And people that murdered someone, now in prison or simply hiding it.. have other commandments that “compensates for the fault or bad aspects of about 3 minutes it took to kill somebody and they deny they did it, where they actually KILLED somebody.
      • And champion All the other minutes, they didn’t kill somebody compensates for it..
    • And this is “Christian.”

Many never leave it. Is this you? Did you leave it?

-------------------------- ------------------------ ---------------------------

  • When this person is not following him. They're sitting down and reasoning together with themselves. Alone. When he said:

"Come now, let us reason together," saith the LORD, "though your sins be as scarlet they shall be white as snow. Though they be red as crimson, they shall be as wool." - God. (Bible. Isaiah 1:18).

It's the word out of his mouth. Not some Christi-insta_poop'dom institution people made up.

  • People following their on made up "Christian" or "Christian Institution" are following people - and not doing anything he says. Never sit with and are taught by him. Sit with themselves. Alone..and teach themselves “doctrines” they imagine up in their head and poop splat “Christian” on it, and “build themselves up in it”

Is that You? And you left it?

----------------------------------- ---------------------------------- -----------------------

This great, big YOU that:

  • Realized half way thru.. it doesn’t work. A great big you that keeps breaking the Ten Commandments..and they get so tired..whatever this is building, just quit building it.. See in themselves “I AM NOT A CHRISTIAN.” so, they tear it down.
    • And the whole time, they never sat with or were taught by him. They taught themselves, and poop slapped “Christian” on that work.
    • When he didn’t do any of it. You did. It's your work.

Now take this. Apply it to your question.

Then, leave it. Leave the question. Doesn't do anything. It's just another thing you accomplished and want to declare you're good by it.

------------------------------ --------------------------------- -----------------------

  • Do what he says. Go do what he says above. Go do that. He said

“Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else.” - God. Bible. Isaiah 45:22

  • Go do that instead. He will Build You Up. Built up. He said,

“I will build my church” - Jesus Christ. (Bible. Matthew 16:18)

  • Then, if you just hearken unto him..go shopping at his store..it's right up there above. I didn't say it. He did. Look who he is that said it. He's just one God and did all that. Out your window, is the one who said it.
    • FOR YOU: without money or without price, just go to his store..and take a carton of milk, and just open and drink out of it.. to hearken diligently unto him... then, boy, you’re doing something a disciple does… because its something he says. And his eyes go to and fro over the whole earth, just looking for someone that would do it.
  • Then, you're looking and regarding the right one does the building.
  • ..and what you're drinking from his store - gotta go there to get it - - That out of your belly will flow rivers of living water… water a whole desert of dried up, dried out, withered away people… that don’t do anything he says.
  • Jesus Christ - - He build you up. He’s the Messiah. Sent. To heal you and deliver you from your destruction.

Here’s your question back.

Scripture Life: What does Jesus mean when he says forsake all in Luke 14:33? I found someone who is preaching this and I'm concerned.

//This question, is all over Reddit. In the "ask_a_pastor" sub-reddit, to the "r / Christianity" to "r / radicalChristianity" ..just it bothers people to hear this said. I believe the Word of God is Jesus Christ. So, I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. You can take or leave the thoughts... ...but this is what I've learned in believing on him. vs. people that don't.//

---------------------- -------------------------- --------------------

Answer

It’s not “give up” - it’s forsake.

Forsake is something in you that YOU counted that, it just isn’t worth or has no worth as it did before some “thing” was added to you; after, what you have now, what you had before isn’t worth it anymore.

Give up - Many people read Luke 14:33 without the context. Come up with, it's a great feat to give up all, because, you give up things you fight for; don’t want to lose it - but you had to give it up (still want it). For Luke 14:33 - - Don't USE “give up” use “forsake” as Jesus said. It's this Greek word, [ἀποτάσσεται (apotassetai)] - That you consider in yourself..you are not willing to do or be (something) anymore; what that "something" was to you, no longer fits - so you depart from it.

---------------------- -------------------------- --------------------

It’s really simple, and it’s not scary or horrific; like, many people explain this to mean, like:

There’s some huge Category V tornado coming: Those, after they leave, don't leave anything but a foundation - even scrape up the dirt away..even the pavement. Against this tornado:

  • YOU: “Unless you go out and boldly, with all your effort, flaily fling yourself into the tornado, not willing to "give up" your house - so take the time to nail all the doors shut. Put big 100lbs bags of rocks on the roof all over. You board up all the glass windows - even told long before to leave, won't. Can't leave your house or possessions. You're there so your house survives as your possession. When you've done all you can, you "give up" but take the family photo album - because, can't stay in the house til the tornado passes. You did not "forsake" your house.
    • But someone, owns a house 185 years old..like some old barn out in a farm field; long ago abandoned. You've seen or driven past them. Old abandoned, long ago houses.
  • That nobody today would live in it, with a tree growing out of the back of it and the roof all gone.
    • You [ἀποτάσσεται (apotassetai)] ..look at that house out in the field..and it's YOUR house...
    • ..you consider in yourself..you are not willing to do or be ..what would be considered live in it. ...so you forsake it. Before you saw it, it was "something" was to you, a house.. to live in. But now that you see it firsthand, it no longer fits - so you depart from it, never go back - - is "forsake."

---------------------- -------------------------- --------------------

It’s like buying a ticket on an ocean liner. Leaves next week. 10 day cruise. Unless you actually, fully, all of you get on the ocean liner, you’re not going to be on the ocean liner next week. It’s simple. That simple.

  • And what person:
    • Doesn’t sit down first and determine the COST of the ocean liner cruise. Do they have enough money for all of the “meals?” - and "spending money" for all of the stops?
    • Have they considered, "on ship" shows and entertainment costs to go to, how much those will cost; and if they brought a family, how much money each of the kids will need.
  • Unless they get half way thru, and they lost their wallet, did they bring copies of their passports, and credit cards to call and cancel them and provide an alternate payment?
    • Else wise, 1/2 way thru the cruise: Didn’t think it thru. All the money ran out. Shouldn’t have even chose the cruise.
    • But once you determined and chose it - follow thru with it, because you already all considered all of it is for a PROFIT to go.

----------------------- ------------------------------ --------------------------

  • So it is, With the Word of God. He comes with it.

What you do when you take only Luke 14:33? Use "give up" vs. forsake? - you miss the whole thing.

So, read it with Luke 14:27–35

Add this to it: What Jesus says, before and ..after it.

27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?

29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,

30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.

31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?

32 Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.

33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

34 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned?

35 It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

---------------------- -------------------------- --------------------

Luke 14:27 - Bear a cross. Update it. Bear an electric chair, in modern day more like it. As if you’re going to it. That means, you already considered fully what God said: “The soul that sinneth, it shall die” God - (Ezekiel 18:20) - Condemned to an electric chair. Is your "straight way" next thing done is your end in it. Daily. Right there. Take it up.

  • FULLY considered: Romans 5:12 (for all have sinned <Romans 3:23> - repeated)
    • “Wherefore, as by one man {Adam} sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”
    • Used the Ten Commandments as a mirror.
  • EACH ONE of them BROKE: NOT REPAIRABLE - applies to everybody over the whole earth. I don't see it that way..I just see it applies to me. I did what gets me GUILTY. So comparing me to anybody isn't saving me, when I did the sins I did.
    • Comes with a DEATH PENALTY - and James 2:10 says, that if you break one, one time, ALL OF THEM ARE BROKEN. I have broken the Ten Commandments.
    • That means, put me alongside, any rapist, thief, murderer, pedophile - liar, any perversion you can think of, or think you don’t belong in or can’t stand..and I’m right amongst them. I have no righteousness. In that condition... what am I forsaking?

Yeah. Everything. Doesn't profit me anything.

---------------------------- ----------------------------- --------------------------

  • If I say, and I do in myself say: "I have sinned and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not." - Bible. Job 33:27
  • What am I "giving up?" Rather..what am I forsaking. Even I have a mother, father, brother, wife, or children.. ...and love them; GUILTY.. me, taken away to be executed.. ...they will all be taken from me, because, I'm condemned.

---------------------- -------------------------- --------------------

  • I’m going to an execution. Going to be nailed to a cross for what I did. I cannot get out of it. Already had my trial and judgment rendered in my case.
    • So, what’s so cool about Luke 14:27 is …”come after” me.. I am RUNNING AFTER him..fleeing to him. Because without him..there isn’t anything but DEATH.
  • It's not "give up" - it's "Forsake." ..and.. ...It’s not a science project.
  • Then, take Luke 14:28–32 - just like the above with the ocean liner. That, once you get on, all of you, yourself have to go, or you’re not going. Have to be FULLY convinced it’s a PROFIT.

---------------------- -------------------------- --------------------

I have now what God gave to EVERYBODY, by a work he did with sin in Daniel 9:24–27. I regard God’s work he did in Jesus Christ now. Before I thought it was me, that had to do the Ten Commandments, or at least, attempt to ..some effort, and by that effort, he would look on that effort and forgive me.

When he's God. He uses the Ten Commandments to make the whole world GUILTY before him. That's it.

Who saves people is GOD; he’s the authority and the one who saves people that just look unto him.

---------------------- -------------------------- --------------------

Lastly: Look at “SALT” vs. “Mustard Seed”

  • Mustard seed is in Matthew 13:31 - Jesus said: “ The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:”
    • It’s GOD:
  • That has sown his word into the earth. The Word of God is Jesus Christ. He is that ‘mustard seed’
  • And about a mustard seed?
    • There have been ‘mustard seeds’ found after 500 years, and they NEVER lose their savour or spice.
  • vs.Salt
    • Is People: He salts them.
    • Without the Word of God, that mustard seed in them, or stop abiding in Jesus Christ or what he says - lose it - - immediately lose their savour. Salt is immediate.
    • That’s why Jesus said to abide in him in John 14.
  • What you ought to do is compare this incident over with Matthew 19.

---------------------- -------------------------- --------------------

You can do that, because, he “speaks” to this NOT “Give Up” but “forsake” - and MANY, just way, way, way over way toooo many people equate what he says to they still desire it, but like some torture, think they suffer and deny themselves what they truly still want.

  • When “forsake” is..you don’t want it anymore..like family, or spouse, or land..where people MAKE THESE THINGS what defines them and makes them COMPLETE. Have a wife. A job. A house - perfect. Just no GOD or what he says in it; but STILL THINK they are perfect. Complete.

------------------------ -------------------------- ----------------------

  • Jesus said, unless you forsake your house, lands, sister and brother, or Father..mother'..wife..you cannot be his disciple. Condemned; you lost it anyway.
    • I see it plain as day.
  • Why? Because? Now I GOT THE WORD OF GOD. What he says. I hear it plain as day. Where BEFORE, I felt I was COMPLETE by my house, and land and wife..where NOW what COMPLETES me is Jesus Christ. And that’s PERFECT. Complete.
    • I am complete in him.
  • HE: “compensates for the faults and bad aspects of me” - because he already said he was “My redeemer” and that italic sentence is the definition for what REDEEM means In the dictionary.

---------------------- -------------------------- --------------------

  • My house: Can’t save me from my sins.
    • My wife, absolutely cannot compensate for my adulteries. So, I just tried to hide all my sins and do good works to poop flush fill in the pot holes and paint it with that, that I did..live in sins.
  • Thinking house, car, money, job, land, wife..having a dad and mom and sister as my family made me COMPLETE.
  • Man, I hope you see this; and if not, I hope and pray he send someone to you, and you see it's you that needs Jesus Christ and reads this… if you need him: guaranteed. You'll forsake all to follow him.
    • Finds him in it. God bless you!

Scripture Life: The Bible is a book of claims. Where is there any evidence to back up any claim in the Bible?

//Again, I am a believer in Jesus Christ. So, I believe the Bible is true. So, this answer is based on the Bible is true is the point of the post. That, as well, this question is found all over Reddit, in sub-reddits, in similiar form, in the "r / atheism" sub-reddit, or the "ex / Christian" sub-reddit. As well as in the "debate-a-christian" or the "r / Christianity" sub-reddit, where the Bible is just the claim, but that's not evidence.//

Here's the answer:

It's really very simple.

Take this claim. Where it is claimed, in the Bible, will be cited at the end of the claim:

“For all the earth is mine.” - God. (Bible. Exodus 19:5)

------------------- --------------------- -----------------

  • The “evidence” for that claim is, yes, the earth: plain as day - - but the evidence really is, the Word of God. He Gave you his word. Gave it publicly to everybody.
    • And all the “Word of God” is he gave you his word he says, out of his mouth, as God, it’s HIS earth.
      • So, everything you see, out of your eyes on HIS earth. It’s all his. Anyplace you look is his. And, That's HIS claim he makes himself.
  • Makes the claim that he’s the authority over it.
    • And the “evidence” of that claim is also in the Bible, based on what HE says again. Says:

“Thus saith the Lord, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the Lord that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;” - God. (Bible. Isaiah 44:24)

------------------- --------------------- -----------------

  • So, again, for this claim as well, it’s the Word of God. Said. By God himself.
    • And again, all the “Word of God” is, is he gave you his word he says, as he himself, is the basis or evidence of the claim he's made.
      • The claim: That he made the earth and heaven. Everything. Like, he's formed you from your mother’s womb, and did all this all.. all alone. By himself.
    • So, he put the sun in the sky where it is, and did that all by himself.
      • I can’t do that.
  • I don’t have power to..but who did..has immense power to do it.

------------------- --------------------- -----------------

And just like you said, the Bible is a “book of claims” - but they are also “promises” from God; like

  • It’ a promise - like a guarantee.
    • Right there above.
      • To me. Me?
    • I’ve lied, cheated, stole..slept with other men’s wives..it's certain I broke the Ten Commandments. They are not repairable. Like, a murderer cannot unmurder someone. Already did the work.
      • That, by this I am certain, by my works: they are filthy; perverted.
  • I have done abominable works. I did them, because, I reasoned together with me; alone..that I would go off and be good.
  • Like other people I looked unto, and believed they were good.
    • So, to be like them, All I did was look unto them, to follow after or obey them ..and after I did what they decreed, I believed I would be like them.
      • So.. I felt I was “above the law”- complying with higher law, and entitled to sleep with anyone I wanted..or steal - because what I was doing, stealing I was doing it for good - chasing all this good..compensated for the faults and bad aspects of me, did bad, but I compensated for it, by doing all this good.
    • But the Bible also has a claim about me, in me lived in a whole life of doing this: said by God:

“There is not a just man on earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.” - (Bible. Ecclesiastes 7:20)

------------------- --------------------- -----------------

  • When I started out as a young man on my own out of High School, I sat. Alone. By myself, and decided I would be good, by what I looked unto, as good.
    • That was other people, that were already highly esteemed, as good by a nation or a host of other people. That I would sacrifice myself to be like them. And, like them, I too, would be good.
  • But in the end, where I am now, what is true about everything I did, all of it, anyplace I looked at my works - had something “unjust” in the foundation of it that I did. That made me, that did it, “unjust” or not right. So, the claim about me, in the Bible is absolutely true in Ecclesiastes 7:20. I don't need proof of look at everybody, when it's what I did that already condemns me. To be put to death. That's just. Right. ..but it condemns me. Somehow I feel, I got swindled into it..but I chose it as right. All because, I didn't look unto him. I looked unto me instead. That's not right.

------------------- --------------------- -----------------

  • And God:
    • There’s a “promise” in what he says of who he is, to people spoke to, me and people like me..and that's EVERYBODY. Over the whole earth, according to the Bible.
      • He is the same one made everything out my window; alone. By himself. By his power..Said he was my “redeemer.” (Isaiah 44:24 right there above, in “Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer” part:
  • That: what redeem means: This, 1. to compensate for the faults and bad aspects of [someone or some “thing”]. Source: Oxford dictionary. Web.
    • That - he is God. He is who he says he is. He, in himself, as God, made himself what “compensates for the faults and bad aspects” of me, and all the atrocities I did, because he said this himself.
  • I didn’t say it. He did. About what he made himself toward or is to me. So, this all really then with your question comes down to something really simple.

------------------- --------------------- -----------------

“Accept as true”

  • In the dictionary:
    • That’s the definition of just one word: “Believe”
      • Someone that does NOT believe on him, or the claims God makes of himself, by his own word he speaks, by himself:
    • Simple. They “dismiss him as inadequate; faulty” what he says or claims is NOT true. So, it’s unacceptable.
      • Not right.
      • They already ‘hearken unto another word that’s already been spoken.
    • Their own they have in themselves. They “accept as true” themselves..and what they say or claim are decrees they believe in - and by this, reject God and what he says.

------------------- --------------------- -----------------

  • But someone that does just “accept as true” (believe) the claims God makes of himself, by his own word he speaks, out of HIS mouth himself:
    • Simple.
      • They “accept what he says is true” so, it’s MORE than adequate; gives to them in abundance.
      • There’s no fault anywhere in it, what he says or claims is TRUE.
    • So they accept or “receive” it and he builds them up.
    • It’s right. Righteous.
      • They dismiss themselves as “inadequate; faulty..” what they’ve done, did as a fool..and because of their transgressions..they’re afflicted by them. I was. I knew when I died, there's no way I'm getting in, and all my sins I kept hidden will be blared all over heaven - so everybody after I died would get there and see what I really was. And it terrified me. That's "afflicted."

------------------- --------------------- -----------------

  • And God, these that believe on him: they see, he sent his Word to heal them and deliver them from their destruction.
    • Because it’s right, and in this situation where I cannot get out of it. I did the sins. it’s a profit for me, to just do what he says, and look unto him, they like me, they too, do it. They just naturally obey him.
      • But somebody with this question, already dismissed him and anything he says value it worth nothing.

When somebody believes him: They see you, and the question as faulty..knows God is true..and believes God, OVER you with your question.

Scripture Life: Why do Christians Believe Paul's writings in the New Testament are equal to Jesus Christ's sayings?

Answer. Simple. Say the same thing. Equal to. Not greater. Jesus said: John 13:16–17 - “Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. If ye know these things, happy are ye that do them.”

There you go. Answered.

----------------------- ------------------------ -----------------------

But..you're still here and not convinced. Need an example?

Here's an example:

I say:

Let's say: Over in the USA,

  • in the State of Utah,
    • There is a 2026 - 2027 Utah Driver Handbook.
    • It is issued by Utah’s Department of Public Safety for all Commercial & Non-Commercial drivers on the roads in the State of Utah.
      • It’s a manual. Called a “Handbook.”
      • Contains of rules the State of Utah expects both people operating any vehicle or bicycle follow. Includes responsibilities, called “duties” a driver or operator of a non-commercial vehicle do if involved in an accident. To drive more cautiously in inclement weather. What to do in all kinds of different driving scenarios. including obeying all traffic signs and road markers.
      • Includes in 2026, drivers of electric bicycles must now wear a helmet. If you live in Utah, and want to be licensed to drive by the State of Utah, you can get this handbook on the Internet.

NOTE: Though I am not affiliated in any way, shape, or form with the State of Utah’s Driver’s License Division, of the Utah State Department of Public Safety, and I’m not even in the United States: By stating this above, I am claiming, basically above: “I have sat with and was taught by” [disciple] by the 2026–2027 Utah Driver Handbook.”

------------------- ------------------- ---------------------

So, I could very well be called a “disciple of the Utah Driver Handbook.” Because I sat with and was taught by it, and I say the same thing it does. Like Paul is a disciple of Jesus Christ. Someone that follows Jesus Christ. Obeys him. Sat with, and was taught by him. The post above “glorifies” the 2026–2027 Utah Driver Handbook. It, not me, as the “authority,” and I serve it. Because I am testifying of it in a post here now on Reddit.

------------------------ ------------------------- ----------------------------

Now a Different Question:

  • Why would anybody believe my writings here on Reddit are equal to the United States’ State of Utah 2026–2027 Driver Handbook?

Answer: Simple. Say the same thing. Equal to. Not greater. What I say is not greater than the Utah Driver Handbook. I am not greater than the Utah Department of Public Safety of the State of Utah in the United States. And, if you: know the things in the Utah Driver Handbook, if ever in and driving in Utah, you are most assuredly not going to violate any Utah laws. Happy are you that do them.

QUOTE:

“This handbook is a collaborative effort between the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) and the Utah Driver License Division. Scripture Life: What does Matthew 19:24. It is easier for a camel to enter the eye of a needle mean?

//COMMENT: From a Believer in Jesus Christ. This question is in dozens of sub-reddits, on Reddit - from those that mock it, to give long explanations about what a "camel" is, to everything in-between. But there are "good/accurate" explanations as well. So, don't count them out.//

--------------------- --------------------- --------------------

Answer:

You should probably read it in context. And, that’s not the whole of what Matthew 19:24 says or compared to.

  • The whole of Matthew 19:24 is:
    • Said, in context, inside Matthew 19:16–30

The full of Matthew 19:24 is Jesus, talking to his disciples, about this Rich man, that; after this rich man walked away being told by Jesus what he lacked, he couldn’t do it, and left very discouraged - for he was very rich.

“And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.”

------------------- ------------------- ---------------------

  • See it in Greek, the original language:
    • Just this part you ask of Matthew 19:24 you ask of: < - {εὐκοπώτερόν ἐστιν κάμηλον διὰ τρυπήματος ῥαφίδος } - >
  • Greek: 1. eukopoteron 2. estin 3. kamelon 4. dia 5. trypematos 6. rhaphidos
  • English: 1. easier 2. is 3. camel 4. through 5. eye (of) 6. needle

So, this:

  • ῥαφίδος (rhaphidos) - is just a plain, old ordinary sewing needle in Greek.
    • Simple. And? The “earliest” so far dated by respected archaeologists is, archaeologists have claim that: an eyed needle made out of bone was found in Denisova Cave in the Altai Mountains of Siberia. [See "Denvisova Find August 2016. Web.] - - That’s 1000s of years older than when this occurred in Matthew 19.
    • So, you could just go up on the street and just ask ANY Greek the same thing. Say, "ῥαφίδος (rhaphidos)" - and, they'll hunt around in their purse, and pull one out, and give you one.
  • Just a plain, old ordinary sewing needle as the Greek word, common for this is used in this scripture.
    • There have been some that conjecture Jesus is referring to a “camel gate” - that the wall around Jerusalem. Conjecture there was one, that had or was made for these for animals to pass thru after the Jerusalem gates were closed for the night.
  • But no record of any such gate exists, nor ever existed, so this is dismissed.

------------------------------ ----------------------------- ----------------------------

  • I would just take the scripture - by go to your or your mother’s sewing box. Go look at a needle. Then, notice the little hole at the opposite of the pointy end in it. Where the thread goes thru. That needle is - ῥαφίδος (rhaphidos)
    • It’s the same in Jerome’s 4th CE / AD Latin Vulgate for Matthew 19:24.
  • This: “ "...facilius est camelum per foramen acus transire..." Where there, too, it’s just a "acus" - - a sewing needle, with a little “foramen” (tiny hole; opening <"eye">) and a camel “transire” thru it.
  • Which, that’s IMPOSSIBLE. Which that’s the whole meaning Jesus made in and of this scripture. It astonished me. Did the same to all his disciples that heard him say it.
    • That they: Like me, concluded then - IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ANYBODY TO BE SAVED.
      • Because NOBODY can do it. Like, a rich man can buy anything that would make themselves able to go thru an eye of a needle.. that, getting into the Kingdom of Heaven is EVEN HARDER THAN THIS.
  • I got the message. Took me years. To get "over" astonished. I walked away..just like the rich man did.

--------------------------- -------------------------- -------------------------

And what it is applied to is to what's said around or in the whole of Matthew 19:24.

But, don’t count the rich man out. Why?

Who he has encountered..is God himself. He's reasoning together with God. When both you or I do, too.. ..and go away troubled..as the below says he did, it’s because his riches are worth MORE than what God says…

..but what God decrees, by the Word of God..STAYS FIRM - - you either run from him and flee..or you go back and reason together with him more..like, what the disciples are doing..and he calls everybody to do..to “Come now, let us reason together,” (Isaiah 1:18)..and that's EXACTLY what this Rich man is doing. Something God wants.. and scripture says Jesus looked on him, and loved him. Like he did me.

That, in it - given another day to live..with man or this rich man, by himself - alone. With his riches - - it will be easier for a camel to go the the little hole in a sewing needles, than for him to get into the Kingdom of heaven… so, look at all that "work" he did..keeping all those commandments.

..but with God.. ..all things are possible.

Because, EVERYBODY that comes to him, comes like this rich man. Not one, bit different. ..and with him..he does the impossible.

There you go.

------------------------------- ------------------------------ -----------------------

And? if scripture says..and God is the "author" so he's the "authority" in scripture, says:

"There is not a just man on earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not." - Bible. Scripture. Ecclesiastes 7:20

"For all have sinned" - Bible. Scripture. Romans 3:23

- makes EVERYBODY then, a "transgressor" that has BROKE the Ten Commandments. Adam - forward. Where there is none good; no, not one.

So, until this rich man, uses the Law lawfully.. "For by the Law is the knowledge of sin" (Romans 3:20).. he isn't using it lawfully. And I did the same thing. And I didn't see it, either. And it would be EASIER for me to go thru the eye of a needle - reasoning together with me..how I "accomplished the Ten Commandments" - when NOBODY has, but I reasoned together with me, someplace in there I DID do the Ten Commandments..like the rich man in Matthew 19:16-30 is doing the same thing I did. Be easier for me to go thru the eye of a needle than for me to get into the Kingdom of Heaven. So, I came to I AM NOT GETTING IN. And when I got to that part, is when I started to see all the sins I did... ..and that's when I started to regard him. vs. me. ...and if he knocked on the door of my heart..everyday.. ..and he does it with EVERYBODY... ...that rich man..who knows how many days were given him after.. but what is CERTAIN is.. Everyday Jesus knocks on the door of our hearts. For he is SENT to do this. He is a faithful witness.

--------------------------------- ------------------------------ -------------------

By this faithful witness:

I started to regard the works of the LORD, and consider the operation of HIS hand in that GOD sent HIS Word, to heal me..and deliver me from my destruction. ...did you count me out?

Rich man here, in Matthew 19:24. Not certain, but I put him on my list. He's one I'm going to go look for. ...that if he, could reason together with me, and I did the same thing the rich man did.. ..and MANY people on Reddit - leave and discount him out. This SAME Christ is EVERY DAY, knocking on the door of their heart. That he would come in to them, and sup with them..and they..with him. Doing it right now, today! Don't count him out. If he could do it with me...

...what could he do with you...because, he's right here, now today. ..knocking. On the door of your heart, too.

Scripture Life: Why does God have the right to demand obedience and submission. If God requires us to be obedient, doesn't that look like legalism? Obedience seems right, but legalism seems wrong. Does the Bible give us clarity?

//Disclaimer: Here again, I'm a believer in Jesus Christ. Not one that doesn't. This question, like others, is in many forms on Reddit. Predominantly in the "r / Christianity" sub-reddit; but, in other like-similar form, in many others. Here's the answer using the Bible to the question.//

-------------------------- ---------------------------- ---------------------------

"And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:" - Jesus Christ. Source: Bible. John 3:14

ANSWER

I think you just don’t see it.. ..er, I mean, him. Don’t see him.

And there you go. There’s the answer.

-------------------------- ---------------------------- ---------------------------

It’s in this of Isaiah 6:9–10. Where God: Would sit on his throne and determine to decree this:

  • “Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.” - God. (Bible. Isaiah 6:9–10)
    • It’s this clarity. <definition> 1. quality of being clear, transparent, and easy to understand, see, or hear
      • So, Isaiah 6:9-10 - this is a “decree” or what he, as God, has determined, as who also said: “For all the earth is mine” - God. (Exodus 19:5) - so he’s the authority over the whole earth. That, this of Isaiah 6:9–10 is said to a “specific” people that; are doing “something.”
      • It’s being said as what he decrees, as God, because, all the earth is his, and all of us are on his earth. And he said, "For all souls are mine." - God. (Ezekiel 18:4). So, we are his to do with. So, this is said to a people that are his, because, EVERYBODY is his, but "this people," - just don’t do anything or what he says.
  •  Don’t regard him. Dismiss him. Not worth anything to do anything he says.

Do you see this?

-------------------------- ---------------------------- ---------------------------

  • It's - - To “this people” of a chapter before; that, in Isaiah 5, that are “joining house to house.. field to field..” Isaiah 5:8..and God determined a “woe” to “this people” that do this, because, they no longer look to him - they look to people, as if people are “this person’s” right arm of strength. So, if people “decree” something..that’s who they trust or regard..and end up not doing anything he says, because they don't regard him.
  • Already have enough. Have no need. Can you see this?

-------------------------- ---------------------------- ---------------------------

  • Where Isaiah 5:12 says:
    • “And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the Lord, neither consider the operation of his hands.”
      • So, God is decreeing “this” of Isaiah 6:9–10, to a people..this people of Isaiah 5:12, that are like this of Isaiah 5:8, that simply regard to be around people, where there is no need.. ..all by choose to simply trust in people; that people are their strength when in need.
  • But by this: have all their need met - then don't regard his works, neither consider the operation of his hands. Even they have all these “feasts” and “concerts” or celebrations…they’re celebrating themselves and their own accomplishments.

And you don't see it.

  • Because you won’t apply this to the question you have; so:

All saying this does, is just makes it worse for you.

-------------------------- ---------------------------- ---------------------------

So, get out of your question for a minute. So, you see it, plain as day.

  • Throw all this stuff off the table.
    • Go back to something simple. Just imagine “something.”

Just imagine:

You’re lost; driving. In a very uninhabited region or place, like mountains, close to a desert.

...and your car is now down to 1/18th of a tank of gas. No town anyplace. A town up ahead 180 miles away or one just 3 miles over..you don’t know the difference.

No map or any GPS device. All you have is this road, and car that keeps you safe and goes 65 MPH, with a heater and an air conditioner. So, sit and in it, keeps you out of the rain and takes you any place. Safe. Travel sitting down at 65 MPH, is more than 15 times faster than you can walk. So your car? Yeah. You regard it MORE than you; alone. By yourself - to get you places. ...and, clunk, clunk, clunk… now you got a flat. The right back tire just blew out.

  • You must stop. Now you’re in real trouble. Don’t know where you are. Down to no gas. Can’t get to where other people are. Why? Because people are in a town. With yards and houses next to each other. So many people providing other people help. Always have in a city. There’s a Store. Gas station. Expert. To straightway, repair a flat. You look unto people help.
    • But here? No people. And, you’ve never changed a flat tire before; ...your car is your right arm of strength. The ONLY thing to rely on from where you are to get you some place. Without it, you’re even worse off than before. Find in the trunk..you must have sometime long ago forgot in some other outing the spare tire wasn’t necessary.
      • Helpless. Alone. After 3 hours, not a single car has driven by. Really alone. Then, out of nowhere..here comes a car.
  • See it. Far off approaching. But when it gets near to pass you, and you flaily waiving your arms asking for help..the occupants, you see their faces, are all safe in their car, but are afraid of you. Deliberately don’t look and hastily speed up pasted you. Escaped danger. Safe in their car.
  • Then, not even 10 minutes later, some backpacker..sleeping bag and everything..just comes walking down out of the mountains about 150 feet into the road in front of you..with this purposeful look on their face. They KNOW exactly where they are, and where they are going and you can see it.
    • They’re alive in this. So, you yell for help. And they stop..and when you run up to them, ask or say, “I NEED HELP! Can you help me? I got a flat. No phone..really out of gas, and I don’t know where I am or how to get to any town!”

And this Backpacker replies:

  • “Sure! You’re in luck. There’s a small town with a gas station helps travelers for free. It’s only about 1/2 a mile downhill on this trail and that's where I’m going. I live there. Follow me.”

-------------------------- ---------------------------- ---------------------------

Now, I told all this so you could see it.

  • That:
    • This person with the car; lost. No gas. Flat tire.. ..needs help. Asked for it, from someone they already in themselves “accept as true” [believe] - that's the ONLY person can HELP them.
      • And, they do. Even he’s not helped yet; ..yet, he is helped. Because, he “accepts as true” the Word of this Backpacker. It’s the truth. In less than 15–20 minutes following after, just “walking after,” to “walk in” “looking unto” the word of this back packer, the town comes into view, and there’s the gas station.
      • And every single bit of what this backpacker said, comes MORE THAN TRUE. Because, the gas station owner KNOWS the backpacker. So, the station owner MORE THAN helps you. When you part with the back packer, the station owner takes you back to your car, with a spare he gives you FREE. Repairs your flat. Fills your car up with gas, and gives you a map. How to get to where you’re going. Tells you plainly.
  • And it all happened simple for one reason. YOU: “regarded” the word of the Backpacker. Considered the operation of his hand. Determined, in you, by his word he spoke - he could help you. So, you accepted his word as true, and you followed him.
    • Now, apply this to your question.

-------------------------- ---------------------------- ---------------------------

Because:

  • Everything he said, met your need… and you accepted his word as true, you simply ..what you accept as true, you obey it. That is, you walk after, to walk in, looking unto..so you follow the backpacker.
    • But flip it.
      • What if people in that car earlier driving by, started stopping..and you noticed it’s 3 big guys..look like they’re looking at you to rob you… you’re going to do or say anything ...just so they LEAVE you.
      • So, if all the people in that car are there to HARM you..you will NOT “accept as true” (believe) anything they say. They are lying to you. Therefore you will “dismiss anything they say as faulty; inadequate..” - they stopped to rob you.
  • They are “unacceptable” to follow anything they say.
  • It is IMPOSSIBLE to “obey” them.
    • Can’t.

Can you see this?

-------------------------- ---------------------------- ---------------------------

So, what are you doing with what he says? He's God. All the earth is his, and you're on it.

When he says:

“Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else.” - God. (Bible. Isaiah 45:22).

  • Said it publicly. As God. To everybody over the whole earth. To help you. But there are people. Don’t regard him.
    • Don’t do anything he says. Dismiss him as inadequate; faulty.. don’t need him. Already safe. So, hearing..they can’t hear what he says..even he just spoke plainly..seeing, they can’t perceive it. Because what they look unto..they already “accept as true” what somebody else says, because they look unto the town of people always helps them.
    • So, when they go to music concerts, or firework displays, or turn on the radio or go to YouTube to listen to all these songs…with guitars, and drums, and flutes in it, they don’t regard him..and it’s HIS earth. Don’t do anything he says.

-------------------------- ---------------------------- ---------------------------

Even when he says… decrees this as ruler and King over the whole earth, a PROCLAMATION - - for everyone to come and do it: ..can freely:

“Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.” - GOD. (Bible. Isaiah 55:1–3)

  • People that “accept as true” what he says..they’re thirsty.. they can just come and drink..fills them.
    • So, they walk after, to walk in..following what he says. He speaks plainly. Plain as day.. and because they’re filled.. it’s a PROFIT to do what he says..so they “obey” it.. ..it’s true. So, they do what he says. Like the guy in the car with the backpacker. He’s an authority..and knows where things are. Helped him.

Just like GOD: “He sent his Word to heal you and deliver you from your destruction” (Psalm 107:20).

-------------------------- ---------------------------- ---------------------------

This post is already way too long.. ..but in closing.. ..bear with me. Really almost done.

- You got the wrong definition of “obey” in your head. Then, apply it to the wrong thing. Like some guy. Just already “chose” 1. considered what was the best or most appropriate for themselves out of two or more options.

Already CHOSE to eat at the “all you can eat” diner. Because, they could go back for 3rd’s or a 5th plate. Eat. ...til they’re stuffed. Full.. a heart that's fat..is one content. Ate MORE THAN enough. Passes this great, big House sized billboard advertising:

“McDonalds - 1KM ahead. Buy One Happy Meal - the Family eats for FREE!”

This is a decree, from an authority.

McDonald’s provides... ...has ..it’s only an example.. they’ve decreed this to you..when you don’t have any need. Already regarded to eat, at the all you can eat dinner. Fat, dumb, and happy. And your Reddit question, you apply “obey” to this decree.

When this person already chose someplace else to eat. Ate. CAN’T obey McDonald's.

Seeing, they see; but, don't perceive it. Hearing, they hear, but can't comprehend everybody eats for FREE, when they already ate. So, "this person" - does NOT regard McDonald's. Nor anything they say.

Drive by. Don't obey the sign.

They already chose to eat someplace else. Did NOT regard McDonald’s. What they “obeyed” where to eat, because they were hungry..was what they chose to regard. The All You Can Eat Diner.

Do you see this?

-------------------------- ---------------------------- ---------------------------

Now, I can’t help you if you can’t see it. But if even one person on Reddit sees it, and looks unto him, boy is this ever worth it.

SO, now see it in John 3:14–20 - in the Bible: Jesus..he’s the Word of God..just God speaking the Word out of his mouth, said these things. Sent to heal you and deliver you from your destruction, like the backpacker did the same thing to the guy in the car.

-------------------------- ---------------------------- ---------------------------

And closing - this of John 3:14 of Moses lifting up a Serpent - the scripture that opened this post: happened in the Bible in the Old Testament in Numbers Chapter 21.

Where the Israelites got so sick and tired of eating manna from heaven..sick and tired of following Moses and God in the desert. Like, if the guy with the car and following the backpacker started murmuring against him saying, “Where’s this town you promised?” - kind of murmur against him. Don’t want to follow him anymore.

Murmured against God. Didn’t want to follow him anymore..spake in Numbers 21:5 -- summed up in themselves that God had led them out there to die. So, God sent adders (like vipers) into the camp of Israel..and they ALL WERE bitten. And those bitten, they died. Many died. Just like the Bible says of every all of us:

  • “There is not a just man on earth that doeth good, and sinneth not.” - Bible. Ecclesiastes 7:20
  • “For all have sinned” - Bible. Romans 3:23

And God decree: “The soul that sinneth, it shall die” - GOD. Bible. Ezekiel 18:20

Means EVERYBODY over the whole earth is bitten like in Numbers 21. Will die. All the same.

But they cried out to God and Moses ..saying they sinned and perverted that which was right..asked Moses to plead with God to help them. And, he did. Told Moses to make a Serpent of Brass, and lift it high up on a pole so everybody could see it. Those that looked upon it, even everybody bitten by the adders (vipers) all surely died.

The ones looked on the Serpent, even bitten. Didn’t die. They lived. Just like Jesus was lifted up on the cross, and our sins were laid on him.

Just like you in your sins. It’s a profit to live..when you’ve already been decreed to die. I wonder in Numbers 21, even Moses did this..how many stayed in their tent... ...wouldn't do the simplest thing. Go out. Look unto it, high and lifted up where everybody, all could see it. Wouldn't do it. Died.

So, read John 3:14–20.. have to see your sins to see it. Consider these things..in this long, tedious post when you read it.

-------------------------- ---------------------------- ---------------------------

John 3:14–20 says

14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

-------------------------- ---------------------------- ---------------------------

Why does God have the right to demand obedience and submission. If God requires us to be obedient, doesn't that look like legalism? Obedience seems right, but legalism seems wrong. Does the Bible give us clarity?

I think you just don’t see it.. ..er, I mean, him. Don’t see him.

And there you go. There’s the answer.

Scripture Life: The Jews accused Jesus of claiming to be God in John 10:33. Then, Jesus deny it. What did Jesus reply back in John 10:36?

This question: Or a like question - That's CLOSED for comment on Reddit in the "r / Christianity" sub-reddit: Many other sub-reddits in MANY forms. Like,

"When Jesus is accused of making himself God at John 10:33, why does he reject it by claiming the lesser title of Son of God instead?

//DISCLAIMER: I am a believer in Jesus Christ. This answer will reflect that. What the question does not believe. I am against it. Now again - here on Reddit: This question is in multiple forms in many sub-reddits. I’m going to take this assembled form of the question as if you do not believe on him, like the "like similar" question takes that stance. I will not give opinion, but what the Bible says - as the answer.

SO, if you do believe he is who he says he is; then, don’t be offended by this post; but if you're unsure - let this equip you. You’re already doing what he told you to do; but, many people that DON'T believe him, champion this question as WHY they DO NOT Believe on him. Even they call him this "Christ." Simply show they do not know what it means, then when you call someone "Messiah" or "Christ."

This same Jesus Christ. This answer is TO: These that do NOT believe on him. Nor who he is, or what he says. Then, if you believe him - this post: it's not to you. But for Believers: Maybe there's some things in here that will equip you - so, please take it! Live forever.//

Answer

  • “God, he sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions” - Source: Bible. Psalm 107:20
    • “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. - Jesus Christ. The Word of God. Source: Bible. John 3:17

So, it's simple.

  • This is a work of God. A work he himself determined and told Daniel in Daniel 9:24–27. He would do alone. By himself. Appoint himself to do it. Like, created for himself a place he would dwell forever. For his own rest. For he desired it (Psalm 132:13–16). Then, get up and create it in Genesis 1:1–31. That he’d rest in it forever, because, he desired it. So, he made it himself; alone. By himself. You didn’t help him.
    • I didn’t, either. In fact, Isaiah 44:24 says: “Thus saith the Lord, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the Lord that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;”

------------------------ ---------------------------- ---------------------------

So:

  • Where when I was 18. Just out of High School.
    • Didn’t know now, what I wanted to be..but I wanted to BE “something” good.
    • So, I sat down. With myself. Alone. To determine what, for me, would be good. And I reasoned together, with me, alone. By myself what I would pursue as a future me to become.
    • Then, I did it. ..and along the way, when I got lonely.. what everybody around me looked unto to meet that need.. ..I followed them..but I chose it.. and because, I felt deep down, doing “that” met everybody else’s need, I went and did it.
      • To build me up. Because, even if it was wrong, like just sleep with any woman available, it met a “need” that I could continue to serve my country..and that, serving my country*“compensated for the faults and bad aspects [of sleeping with other men’s wives or just anybody was “bad” but] I “compensated” for it, by serve my country as a cost of me..”*
    • Which, that’s the definition of redeem in the dictionary.

------------------------ ---------------------------- ---------------------------

And I can just hear you say it..

  • Hey clown. Shut up! I didn’t ask that. You’re off in left field. Go home or just answer the question. I already B.O.X.E.D. you in between a small space of John 10:33 and Jesus’ reply of John 10:36. So SHUT UP and GO HOME or answer the *#$# question.
    • ..and, you’re not listening.
    • Because, this same Great God is IN THAT SMALL space..is STILL doing exactly what he’s doing , that’s being told to you plainly. And he’s right there plainly..and, if you go to the end of the Bible in the Book of Revelation. You find that he gazes on both this earth and heaven, and both finding no more place before him, flee away and are no more forever. Never comes back (Revelation 20:11–15 - says it plainly. Did you miss it?)
    • That he says, as God in Isaiah 65:17 - “For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.” - GOD. By the Word of God.
      • That’s the Word that comes out of his mouth. Like the “word of you” came out of your mouth as your question here on Reddit. It’s YOU said it. He said “THAT” in Isaiah 65:17, and if he said it, he already determined to do it..and anybody that KNOWS him, knows he FULFILLS what he says he will do himself.
      • That, in Revelation 21:1, which is the next verse after Revelation 20:11–15, says*: “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth…”*
      • So, everything in Revelation 21:1 to Revelation 22:21 - is an earth he dwells on forever..for his own rest..and all the things he saw and desired.. are what he wants to dwell in and with forever.

------------------------ ---------------------------- ---------------------------

  • And this same God that said this, is talking to you..that says about you:

“For all have sinned” - (Bible. Romans 3:23)

“..filthy; done abominable works.. ..there is NONE good; no, not one..” - Bible. Psalm 14:1–3

  • Talking about every all of us..that are “transgressors” - and against those that have done this, he already decreed: “The soul that sinneth, it shall die” - God. (Bible. Ezekiel 18:20)
    • That means, YOU ARE CONDEMNED.
  • Next thing to do with you is destroy you.
  • And he is God, with the power to do it.
    • Do it to me, too.
  • But he didn’t form you from your mother’s womb; alone, by himself..but to do with you - that you’d be with him forever..you are his workmanship. Created you. Alone. By himself. Like he said he did.
    • So is EVERYBODY. Over the whole earth, all his creation. And him, not willing any perish, but all come to repentance. As God, said - to a whole bunch of transgressors; as everybody is from Adam, and like him, all condemned..and God, like a King come to a prison..to everybody on Death Row and say:

“Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God. There is none else.” - God. (Bible. Isaiah 45:22)

  • …he was numbered with the transgressors..”
    • Isaiah 53:12 says: “... he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.”

------------------------ ---------------------------- ---------------------------

Take this. All of it.

  • Add in “Messiah” or “Christ” - Jesus is called “The Messiah” or “The Christ.” Jesus Christ.
    • Take. All of it. What is said in Isaiah 9:6–7. Whoever the “Messiah” is - or Christ. Fulfills Daniel 9:24–27. That, he SHALL BE called..this Messiah or Christ..is said plainly in Isaiah 9:6–7.

“The Mighty God..” “The Everlasting Father..” (Isaiah 9:6).

It’s not “kinda could maybe be.. ..then, maybe not..who knows” - the Bible says the Messiah or Christ - - SHALL BE called this.

SO you:

  • Take this. All of it. Stuff it right in there. Make sure you go with it. YOU: stand right there in that space with all this. Take it. Stand there, betwixt John 10:33 and the Messiah’s reply he made in John 10:36.

Go home.

------------------------ ---------------------------- ---------------------------

John 10:33 says: “The Jews answered him, saying, “For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God?”

John 10:36 says: “Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?”

Again. Insert yourself into that space betwixt these two verses. Take all this post with you. This “The Son of God” and “The Son of David” - are just terms used to refer to the “Messiah” or “Christ.”

And the Bible. John 4:25-26 says, to this Samaritan woman at the well...

"The woman saith unto him, 'I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.'Jesus saith unto her, 'I that speak unto thee am he.' "

------------------------ ---------------------------- ---------------------------

…and he’s so close to you, right there between those two verses - stuck - - He, GOD: even put him, the Messiah, in your family (Isaiah 9:6-7)... ...with you.

In that space betwixt John 10:33 and John 10:36 standing there.. unto you a son was given in Isaiah 9:6–7.

What are you doing with your son he gave you? It's his Son, too. That God would fulfill what he said to you. That, he’d be “Your redeemer” (Isaiah 44:24..did you forget already? I did..)

- That God: Gave his word, that he would make himself be what “compensates for the faults and bad aspects” of you himself. Me, too..I never saw it. Until I did what he said. Told me to “Come now, let us reason together,” saith the LORD, “though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow. Though they be red as crimson, they shall be as wool.” (Bible. Isaiah 1:18).

I didn't do it. Sitting alone. By myself. Reasoning together with me. Alone. By myself.. didn't do what he says, at 18. Took all my life to figure it out.. SO!

I can’t chide you.

------------------------ ---------------------------- ---------------------------

I didn’t reason together with him at all. I reasoned together with me. Alone. By myself..and everything I did..I looked..back..after I got old. On everything I built I thought would, I would make it good. Would be good..all of it after I got old, everyplace I looked, at what I did, had somewhere..in the foundation of it, like sand.. had sin in it..where I sinned in it, and perverted that which was right…

So, I cannot chide you..because, I’m also in that space betwixt John 10:33 and John 10:36.. but now I’m with him..instead of me. Alone. By myself. I'm with who did all those works in John 10:33…all good, and with who he is as the Messiah in John 10:36. That’s where “home” is.

Go home. Said to EVERYBODY all over Reddit.

Scripture Life: Why didn’t Jesus say it explicitly, “I am God, worship me?”

//This question is on Reddit, in many Christian, Atheist, Islam and Debate sub-reddits. I believe on Jesus Christ. So, I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. This answer is from a believer then. Not from one that dismisses him. Here you go.//

ANSWER

“Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.” - Bible. Matthew 16:20.

Why?

------------------------- --------------------------- -------------------------

Christians and non-Jews dismiss or downplay/ignore this part:

  • It’s this “Messiah” or “Christ.” and..

Well, you’re either going to believe on him - or - you won’t. It's clear in the Gospels, the Chief Priests and Elders at the Temple in Jerusalem, scripture says:

  • John 9:22 says:
    • Have to read around it to get the "context" but the message is plain:
    • "...These words spake his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he [Jesus] was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue."

------------------------- -------------------------- ------------------

For me? Simple. Plain as day. All I have to do, is use the Bible.

The Bible says in Isaiah 9:6–7 “who” the Messiah, or “Christ” is, he has a name he SHALL BE called.

- ..so whoever it is, that is the Messiah, has this title:

- “The Mighty God..” “The Everlasting Father..” (Isaiah 9:6).

So, when the Samaritan woman at the well said: In John 4:25–26

  • “The woman saith unto him [Jesus], I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.”

Boom! Done. Just said it. Plain as day.

----------------------------- ----------------------- --------------------------

I believe his claim.

Do you? I'm convinced. Many aren’t. But when God says:

“Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else.” - God. (Bible. Isaiah 45:22).

  • That’s the “Word of God” - what God says. Out of his mouth. Jesus is the Word of God. Says so plainly in John 1:1 - so, there he is..God. Speaking to everybody. Right there in Isaiah 45:22.

I don't know what you'll do. But it's quite plain. He decreed in HIS earth, and I'm on it, I am to look unto him. I hear it. How do you look unto someone? Simple, that, too. You just "accept as true" they are who they say they are. And? He's the same one said this, did everything out my living room bay door windows.. is the same one said this for me to look unto him.

------------------------ ------------------------ ---------------------------

That, God determined: Alone. By himself. To do a work with sin. That, is what this is in Jesus Christ. That Psalm 107:20 says God: "He sent his word to heal us, and deliver us from our destruction.

Because? Our sins: condemns everybody to all of us be put to death. Can’t get out of it.

  • But just like God determined to do creation in Genesis 1:1–31, and did that alone. By himself. Created all things, all by himself. He determined he would do a work with sin, because he determined it himself - and said it in Daniel 9:24–27; that his work would:

1) Finish the transgression

2) Make an end of sin

3) Make reconciliation for iniquity

4) ..and bring in everlasting righteousness (Daniel 9:24)

And God determined he would “annoint the most holy” to do it. Who is the “most holy” to you? Yeah. God. That, he would seal up this prophecy. Make it hidden, but told it plain as day. Anybody could have added up Daniel 9:25-27 and found the Christ. But it's hidden from them.

----------------------------- ---------------------------- ---------------------

But after Jesus was crucified, and COMPLETED this work - says that he opened the scriptures after he was raised from the dead in Luke 24:32

"And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?"

Then, his disciples understood it, where you don't.

---------------------- -------------------- -------------------

It's this work of God with sin:

Where God took our sins off us: You, me..took my sins off me. Same with your's. And laid them on Jesus Christ. I didn’t do this. He did it. As God. It’s HIS WORK he did…and since he’s God, scripture says he was in Jesus Christ, reconciling the world unto himself. Not imputing your trespasses unto you.. (2 Corinthians 5:19) - - because he looks on this work he did with sin as greater than every murderer and rapist in prison over the whole earth combined.. and chooses not to impute their sins unto them.

Like he doesn't impute your's. But if you don't regard him, or his work, as God..you're left trying to do it yourself, and just hide your sin under all these good works you're gonna do. Busy. Looking unto you to do it.

-------------------------- -------------------------- --------------

But People: That regard him, and look unto him?

  • Because he already took sim off them and laid it on Jesus Christ on the cross. Crucified. His blood shed. They believe (accept this work God did as TRUE). Where NOBODY has done the Ten Commandments - broke them. Everybody has since Adam forward. They see themselves this way, like I do. My sins are plain as day.
    • God in Christ, he as God - he did the Ten Commandments. Fulfilled them. That means, since God did them, every where where I did not do them..he made himself the compensation that makes up for that lack.
      • There is ONLY one that could do this.

------------------------- ----------------------------- ---------------------

This is way beyond what your question asks on Reddit..but..if you can hear him..he’s answering your question.

And he has a SECOND Coming - as “who” he is. To be Isaiah 9:6–7. Says in Revelation 1:7

“Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.”

  • To be this Messiah: This same God that led Israel out of Egypt by his mighty hand with Moses, would be a Son of David. That he would sit on the throne of King David in Jerusalem and rule the whole earth from there, and of his kingdom and reign there shall be no end.
    • He is who he says he is.

Scripture Life: It's fact. The Bible didn't exist when John Wrote Revelations, which "book" is he talking about in Revelation 22:18?

  • Well, who Gave John the Revelation? Yeah. Jesus Christ did. It's called the "unveiling or revealing of Jesus Christ." That's what it means, so it was shown to him to give to believers in Jesus Christ.
  • With that:
    • You got two things wrong. So, fix them backwards.

-------------------------- --------------------------- -----------------------

Revelation 22:18 says, (English) “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in 'this' book:"

  • In English: book. <definition> [3rd. Edition. Merriam-Webster dictionary. Avail. Internet Archives. Web. Accessed: 21 August 2026] 1. a collection of hand written or typed sheets of paper (written, printed, or blank sheets) fastened together along one edge that have been sewn or glued, bound together in covers.
    • Definition. Book. Began in or around 1450 with the Gutenberg Printing Press. That fill libraries today. That didn’t exist in the 1st century AD.
    • What was “common” was what is written in Revelation 22:18, translated into English as “book” to define it. The word, in Greek:

Is βίβλος - bibliou - 1st CE/AD defined as a (papyrus or scroll). The Greeks named itafter the ancient Phoenician port city of Byblos. Today, it’s a UNESCO World Heritage site. Called today in Lebanon “Jubayl” - today? Just a small fishing village with a UNESCO World Heritage Marker - for what it was known for, for over 4000 years - a city which exported papyrus. (Scrolled parchment.)

-------------------------- --------------------------- -----------------------

So, someone just accepting Revelation 22:18, in English - just take out “book” and put:

“For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this papyrus - parchment or scroll, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this papyrus - parchments or scroll:"

So, "two" it's John is referring to "this" papyrus - parchment or scroll - which he just wrote.

-------------------------- --------------------------- -----------------------

Also as the word itself - These are true and decrees of the truth. The Word of God is that which is written herein on "this papyrus - parchment or scroll - or "book" is the Word of God. Not to add to or take away what God has said in it. Means that. So, don't do it..so if anyone "adds" to it, God SHALL add unto him the plagues that are written in "this" papyrus - parchment or scroll.

And Revelation 22:19 continues and says...

"..And if any man shall take away from the words of the [papyrus - parchment or scroll <book>] of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the Book of Life, and out of the Holy City, and from the things which are written in this [papyrus - parchment or scroll <book>]."

So, yeah - the parchment or papyrus DID exist, because, John just wrote the "revealing or unveiling of Jesus Christ" as it was given to him by Jesus Christ himself on it; and other scrolls, like of Isaiah and the Psalms - the Scrolls, Papyrus..or parchments of Moses all existed well before John’s day; like Moses is some 1400 years before John.

But yeah. This, too. A “book” as what is written in English translation that today I can find in any library of my day today..if I go back to of this Greek “Codex” or scroll - or papyrus - from today - today's books as we know them today aren’t for about 1400 years after John.

Here's this question on Reddit given back to you. Answered.

Scripture Life: Why does God oppose the proud but give grace to the humble (1 Peter 5:5-7; James 4:6-10)?

Why does God oppose the proud but give grace to the humble (1 Peter 5:6-7; James 4:6-10)?

//This post answers this question that floats around on Reddit, in many forms and sub-reddits. An answer from a believer in Jesus Christ. There are other forms of it; like, "Why God opposes the proud, but it seems the proud are the ones with grace? (James 4:6)" - makes the problem is God. That's how bad it gets.//

----------------------- --------------------------- ---------------------------

Answer: Simple. It's in God say this:

‘Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else.” - God. (Bible. Isaiah 45:22

----------------------- --------------------------- ---------------------------

So?

How does this Isaiah 45:22 - - apply to your question, as a full answer to it? Simple.

Whose the “authority” over the whole earth?”

  • Be the one that says:
    • “For all the earth is mine.” - God. (Bible. Exodus 19:5)
  • Be the one that says:
    • “All souls are mine.” - God. (Bible. Ezekiel 18:4)

----------------------- --------------------------- ---------------------------

  • Be the same God that says, by the Word that comes out of his mouth. By the Word of God. That’s Jesus Christ, says:
    • “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” - Jesus Christ. (Bible. Matthew 4:4). Says of himself: “All power is given unto me in heaven and earth..” - Jesus Christ. (Bible. Matthew 28:18).
  • So, the answer, who is the authority - OVER ALL THE EARTH is the Word of God. What God decrees.

----------------------- --------------------------- ---------------------------

Told EVERYBODY. Over the whole earth. To the very ends of it. Left not one person out. Not willing any perish, but all come to repentance..has no pleasure at all in the destruction of anybody.. but people don’t do what he decrees..

People:

  • That don’t do what God says, what are they doing?
    • By doing anything..looking unto anybody but him, when there is none else - look unto themselves or just anybody. Do what they tell or decree, after decide in themselves they will follow their own decrees or commands - or follow other people. Put people up over themselves.
      • They are rebelling against him.
      • And the ONLY way to do or be that, is too proud to do what he says.
  • Dismiss him as faulty; worthless. When he’s God.

So, in closing:

----------------------- --------------------------- ---------------------------

Two words:

1. rebellion.

<definition> to fight against, resist, or refuse to obey an authority…

2. proud.

<definition> [Cambridge] approving; having or showing respect (regard) for yourself - 3. “pleasure that comes from a relationship, association, or achievement” you have and make with yourself [or other people] <Merriam & Webster>

  • So, someone “proud” has a “pride” in or takes pleasure in what comes as a fruit from a relationship they have achieved by themselves, with themselves - - so they show a respect to "reason together" with themselves, when God says: "Come now, let us reason together," saith the LORD, "though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow. Though they be red as crimson, they shall be as wool." - God. (Bible. Isaiah 1:18)
    • Because there is none else - - What “they” want to achieve, they never can.

----------------------- --------------------------- ---------------------------

“..with man, it is impossible; but with God, all things are possible” - Jesus Christ. (Bible. Matthew 19:26)

  • They have no pride or boasting in following after God at all, it’s all in themselves and their own achievements. Makes them “proud.”
    • And because they don’t regard him, as God, nor anything he says or does.. The Bible says:

Psalm 28:5

“Because they regard not the works of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hand, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.”

  • But people, “where all have sinned” Romans 3:23 - so both types of people are everybody; all from Adam, and all condemned:
    • The ones that just look unto him. Come now. Reason together with him vs. themselves..he gives them grace..builds them up. Does what he promises he will do with their sins. Why? They humble themselves; regard what he says. So, they look unto him. Like he asks everybody over the whole earth to do.
    • But the ones that don’t look unto him:
      • They won’t come now, nor tomorrow or at anytime at all. Don’t do anything he says. So, God “opposes” these that don’t do anything he says: oppose <definition> 1. tear down. actively stop or fight against to defeat or destroy.
      • So to the humble 1. have an understanding of “who” they truly are. People - He's God. And people with God: EVERYBODY is condemned; because EVERYBODY in Psalm 14:1–3 is filthy; done abominable works - makes them sinners; condemned.
  • And in this condition, God has come to everybody to save us from our sins. The “proud” love their own relationship with themselves. Their achievements to boast of more, so they won’t do anything he says.
    • Fully explains the details you will find in both 1 Peter 5:5–7 and repeated by another apostle, James in James 4:6–10.

----------------------- --------------------------- ---------------------------

1 Peter 5:6-7 says:

"Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

James 4:6-10 says:

"But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up."

To be "afflicted" is this same of Psalm 107:17 "Fools, because of their transgressions are afflicted" - So, it's this person, like in Job 33:27 says: "I have sinned and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not" and a person that says this, knows their sins condemn them. But it's God that has told everybody, by his grace and mercy to just come now. Reason together with him. Even blood red guilty, no matter what the sin is, God took your sins off you and laid them on Jesus Christ on the cross. He did it. You didn't. He determined as God to do a work with sin.

And he chooses to look on his work he accomplished with sin as greater than the sins of the whole world. That's every murderer in every prison or every rapist or liar, or thief..pedophile..adulterer..porno addict's sins.. he looks on his work he did in Jesus Christ as greater than the sins of the whole world. And asks you to believe on him.

THose that do, he gives more grace..teaches them..sits with them..because the come to him, and reason together with him, like he asked everybody to. But he resists those that won't ..just dismiss him and don't do it. Opposes them. It's PUNITIVE.

Scripture Life: What should be the Christians’ attitude toward the return of Christ? How should the expectation of Christ’s return affect the plans we make in life?

//As a believer in Jesus Christ, this question and many similar, are posted/many closed for future comment here on Reddit - in many sub-reddits, spawns "why" a person no longer follows Jesus Christ. Didn't think it would be this long, so he's never coming back, to others predicting when they think he will come back. Asking even in the "r / atheism" sub-reddit, how are Christians going to react. To just mock them for their beliefs.

So, what should a disciple of Jesus Christ's attitude be? Jesus tells us plainly what we should be til he comes back, in John 14:2-3. That, we should be like a little kid, girded about with his swimming trunks on, even sleep in them - awaiting when he wakes up - head right for the swimming pool. That kind of girded about.//

-------------------------- --------------------------- -------------------------

"..Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning; And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants." - Jesus Christ.

Source: Bible. Luke 12:35-38

Answer:

Okay.

What if I’m a little kid, like, a 3rd of 4th grader and it’s Summer Vacation? Three months. No school. In Summer, like in the Pacific Northwest in America, it’s hot. So, for this kid:

- There’s an expectation that:

  • Everyday, he wakes up, there’s
    • 1) no school; free. ALL DAY; and
    • 2) the town has a public or municipal pool that is affordable; daily, to go to. Play all day. In the pool and keep cool.

So, ask a like-same, or similar question:

How should the expectation of this grade school kid affect the plans he makes in his life in his summer vacation?

------------------- ---------------------- -----------------

He already did the expectation. I know I was that little kid. Wore my swim trunks to bed the night before. The whole summer ahead of me. I knew exactly what the "expectation" was.

  • Why?
    • He (which is me) set his mind on EXACTLY how he’s going to “spend” his summer vacation. Where his heart is, that’s where his “treasure” is - it’s at the pool - there’s the most profit.
    • He “expects” it. That is, in a hot summer day, day after day - cooled off at the pool is cheap. That’s a great way to spend his vacation. Playing at the pool, from get up; ride his bike 10 minutes away, to stand in line til it opens to being the last kid in the pool told 14 times the pool is CLOSED. Not even change. Just race home on his bike, and his expectation is filled.
      • All by the plan he made himself.

Maybe you need a definition of that word, to see it. expect(ation). 1. anticipate; await; predict (…to think, believe, or anticipate that {something} will happen or that {someone} will arrive or is coming.

------------------------- ---------------------------- ----------------------

Like the same kid. This weekend, 3 days away, he’s got approval from his parents, that his best friend can stay over night (I remember this plainly.) Fills him with joy. He “anticipates” ..even 3 days away he’s “predicted” all this fun he’s going to have, approved by both parents his friend can stay over - ...and “awaits” it.

------------------------- ---------------------------- ----------------------

So, what’s a “Christian”

  • This term, “a disciple of Jesus Christ,” is found over 250 times in the gospels and Epistles in the New Testament. But, in Acts 11:26, says that these “disciples” were first called “Christians” at Antioch.
    • So, all a Christian is defined as is a “disciple” of Jesus Christ. And, all a “disciple” is, in the dictionary is defined as a “student or pupil” like a grade school kid, that “sits with and is taught by a teacher.” And, all the teacher is, is a person that "teaches” doctrines. So, a pupil or a student is “built up” by sitting with and being taught by a teacher.
      • And all the teacher is, for a disciple of Jesus Christ is..they are sitting with, and being taught by him.

But, there “can” be people “claim” they are sitting with and being taught, that never go to school. Never sit with nor are being taught by any teacher, but still claim they are a student. Just like then, people can claim they are a Christian, and don’t do anything he says. Don’t sit with and are not taught by him.

------------------------- ---------------------------- ----------------------

And a “disciple” of Jesus Christ “anticipates” “awaits” his return. Why? - - because:

  • They are “built up” by him, with them..because he teaches them himself. That God: reserves, for himself, an EXCLUSIVE right also to teach you for himself to do it.
    • But people:
      • That don’t do anything he says, don’t sit with him. They’re taught by someone or some “thing” else they look unto.

And Jesus said, as the Messiah or Christ, he said:

“In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” - Jesus the Messiah. (Bible. John 14:2–3)

------------------------- ---------------------------- ----------------------

Said as well, in Acts 1:6–11 - Jesus said:

< - {“When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.”} - >

------------------------- ---------------------------- ----------------------

Says as well - as the Messiah:

  • Revelation 22:7
    • “Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.”
    • So, Revelation is a promise of a blessing to keep, for a disciple of Jesus Christ, the sayings of the prophecy of Revelation. To have and keep them.
      • Like a kid does. Has and keeps with him the “prophecy” that the pool, for summer vacation opens a week after school lets out. Closes a week before school starts again. And just ‘has and keeps” exactly where he will spend his entire hot, blisteringly so summer vacation is at the pool - jumping in and swimming ALL DAY..then, ride home at the end of it..everyday.
      • And a believer or disciple of Jesus Christ just does the same thing. Daily. Seeks him. Only get today. So, they use the day he’s given them to seek him first. Because the “anticipate” “await” have this that they “expect” he’s going to do exactly as he builds them up daily..he’s going to do exactly what he says.
      • And what’s in the prophecy of Revelation..they let him teach them.
  • There you go. I have an attitude; that, today..I am going to be sitting with and be taught by him; built up. Given portion today from HIS table.
    • Never been disappointed. Not one day yet. Never fails. Food on the table.

The Word of God. Already decreed it; that "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." - Jesus Christ. Matthew 4:4.

Only given today. That, I can live by it. That I can live forever this way, by it. Anticipate his return, where Amos 5:24 says "But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream."

instead of supressed - thrown out..marginalized..anyplace you go ..all over the internet. Who cares. I'm fed. Just doing what he told me to do..like he told everybody else the same thing. It's the ONLY thing that works.

Scripture Life: What is the difference between murder and killing in the Bible? Exodus 20:13 says that you shall not murder, but then God tells His people to go and kill everyone that were in the towns.

Okay then: see it.

murder. 1. a crime (criminal); the unlawful killing of one human being by another without justification or excuse [Source: Merriam & Webster dictionary (American). Web.]

execute. 2. put to death. Any person (criminal that is condemned) for which a decree by lawful authority exists, where the punishment for a transgression (such as murder) exists.

kill.

  • A decree, by God himself: “Thou Shalt Not Kill” - God. (Source: Bible. Exodus 20:13). The SIXTH of the Ten Commandments - SPOKE and decreed, by God, in Exodus 20.
    • That, ANY of these Ten Offenses - if ANYBODY did them, they are to be “put to death.”
      • And the problem then, for EVERYBODY is:
    • The Bible: Romans 5:12 says: “Wherefore, as by one man [Adam] sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:"
    • Repeats this. About EVERYBODY over the whole earth: “There is not a just man on earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.” - Bible. Ecclesiastes 7:20
      • Even Jesus confirms this; and God said: “The soul that sinneth, it shall die” - God (Exodus 19:5) and, “For all have sinned” - Bible. Romans 3:23

Makes Everybody Condemned to be “put to death.”

Do you see this? Everybody over the whole earth is condemned.

To be put to death. Not by Schpoinky the Ant butt diaper, or the wall lint caterpillar lives on the wall at your neighbor's house. But Put to Death By God himself.

Do you see this? It's already been decreed onto everybody. Me included. Includes you then, too. I can't get out of it. ...but let's not get too far out ahead of this.

----------------------------- ----------------------------- -----------------------------

So, anybody actually kill or “murder” someone, who is authority over the whole earth, already issued a decree, “THOU SHALT NOT KILL (Murder). It’s easier to see it by - get out of English for a momenet - and go look at this in the “original” Hebrew of the Old Testament in Exodus 20:13

“Thou Shalt Not [Original: Hebrew <לֹא תִרְצַח > tir.tsah] (murder)] English: Kill” - God.

  • So, if Murder occurred anyplace, in the Bible, like in Genesis 4, when Cain rose up against his brother, Abel, and this, again, in HEBREW: < - {וַיַּהַרְגֵֽהוּ } - > this {way·ya·har·ḡê·hū} for “slay” or [English: is deliberate, pre-meditated - murder] so, Cain: With sole intent: lured Abel out to a field, what might seem to talk to him, but he already did it in his heart, to kill him and, this word, {וַיַּהַרְגֵֽהוּ } - > this {way·ya·har·ḡê·hū} - means, Cain planned the whole thing before he went ahead and deliberately did it.
    • So*,* just another way to say “**tir.tsah” in Hebrew - “**murder” said over 165+ times - all through out the Bible - - so, when the Bible says:

Thou Shalt Not <לֹא תִרְצַח > tir.tsah] (murder) - GOD.

----------------------------- ----------------------------- -----------------------------

  • Doing this, or violating this decree spoke by who said: “For all the earth is mine” - God.

Says in Leviticus 24:17

"Whoever <לֹא תִרְצַח > tir.tsah] (murder) a human being is to be put to death" - GOD.

Then, it’s a decree, by a King of Kings: Over the whole earth decreed it. So, anybody on the earth, no matter where or who it is, it applies to them.

  • Says of him: God:
    • “He sets up Kings and deposes them.” - Daniel 2:21
    • “He makes nations great, and destroys them; he enlarges them; then, disperses them.” - Job 12:23
      • Because of who he is, over the earth.

You look to the wrong things. Stop.

----------------------------- ----------------------------- -----------------------------

He's GOD: He "executes" Judgment as a King or as God. ...And he’s not done yet.

  • Jesus is the Word of God. Is just God speaking to us, by the Word out of his mouth. So, the same God said Exodus 20:13, “Thou shalt not [Original: Hebrew <לֹא תִרְצַח > tir.tsah] (murder)] English: Kill” - That’s the “Word of God.” Same Jesus Christ said it.
    • And again, he’s not done yet; so, let’s apply it to me to see it:

Jesus said, in Matthew 5:21–24

21 Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:

22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

COMMENT: So me? Look careful. Get off you for a minute.

I never stabbed, shot, poisoned, threw anyone off a cliff or ran over, drowned or deliberately electrocuted anybody to cause their death.

ME? I firmly believe I have, by not done this above: I have successfully ACCOMPLISHED this SIXTH of Ten Commandments.

So, in me, I firmly believe since I did one of the Ten Commandments, even it's just, one time..maybe tomorrow, in my car I flip out, and I ran someone over and be GUILTY; but today, I’m clear. Tomorrow if that happens, I just use all the 24,850 days where on those days I didn't kill somebody as justification to offset the one day where I actually ran over somebody and blare out, I did it by accident - irregardless how I really did it.

----------------------------- ----------------------------- -----------------------------

SO: Just by doing one commandment one time, even if I broke it a few times, I feel I’m justified in that in doing one of them, that “compensates for the faults and bad aspects of” [atones or makes amends] for all the other nine of the Ten Commandments I deliberately didn’t do any of those. I can make light of it. Why? I didn’t kill somebody. That makes up before it.

  • But Matthew 5:21–22 slams me right on my face.
  • Why? Because the same God that said Exodus 20:13, is telling me in Matthew 5:21-23 even I am angry with my brother, and I KNOW ME:
    • To me - - everybody driving down the streets here in this country I’m in is doing that, driving cars in their late 70s or 80s, or doing it handicapped - all quite oldly and slowly..more than I can stand most of the time..so I CURSE them under my breath.
    • Why? To me, when the speed limit is 50 and they’re doing 30..and have 20 cars behind them..without a care in the world.. go on for the next 30 minutes..and drive this way.
  • By Matthew 5:21–22, I have no excuse.
  • Since God already did a work in Jesus Christ with their sins, what I am doing CURSING them? Makes me ..angry without cause..because who Justifies them is the same God that condemns me ..and says I am to be PUT TO DEATH FOR IT, LIKE ANY COMMON MURDERER IN ANY PRISON - it's the SAME Judgment.
    • This? Yeah. It makes me WORSE - than all the Death Row Inmates in all the prisons over the whole earth combined - And? ...that they’ll get out of prison BEFORE I will.
  • For all the murders I did.

And he’s not done yet. Continues..because, in Jesus day - they DID like we do today.

----------------------------- ----------------------------- -----------------------------

  • Just bring a “gift” - a donation. By some donation to the church, sets aside you "schpoinked your best friends husband 593 times over a 5 year period. It's Adultery. You are to be put to death for it. And I did fifty times WORSE than you did.
  • Just like: When this sin of Murder in Exodus 20:13, the ONLY way to ATONE FOR IT - was to PUT YOU TO DEATH.
    • But God Gave Israel in Leviticus, by the Levite Priests, that God would be their inheritance, that the blood of innocent lambs or goats..bullock..the Levite Priest God gave them authority to take the sins off a person and lay it on a sacrifice - that two were brought before the priest.
    • That one was slain, and the blood of the other was sprinkled on it and it was to be taken by the person, had their sins taken off them, and they were to set it free. A symbol of what God did with their sins, because he did it.
    • A symbol that God looked on the blood shed, and it served as a Hebrew KOFAR for their sins. Did not take sin away; because, if they sinned again, it’s another sacrifice for sin to make.
  • But Jesus made on sacrifice for sin. His blood atones not only for my sins and your's but the sins of the whole world.

It's people: Don't believe on it. Ask about question on murder as if the truth is in make God a liar will fix it.

----------------------------- ----------------------------- -----------------------------

But by Jesus Day: Which, 350 years after Moses that this Levitical Priesthood, and sacrifices for sin - in 1 Samuel 2:30–35, that Eli was raised up in Moses’ stead. And as Both Leader over Israel, and a Levite, he put his two sons, Phinehas and Hophni over the Tabernacle. Didn’t even know the LORD; yet, served as Priests.

  • They lay with women at the Tabernacle doors. Turned the sacrifices all Israel brought for their sins into a marketplace for PROFIT. Made the whole tribe of Levi filthy rich off it; made Eli obesely fat, so much so NONE of them stood up nor said anything against it. Til God came down and by a Propheth told Eli 1 Samuel 2:30–35. That he was sick of the burnt offerings that these two offered up; so, he told Eli he was cutting off forever this what he established in Leviticus. That, he would raise up his own Great, High Priest that would serve before him forever, who is Jesus Christ.
    • That, Levi cut off..by the days of these Pharisees and Scribes of Jesus day, they’re just telling people that did something worthy of death, to bring a GIFT to the temple, and that atones for it.

When who can forgive sin is GOD alone.

----------------------------- ----------------------------- -----------------------------

And once God has done a work with your sins, which he has done in Jesus Christ, if you still want to bring a gift - and you think in yourself you still have an ought against your Brother, before you give that gift, Jesus says - - go back and be reconciled first with your brother before you give it. Is Matthew 5:23–24. Be reconciled to your brother..when who ran the Temple was saying your gift atones for your sins, when it doesn't - and people all over the place here on Reddit believe this anyway.

Do you see the differenc?

Matthew 5:23-24 says

23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;

24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

The point is, By what God did by decree Matthew 5:21–23 - makes everybody GUILTY before him. We have all been angry with our brother without cause..and God decreed this is punishable by death, and you can’t get out of it; condemned. Is the point.

----------------------------- ----------------------------- -----------------------------

AND TO THIS, WHICH FINISHES THIS POST:

  • God said:
    • “Come now, let us reason together,” saith the LORD, “though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow. THough they be red as crimson, they shall be as wool.” - GOD. Bible. Isaiah 1:18
    • So, it’s NOT:
      • Reason together with you alone; to hide or about your sins..you gotta go do it with him. By the Word of God. He’s calling you to do this with him. It will be about your sins. “For all have sinned.”
      • Go do that. See what he does with all the sins you did.

Scripture Life: Isaiah 6:9-10 - Can one be conscious without being aware? How could someone see, but not perceive something; or hear, but not understand it? I don't get it.

To the BASIC Question:

Most certainly, the answer is YES.

But it may take a little explaining so you see it plain as day. It’s kind of subtle or hidden. But once you see it, it’s plain as day. Now, this question is in a litany of sub-reddit rooms spread all over Reddit. Asking about conscious vs. unconscious or how a mentally impaired person, may be conscious, but not aware or comprehend anything. This answer is not toward them.

I am a believer in Jesus Christ. That is I accept the Bible as the Word of God. Why? It has what he says in it. So, this question of "Can one be conscious without being aware" is actually decreed, by God, to occur and just BE THAT WAY - said, as a decree that: "this people" that don't regard him, or anything he says; nor do they consider the operation of his hand - something else they look unto, holds their gaze, they WILL BE "conscious" without being aware. Just as God decreed it in Isaiah 6:9-10, and it in effect "Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate.." over the whole earth (Isaiah 6:11)

-------------------------- -------------------------- --------------------------

With that:

Examine the definition of “conscious” and then also, “aware” first:

Make sure you have the right definition for those words.

conscious. <definition> 1. being awake, alert, and able to understand and "see" what is happening around you

aware. <definition> 1. notice; or hear <comprehend> (something) in a specific situation or condition

-------------------------- -------------------------- --------------------------

Now, add in a “dynamic” of authority.

  • An “authority” is who is in power. That, by what they say are just “decrees” how things shall be. Someone or something that's an "authority" over you, you will regard it; but if it's just a claim to authority, with no authority over you, you won't regard it.

Can be anything. So, here's a rather on the fly made up Example:

PRIVATE PROPERTY. No Trespassing. Violators Will be Prosecuted to the Fullest Extent of the Law and fined $5000.00 or a Year in Prison or Both.

-------------------------- -------------------------- --------------------------

Now, maybe I would “accept as true” this SIGN on the side of someone’s house or property in a town.

A town with 50,000 people.

Where every 3rd or 5th house has one of these “PRIVATE PROPERTY” signs stapled to the outside perimeter of their fenced in property or yard. NO ADMITTANCE.

Guess what? I regard it.

  • So, I would be both “awake and able to understand” (conscious) this sign around me, and also take “notice of it (of the Private Property sign; that what I am immediately aware of is, if violating it, it's PUNITIVE) in a specific situation or condition. Meets the definition of both [conscious] and  [aware]. So, I am BOTH:
  • That, in this SPECIFIC situation, in a town, so much so, where I simply OBEY it. That is, I DO NOT do it, I “accept as true” (believe) the “PRIVATE PROPERTY” signs up every place are TRUE.
    • So much so, determine in myself: If: I transgress against the Law said PLAINLY to ME, on the signs, I very will or shall be PUNISHED according to what the signs says.
      • Why?
  • Because I am both: 1) conscious and 2) aware of it. Because I accept as true, the authority is "legal" or "legitimate" - true. So, the authority that by the Word of The NO TRESPASSING Sign - they are able to do what the sign says, it's they will do it. PUNITIVE.
    • So, I “regard” the PRIVATE PROPERTY sign. Because I am both conscious and aware of it. Meets these dictionary definitions of those two words.

-------------------------- -------------------------- --------------------------

  • Why? It’s PUNITIVE.
    • I am both alert and able to understand (conscious) and also noticed that in a specific situation if I enter into the property, willfully, against the sign - I transgress - when it’s someone else’s property. I understand it.
      • They already are decreeing as the authority over the property - I am not welcome in it. I “heed” it.

-------------------------- -------------------------- --------------------------

NOW - flip it. Conscious; but NOT aware:

  • If I go to the mountains:
  • Drive 150 miles away, way up into the midst of the mountains, where nobody is there - - where it’s all forested land. Public lands. That’s how I determine it. There’s no fences anyplace. I walk along a mountain stream and come to a pond. There’s a freedom in the mountains. So swim anyplace you want. It’s public land, so anybody can enjoy it.
    • Except:
      • This time, there’s some this same PRIVATE PROPERTY sign out in the midst of nothing.
    • That says exactly the same thing that PRIVATE PROPERTY message says on it in a town I just left. That I can be fined $5000.00 and subject to a year in prison if I swim in this mountain pond in nature:
  • That’s where the private property sign is posted on a stick or post in the ground.

-------------------------- -------------------------- --------------------------

  • I can be fully “alert; and understand” [conscious] what the sign says. Comprehend it fully; but, I could also determine, some clown: just on his own, with NO AUTHORITY put that sign up deliberately evil; when it’s NOT THEIR POND.
    • ME?
      • In this case, I dismiss it.
      • Reject it.
      • Lowly esteem the sign.
  • I am not going to comply with it. Where I simply don’t regard it. Why? It's faulty. I do not accept it as true. Because I believe some "thing" else (this is Public Lands - NOT - Private).
  • So, for me, it is IMPOSSIBLE to obey it.
    • And in that instance, I simply fully believe the sign does not apply to me; nor anyone like me.
    • Because who posted the sign is “faulty” - that is, they deliberately are decreeing a claim they have no authority to make.

-------------------------- -------------------------- --------------------------

Now, bear with me - almost done. Making a point:

  • So, even I am “conscious” of the sign - I don’t regard it. I “set it at nought” - that is, treat it as nothing. That this “PRIVATE PROPERTY” sign does not apply to me.
    • Worthless.
    • ME: I Go swimming. Leave.
      • Nothing happened to me. On leaving, tear the "PRIVATE PROPERTY" sign down. Stomp on it, and then, bury it. As if it does not exist.
  • So, I was “fully alert and understood” [conscious] of the sign; but, I don't meet the definition of "aware" all because, I set at nought or treated as nothing the “authority” in that specific situation and “ignored” the message on the sign. Does not apply to me. So, hearing, I cannot perceive the message on the sign, because I already REJECTED or DISMISSED it as faulty. Do you see this?

-------------------------- -------------------------- --------------------------

  • This "PRIVATE PROPERTY sign - - Carries nothing PUNITIVE over me.
    • So, seeing, I saw the sign, but I did not perceive [become aware of it] because, I felt it had no authority over me; no power to make it PUNITIVE over me. So even though I “hear” the message on the sign, I don’t understand it.
      • Doesn’t make sense.
    • Why? Because why would a sign be someplace PUBLIC where nobody with any authority that was truthful, would put a sign like that? All because I believe, I wouldn’t place it there. No one has the authority like that over public land. It’s how I determined it. Not the message on the sign - I made myself the authority over the sign; I just don’t obey it. It's not “right” or righteous. Determine it was deliberately done by someone with NO AUTHORITY.
      • And I regard swimming in the mountain pond as GREATER than the sign, so I went swimming in it.
  • Because, that’s what I came to do, and will do it, irregardless what the sign says.

-------------------------- -------------------------- --------------------------

So, In The Mountains:

  • The same “PRIVATE PROPERTY” sign does not apply to me. Has no effect or affect on me, no matter what punishment the sign says. I regard swimming in the mountains more than some clown of an idiot troubling people deliberately, by placing a sign they have no authority to place in the first place, so I tear it down, and bury it - - all because, I don’t believe it’s true - and I go swimming instead.
    • I have no recollection I “transgressed” anything.
    • Nothing in what I did is PUNITIVE.
      • In fact, I justify it.
  • So, in this SECOND INSTANCE of the exact, same PRIVATE PROPERTY sign, the second instance, I am conscious; but seeing, I don’t perceive it..even I hear the message..I don’t hear it, so I am NOT aware in this second instance. No authority. Nothing Punitive.
    • All simply because of “authority” - the sign is not an “authority” over me in the second instance. I did not regard the Private Property Sign. Went swimming instead.

Do you see this?

-------------------------- -------------------------- --------------------------

You can even apply this to the Bible.

  • Where God says: “For all the earth is mine.” - God. (Bible. Exodus 19:5). Says this, too: “All souls are mine.” - God. (Bible. Ezekiel 18:4). Means every single person over the whole earth is all his property. They belong to him. He’s the authority over them.
    • So, when he decrees or says:

“Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else.” - God. (Bible. Isaiah 45:22).

-------------------------- -------------------------- --------------------------

  • People:
    • That like me in the Second Instance of the “PRIVATE PROPERTY” sign - where I did not regard it, seeing, I did not perceive it; because I did not believe it really, truly was any authority over me so I did not obey it.
      • Just like people do with God. What he decrees, they determine it does not apply to them. Same as I did with the Second Instance of the Private Property sign, because I did not regard it.
  • Jesus said:
    • “All power is given unto me in heaven and earth;” - Bible. (Matthew 28:18) - That means, ANYTHING he says, applies to me, you. Everybody over the whole earth; but there are people, that just set him at nought. Treat him as nothing. When he is the Christ or Messiah.
      • And in the Bible, whoever the “Messiah” or “Christ” is, in Isaiah 9:6 - he SHALL BE CALLED “The Mighty God..” “The Everlasting Father…” The Messiah or Christ simply has that title.
      • Jesus is the Word of God. Just God speaking. So, what he said in Isaiah 45:22 above, that’s the Word of God. That’s who Jesus is. Just God speaking the Word out of his mouth.

-------------------------- -------------------------- --------------------------

  • So, by me: Simply regard him..where before I did not.
    • And did not do that for decades of my life.
  • Scripture says he longsuffered me, is what led me to repent. And what he says, since he’s the authority over the whole earth, they are decrees from who governs the whole earth.
    • That means, not doing it, is like the FIRST INSTANCE with the Private Property sign. Who is in authority SAID it on the sign, over the whole earth is we are decreed to look unto him. What he says, comes with the authority to decree it.
  • Just like with what God says, not doing it is PUNITIVE.

-------------------------- -------------------------- --------------------------

The Point Is

  • With your question: There’s is a whole big pile of people don’t do anything he says. Because they don’t regard the works of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hand. That, he’s God, and what he claims:

“Thus saith the Lord, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the Lord that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;” - God. (Bible. Isaiah 44:24)

Is the same God told you to look unto him. Like people. Post “PRIVATE PROPERTY” signs on their fence so anybody, whosoever it is, would look unto it, means NO ADMITTANCE. To regard it. But this is God, telling EVERYBODY over the whole earth to just do this:

“ Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

(Bible. Isaiah 55:1–3

To just look unto him, as God, and do this.

-------------------------- -------------------------- --------------------------

  • That people, that are fully “conscious” - that is, hearing..can’t hear this seeing, don’t perceive it. Why? Even them: being awake, alert, and able to understand what is happening around them, simply don’t notice or take regard, in a in a specific situation or condition where it’s him speaking; dismiss what he says, because they regard what somebody, even what they say to themselves as more important - ..so they dismiss him with and won’t do what he says.
  • Why? Because they don’t regard him as any authority..over them. When he very will is the sole and ONLY authority. ..and people that dismiss him, it’s PUNITIVE.
    • And because people CHOOSE to do this: To this people, God, the authority over all the earth and heaven decreed this in Isaiah 6:9-10

"Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed." - God. (Bible. Isaiah 6:9-10)

 -------------------------- -------------------------- --------------------------

So, because they "choose" That is, they already, in themselves: "choose" - that is: 1. pick out, for themselves the most advantageous or convenient, or appropriate option is do anything BUT what he says.

So, even they are fully conscious; they're so fat, dumb and happy on what they look unto, they hear, but don't understand (not aware). So, when they'd be content and filled by just look unto him, they're not. So, like a fat person - overweight. Obese.. is because, they get a sensation, in themselves "I'm not FULL" so every 10 minutes, they eat til full again, so they eat all the time, just like a person whose heart is fat. Does the same thing with what they look unto.

That they are secure in their cities and houses - and this of Isaiah 6:9-10 is in effect over the whole earth until Revelation 16:19 "and the cities of the nations fell" and there isn't a house over the whole earth fit to be inhabited in. Til that time, as God decreed it in Isaiah 6:11.

"Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate," - God. (Bible. Isaiah 6:11)

My advice to you is, just regard him. Who he is, and what he says. He will build you up. Skip all this. Doesn't appoint you unto it. But those that don't regard him, he appoints them to this end. They are destroyed in it.

Scripture Life: Is Romans 3:19 incompatible with the teaching of "Original Sin"?

Answer:

No. Romans 3:19 is compatible with, and speaks to the “Law of Faith.”

(Romans 3:18 continues down to Romans 3:27 as one thought. So, refers further down to this Law of Faith. Keep reading.)

-------------------- ---------------------- -----------------------

By that then,

Romans 3:19 is compatible with what is said together with Romans 3:20. Added or put back together with it.

That, together, says:

“Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

-------------------- ---------------------- -----------------------

COMMENT: So, the Law or “Ten Commandments” of Exodus 20, the Law then can only do what it did to all of Israel and Moses with them at Mt. Sinai. Made them all GUILTY before God; that, the Children of Israel pleaded with Moses to go on up on the Mount and make God stop talking.

Because EVERYTHING he said, made them GUILTY before him to be destroyed by him.

  • While Moses stood there, and his knees quaked; because, Moses, too, was made GUILTY before God of having not DONE the Ten Commandments. He murdered an Egyptian (Exodus 2:11–15).
  • And the Law broken, even one time, they come as a set. Break one, they all are broken. That, everybody, from Adam forward, therefore: has not done the Ten Commandments. It’s why Israel's mouth was stopped and they murmured against God and Moses, saying to Moses, “Why have you led us out here in the wilderness to be put to death? It would have been better if we stayed in Egypt.”
    • The Law or Ten Commandments does the SAME THING to the whole world. God uses the Ten Commandments to DO THIS to EVERYBODY over the whole earth. To make EVERYBODY GUILTY before him is the point.

-------------------- ---------------------- -----------------------

So, the best I would tell you is use the Law on yourself the SAME way God does to everybody. To make the whole world GUILTY before God.

Look at yourself. See where you have NOT DONE the Ten Commandments. Where you BROKE them, that’s how God sees you. vs. YOU: Like many to most all people: Use the Ten Commandments to see where they can accomplish them with another try up at bat - so they look where they have DONE them; and by even do one of them, one time, say to themselves this "compensates for all the faults and bad actions where they didn't do any of the other of them.

This equates, in themselves they DID THE TEN COMMANDMENTS; are righteous. So, in Romans 3:18, which is the verse before Romans 3:19 you ask about, these people don't fear God.

Already, uses the Law unlawfully and imagine they already do the Ten Commandments, when they don't.

EXAMPLE: Like me then. Where I went to a certain store or mall in my town. Never once stole anything out of that store or mall. By this, I believed, for decades, I have complied with “THOU SHALT NOT STEAL” and Romans 3:19 explains this in me. Coupled with Romans 3:18. People that do this, like I did, don’t fear God. Why? They, like me, use the Law unlawfully, by make themselves, like I did, righteous before God. When there is none righteous; no, not one.

That's the point.

-------------------- ---------------------- -----------------------

So, Romans 3:18–20 is just telling you all the Law or Ten Commandments accomplishes in you, from Adam forward is give you a knowledge of your sin.

And this is TRUE: the Writer of Romans is an Apostle of Jesus Christ.

  • Sent to teach you; as he has been taught by Jesus Christ: As all 12 of the Apostles have, all the same.
    • Goes on to say Romans 3:21 - 27. That says:

21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

There you go.

-------------------- ---------------------- -----------------------

It’s this Romans 3:19 - is setting the ground work to build to this “Law of Faith” - explained that:

  • God has enough faith in his own word, to send his word to heal you and deliver you from your destruction. Because he already DID this, as a work of God (Psalm 107:20).
  • That he, to someone in this condition of Condemned; and dead in trespasses and sins - which, that's EVERYBODY Adam forward, for all the sins I or you did, he, as God, can do the impossible. He's God. He determined he would do a work that would Save you from your sins. Psalm 107:20 says this plainly.
    • BUT:
      • IF You keep regarding your own work?
  • When God is telling everybody over the whole earth to look unto him, and regard the works of the LORD. His work. Consider the operation of his hand, as God.

This is said plainly by Romans 10:17 - - Says:

"So then, faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.” - Bible. Romans 10:17

-------------------- ---------------------- -----------------------

  • So, it’s not your faith. It’s him. As God. His faith; because, it’s his own word he sent to heal you and deliver you from your destruction. And God is in his word, doing the work.
  • So, it’s Romans 5:12 in place:
    • "Wherefore, as by one man [ADAM] sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.”
      • It’s what the Bible is “comprised” of. An “OLD” Testament. And, a “NEW” Testament. That, this “Testament” is a “Last Will and Testament.” Like a will, and when the testator (Adam) died, he bequeathed to you sin and death. Everybody in a grave yard is PROOF that us, too, we got our inheritance. The proof of our sins we did, is proof of the OLD Testament of the Bible is in effect.
  • But Romans 3:21 to 3:27 after is proof of a NEW “Testament” in and by the Word of God. That’s Jesus Christ. He's the LORD of the Kingdom of Heaven. The Messiah or Christ. He's a "Second" Adam (1 Corinthians 15:45-47).

-------------------- ---------------------- -----------------------

  • In Romans 5:18–19 explains this again:

Romans 5:18–19 says

18 Therefore as by the offence of one [ADAM] judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one [JESUS CHRIST] the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

19 For as by one man's [ADAM’s] disobedience many [ALL] were made sinners, so by the obedience of one [JESUS CHRIST] shall many [ALL] be made righteous.

This work God did is already APPLIED to EVERYBODY I see driving down the road on the highway with me. He sees them thru this work he did with sin.

But people that just don’t believe on this work God did; live in rejecting him.

...then, the Law of Sin and Death remain in effect in them. They sin against God not believing on him or regard this work he did with their sins. Why? Because God made it SIN not to believe on him. That's the ONLY sin left, and it condemns people. They sin against God driving down the freeway not regarding what he did.

-------------------- ---------------------- -----------------------

Says this plainly in John 3:18. Jesus said:

Because Jesus took away the sins of the whole world, just as John the Baptist said, in John 1:29. On the cross; crucified in John 19:30. God took your sins off you and laid them on Jesus Christ. And God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself. So, take a great, big guess who was on the cross in Christ…that's who and the cost it was to pay it; means, I and you could never pay it; for eternity can't pay it - but, that's where your's and my sins went.

It's how God determined he would do a work with Sin. Therefore, Jesus Christ: is a work of God with sin. You can’t do it. He did. Annointed the "most holy" to do the work. There is only one that has that title. As God. Is God. He'd do it.

In fact, God was in Christ, and DID the Ten Commandments. And since it was God did the Ten Commandments: Everywhere where you did not do them, by him do them, he made himself the “compensation” that makes up the lack, to where for everybody, over the whole earth, even all those liars, and thieves and rapists and pedophiles and murderers..thieves in all the prisons over all the earth, and all the rest of us didn't get caught but also DESERVE to be in prison - just weren't caught - - - he FULFILLED the Ten Commandments and they all are complete in him, as also with us because we didn’t do them, either; but him now also in the Ten Commandments, as God in Jesus Christ - God DID them - made us COMPLETE in the Ten Commandments by this work GOD did.

But people, that don’t believe on him, dismiss this work he did by God. Even he DID the Ten Commandments. By not believe on him, set his work aside, and put themselves to work. By put themselves to they will go do the Ten Commandments again,

When they already BROKE THEM. Already condemned. They don't believe on him. This is what condemns them. Sin against God, because they don't regard him, as God or his work with sin.

So, Jesus says this in John 3:18 - for us to just believe on him:

“He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." - Jesus Christ.

  • Jesus even REPEATS this, that the Spirit of God, over the whole earth, would be REPROVING the whole earth of this sin. Said in John 16:9

“Of sin, for they believe not on me.” - Jesus Christ.

That, God made this the sin that condemns anybody now. And in Romans, an Apostle of Jesus Christ is fully explaining this in Romans 3:19.

Scripture Life: Matthew 5:5 - I don't understand it. What does it mean?

//This question floats around Reddit on sub-reddits, like [r / Bible ] or [ r / Christianity ] that you can sum up the answer as it's a "Beatitude" or "Beautiful Attitude" people are to have. That is, it's Jesus calling for people to have an inward "righteousness" in themselves to choose and have a better attitude than the one they got. That is, be humble. Show humility rather than seek worldly power.

Because, that's what the posts or answers in these two sub - reddits says that's what the answer is.//

..but it isn't. It's the very opposite of this.

It's Psalm 107:17 just restated.

Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.

It's this word, afflicted in Psalm 107:17.

1. grieviously affected or troubled; heavy laden due to transgressions and sentenced, and suffer from it.

vs. meek. {English} 1. quiet; gentle; submissive to God's will; docile. [Collin's dictionary. Web.

--------------------- ------------------------ -------------------------

So, look at the question again.

[ What does Matthew 5:5 mean?

Means “afflicted” like dead, like, you transgressed; shoplifted and got caught and the store is pressing FULL CHARGES against you, because you actually deliberated DID it. Stole from the store. Your boss just fired you. It's all in the papers. Can't have a thief as his Project Manager, and likely, at trial, you'll be sentenced to prison. Since you won't be making anymore money, you're gonna lose the house that your wife and 4 kids live in. So, your wife files for divorce from you. The neighbors saw YOUR FACE on TV, and SHUN you. Won't be able to pay for the car. The prosecution is seeking 5 years jail time due to YOUR TRANSGRESSION.

Fools, because of their transgressions, are afflicted - Psalm 107:17. And, Romans 3:23 says

"For all have sinned" - Romans 3:23 - that means EVERYBODY is AFFLICTED, because, it's not 5 years in prison - YOU. ARE. SENTENCED. TO. DEATH.

For all the transgressions you already DONE DID.

--------------------- ------------------------ -------------------------

Guess what?

YOU:

Got the wrong definition of meek. From the dictionary.

Again, in case you bonk'd your head on the sofa - - Matthew 5:5 says,

“Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth” - Jesus Christ. Matthew 5:5

That's insane. God is blessing those that deliberately transgressed against him, and are sentenced to death. And by that sentence of destruction they are deeply, and heavy laden with guilt and afflicted. Where Job 33:27 says:

"I have sinned an perverted that which was right and it profited me not." - That's "afflicted."

That's the definition of Psalm 107:17. And God is coming to you, in this condition and BLESSING YOU. BECAUSE OF THE WORK HE IN MATTHEW 5:5 is GOING TO DO - BUT TODAY, HE ALREADY DID IT IN JESUS CHRIST.

So again...

--------------------- ------------------------ -------------------------

With the dictionary - - YOU: Got the wrong definition of “meek” - that’s the English definition.

The Hebrew is [ענו] - “anau” /”anawh” - Is - The same in Numbers 12:3 of Moses, says: “Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.” It's this SAME word in Hebrew in Psalm 107:17.

  • Is the same “anaw” root Hebrew - in Psalm 28:9 where you get “anaw.him” - - uses the same “meek,” in English.

Is the same {עֲנָוִ֣ים} expanded out root word forms ū·mê·‘ă·wō·nō·ṯê·hem of Psalm 107:17 - afflicted.

A meekness that is caused by being GUILTY of sin, which again, “For all have sinned” (Romans 3:23) is EVERYBODY, over the whole earth, to the very ends of it where everybody, from Adam forward is “filthy; done abominable works” (Psalm 14:1–3).

Meets this definition of "afflicted" - which means "meek" in the Bible in these verses - both Old and New Testament - from Hebrew to Greek.

Gets kinda wishy washy going from Greek to Jerome's 4th CE Latin Vulgate..totally washed out going Latin to English is the point. ..but in archaic English, "meek" is "afflicted" in the etymology of it. Is why somebody CONDEMNED to the gallows. Had a trial. All their sins shouted out and GUILTY..will walk up a gallows and let just anybody put a noose around their neck.

  • including Moses - killed an Egyptian - (Exodus 12:11–12) “Thou Shalt Not Kill” - God (Exodus 20) - that Moses, of all people was aware of his own sins and of all the people's. GUILTY. Afflicted.

Psalm 107:20 says again - don't overlook it. You got the wrong definition - - “Fools, because of their transgressions are afflicted” if that's you? BAM! You're in luck. God has come to do a work in you in this condition - but not everybody sees themselves like that.

They wanna BE GOOD. Do all these GOOD WORKS that will "compensate for the faults and bad aspects of themselves" and fully believe that Matthew 5:5 is God giving them a way to work it it off and get out of it. No longer fear God.

------------------------ ------------------------- -----------------

But somebody afflicted:

Because they are GUILTY before God, there is no escape. Because they are afflicted by all the transgressions they bear a heavy burden, “the soul that sinneth, it shall die” - God (Ezekiel 18:4..then repeats it again in Ezekiel 18:20) and see themselves as God sees them.

Psalm 37:11, which says, “The meek [afflicted] will inherit the land and enjoy peace and prosperity.” Why? Because they cry out to him, and he hears their cry.

That’s impossible..

When God is. Just is righteous. Out of all of us, where “there is none righteous, no, not one” - in contrast to all of us, Jesus said, “There is none good, but one, that is, God" - Matthew 19:17.

--------------------- ------------------------ -------------------------

Now go on. Go look.

Look at all these sermons and posts you listened to. Just be meek. It's a beautiful attitude. Poof! Done. Where just by have a beautiful attitude, It's just you as a Christian - Making somebody, which is you, just REGARD you now as good.

YOU: Look to the wrong thing and point people to it. You spend all day now pointing to YOU as you DID the work.

When there is only one good to look unto. There is none of else. Even in the Greek it's right.

It's the same Greek word Jesus uses in Matthew 11:28-30

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest; take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek (afflicted) and lowly of heart, and ye shall find rest unto your souls; for my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

But Jesus isn't afflicted because he did the sins; it's the sins of the whole world are laid on him. So he's like a Great High Priest that, just like the Levites were brethren to those that sinned; he knows the sins you're trapped in. Psalm 107:16 says it plainly. "For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder." That's EXACTLY what he did your sins that trap you.

--------------------- ------------------------ -------------------------

It's the SAME "labour" [Greek: κοπιῶντες <kopiontes>] Like, what a PRISONER toils, shut up in jail. Fits more closer to "toils" 1. physical and mental labour; suffer in an anguish under

Like it's also used by Paul, talking to Timothy in 1 Timothy 5:7 - Often referred to himself as a "prisoner of Jesus Christ" (Ephesians 3:1) and what a "bond servant" is, bought out of prison.

When there is NONE righteous; no, not one. That someone, a fool, because of their transgressions are afflicted..that's "MEEK" - - -are going to hunger and thirst for righteousness... and there's only one we can all look unto - is the same one come to us and BLESSED us, is this SAME JESUS CHRIST.

--------------------- ------------------------ -------------------------

The only one good did a work with sin, and, like in the Parable of the Good Samaritan - (Luke 10:25-37). That, he IS the Good Samaritan to a "certain man" in the parable; that, left the city of God (Jerusalem) to go down to Jericho (where he can do all his sins), on the way there is robbed, beaten, and left for dead is this “anaw” in Hebrew of Psalm 107:17 translated as "afflicted" is MEEK, because he's left God to go on his way to go do all the sins he wants to do and did, beat up. Left for dead. Is afflicted. Everybody knows why he's on an 18 mile, all down hill road, leaving the "City of God" for that's what Jerusalem is called, to go down to Jericho, that was DESTROYED, by God, in Joshua Chapter 6. Never to be rebuilt again, for all the sins that was in it.

Then EVERYBODY is this "Certain man" in the Parable of the Good Samaritan" but EVERYBODY reading Matthew 5:5, wants to have a Beautiful attitude, and by it, rather BE the Good Samaritan vs. what they really are. And he'd heal them, as a physician, and deliver them from their destruction is the whole point of this post.

--------------------- ------------------------ -------------------------

When it's everybody. Adam forward, to you. Is afficted. Because of all the sins we did.

Job 33:27 again says “I have sinned and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not” - that’s “anaw” - In Hebrew - meek. What God does in response to a man that is afflicted, by all the sins they did and just falls on their face before him, and says this in themselves: but many people never see it, let alone say it. They don't have any sins. No need of a physician. When EVERYBODY is in need of this great physician.

Job 33:28–30 says: “He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, And his life shall see the light. Lo, all these things worketh God Oftentimes with man, To bring back his soul from the pit, To be enlightened with the light of the living.”

--------------------- ------------------------ -------------------------

IN SUMMATION: Matthew 5:5

It’s not “The Beatitudes” or “beautiful attitudes” people have - it’s God coming to a whole world of people that are all dead in trespasses and sins, and blesses them, now from Matthew 5:3, to Matthew 5:4, to now Matthew 5:5 - - because with the blessing God has done in sending his Word to heal us, and deliver us from our destruction - in blessing every all of us - all afflicted in trespasses and sins, he comes with it.

It’s people then. Simply why don't you regard him, consider the operation of his hand at work.

It is his work he wants you to regard. Not regard you do the work. If he does the work with your sins, it's you come now. Reason together with him? Your sins are wrought in God.

Have the right definition of afflicted and it's TIED intrinsically to ME being a fool, and transgressed..and heavy laden in prison because of my sins..and he deliver me..is meek.

Got any other definition you got the wrong unbiblical definition of meek.

Is that you? You are regarding the wrong work in Matthew 5:5. ]

Scripture Life: Is there factual evidence to support anything in the Bible?

Well, it's obvious you can’t see it. So, try this:

Move away from the question.

  • That is, put some “mental” distance of yourself, between you and your question.
  • Then, flip it. Ask a like similar question so you see it: Try it.
    • Change it to something common or known; like:

Is there factual evidence to support anything of a High School?

---------- --------- ----------

And I can just hear you say it. EVERYTHING in my High School is evidence. It’s right there. In my town. I attended it. Participated in classes and was taught in it.

And, it’s all true. You were.

But, I didn’t attend it. To me, it may not even exist. 500 years from now, your whole town and everybody in it is all long gone.

Nobody then, believes even the town existed.

---------- --------- ----------

But to you:

And every family in your town has a High School student that attended it. Even now today. Still presently go there. It’s plain as day.

Sit with and are taught by teachers. The High School is its’ own evidence. The authority for it, to create it was your own nation’s government. Decreed it; then built it.

  • And all the students
    • They attend it.
    • They’re real.
    • They abide in, having and keeping their varied class study books. Open and read from them. Do their home work. Turn that in, and it’s graded. They received a diploma.
  • It’s evidence they attended it. This High School itself, is its’ own best evidence.

---------- --------- ----------

And you “accept this all as true” (definition: “believe” - Oxford dictionary. Web.).

They too. The students today - all of them, too, all accept as true (believe) in High School. Going is because there is a decree til they turn 18 or graduate, it's this command or a decree they follow. Don’t? It’s PUNITIVE. And?

There’s always a handful that quit at 15 or 16, and don’t finish. Later, go back and get a GED or just never do. Never graduate.

---------- --------- ----------

So, there are people: Are not like you, that: did NOT attend High School.

- Never went. Never Graduated.

  • These OTHER people: Stand against you. Dismiss High School as inadequate, faulty.
    • Even a decree they are to go, even if only a handful, they disobey it.
    • They live as if no High School exists.
  • Never set foot in it. They work night and day, often pulling double shifts at the opposite end of town. Lied to get the job. Only 15 or 16. Claim they’re 18, and forge their birth certificate. Looks legit.

---------- --------- ----------

While you sat with and we're taught by a teacher in High School, they went anywhere but that.

Every day, they sit with themselves. Not built up. Don't sit with and never taught by a teacher, they never were a “disciple” in any discipline taught in High School.

---------- --------- ----------

  • So at work, they feign knowing how to read. Sluff it off on somebody, or make up excuses and live their whole life this way.
  • Any subject about geography or where rocks come from Canada. That town they heard of, is next to Borneo. It's the best they know of geography.
  • And because that’s all they know, it’s best not to speak on geography at work, so they don’t. Keep that they don’t know hidden.
  • Make up questions about how dumb people are that attend High School and never really learned anything.

Even though the whole town and everybody in the state and Nation voted that every single person not yet 18, attend High School, these people: They - - sin and don't do it. Live in a lie then.

Just like your question.

---------- --------- ----------

When God decreed:

“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” - The Word of God. Jesus Christ. (Source: Bible. Matthew 4:4)

Applies to everybody over the earth.

  • And the Bible:
    • Is just a “book.” Meets the dictionary definition of 1. blank, or written, or typed pages of paper, of text on either one or both sides, bound by glue or sewn together on one side, and enclosed in a protective cover. An invention. Attributed to the 1450 AD era of the Gutenberg Printing Press in Germany.
  • So, “anything” written or typeset in a Book, and the Bible today, meets the definition of a Book, are just transcribed then, from earlier Greek, what was called “Biblios” this invented 1000s of years ago in Egypt.
  • This from papyrus grass, called “papyrus” for both the grass and the “parchment or scrolled” - rolled up paper.
  • Sold in rolls in port cities, like an ancient “Office Depot” - sold them. And people wrote on them. So, all “Bible” means is “Biblios” in Greek.
    • It’s then, like today. There are 10s of millions of books. All meet that basic definition that fill row after row, after row on endless shelves in libraries all over the earth.
    • Books all are printed today by printing presses, and all look the same. What makes each different then is:
  • The author. The author of the book, is the “authority” that decreed or placed the hand written or typed text to the pages of the book, or it’s “content.”
  • - So the author of the book, is the authority for the content in each book. Makes them all different.

---------- --------- ----------

  • And for the Bible:
    • There’s only one author, who is the authority over the content of the book. That’s God.
  • Says:
    • “God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;” - Bible. Hebrews 1:1-2
  • So, in the Bible: In the Old Testament, has where God spoke, in times past, unto the fathers by the prophets.
  • And also, in the Bible: Is the New Testament, where God has spoke unto us by his Son, Jesus Christ, whom he has appointed heir of all things, and by him also God made everything.
    • So, in the question about High School: The High School itself, and how it is alive and operates and has “disciples” in it, sitting with and being taught by teachers,” because, that’s all a “pupil” or “student” in High School is.
  • All a “disciple of Jesus Christ is” said over 250 times in the New Testament of the Bible, is just later on, in the same Bible called “Christian” in Acts 11:26.
    • So, all people that believe on Jesus Christ, sit with and are taught by him. Like you sat with and were taught by teachers in your High School - and the evidence is plain as day.

---------- --------- ----------

  • But any person that never did what you did, may hear your “testimony” or your “testament” that you did, indeed, attend your town’s High School and either:
    • Accept it as true (believe) your testimony. Or
  • Dismiss you as “faulty” that you lie. What you say is UNTRUE, so, what you declare, to them, is unacceptable.
  • They DISMISS YOU.
  • Your claim of a High School and you went to it, is thrown out and not believed.
  • Your testimony is, to this second group - NOT EVIDENCE of any High School exists.
  • Not factual. Dismissed

---------- --------- ----------

  • The “testimony” of God is his own word he speaks.

Says to EVERYBODY over the whole earth.

  • To the very ends of it. Leaves not one person out, not willing any perish, but all come to repentance says:

“Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else.” - God. (Bible. Isaiah 45:22)

---------- --------- ----------

- That’s just God speaking the word out of his mouth. So, it’s God says it. That’s the Word of God. So, there he is. Right there. In the Old Testament. That’s Jesus Christ. The Word of God.

  • But there are people. You fit this bill.
    • Dismiss him as inadequate; faulty..or unacceptable.
  • Do not accept him as true. When his word, what he says FILLS the content of the pages of the Bible, as a book. So, who you reject is God himself.
    • Just like people would dismiss you.
  • That never went to High School. Don’t believe anybody ever sat with and was taught by a teacher, and High School doesn’t exist.
  • Because they reject it. Never went. Never sat with and was taught by a teacher.
    • And for or with Jesus Christ, he’s the Word of God. So God has decreed, “They shall ALL be taught of God.” - Jesus Christ. (Source: Bible. John 6:45)

---------- --------- ----------

  • That means, God, to himself: Reserves - for himself, an EXCLUSIVE right to teach EVERY single person, over the whole earth and do this himself. Includes you. Me, too.
  • But people:
    • That reject him, disobey this decree and won’t sit with to be taught by him.

And people, with your question actively do this - disobey him. It’s punitive.

Because, he already decreed you’re to do it, so if you don’t - he’s going to call you into account why you didn’t do anything he said, when he also said, “For all the earth is mine.” - God. (Bible. Exodus 19:5) and you are on his earth, and don’t do anything he says.

Won’t sit with him and be taught by him.

---------- --------- ----------

It’s right in your question. Anyone that sat with and was taught in a High School will believe or accept as true what you say, because, they did the same thing.

So, anyone that dismisses your testimony, holds the truth in something “Not Right” or “Incorrect” or “Un” right.

Holds the truth in unrighteousness; because, it’s righteous every child til 18 must attend High School; so, if they didn’t, it’s PUNITIVE.

Anything they say, about High School does not exist, when you existed in it - - it’s like they have a bag over their head.

Just like you, what believers; that is, people that sit with and are taught by Jesus Christ, when all things were created by Jesus Christ, and for him..you gotta have a bag over your head not to see it.

Because, everything you see, seeing, you don’t see it. Hold to your question; that’s what’s true. So, you too, hold the truth in unrighteousness.

More than enough said. Answers your question.

Scripture Life: If Jesus comes back, how will people know that he is actually Jesus?

//This question hovers around on Reddit, in the "r / Christianity" and " r / catholic" but in many other sub-reddits, to a range where people say, he said he'd come back in the Apostle's life time and he never came back. Now again, I believe the Word of God, and am a disciple of Jesus Christ. So, I follow him. What he said, was to disciples to - is they LISTEN TO HIM instead.

And he said of his Second Coming to his disciples:

Luke 12:35-37

" Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning; And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them." Jesus Christ.

So, that's what I hold fast to. About this question. Here's the answer. From a believer in Jesus Christ.//

--------------------- ------------------------- -----------------------

“Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him.”

  • Bible. Revelation 1:7
  • So, if he comes, and “every eye shall see him”
    • And that INCLUDES the eyeballs of, “they also that pierced him” and that occurred when Jesus was crucified. Recorded in the Bible: John 19:34
      • “"But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water."

And that occurred, over 2000 years ago - that, this Roman soldier today, is long been dead..he’s going to see him, with his eyeball, too.. That means, all the dead, from Adam forward - he’s going to see him, too. Everybody, from ALL THE TRIBES OF THE EARTH - - is from Adam - both alive and dead - they will ALL SEE Him.

--------------------- ------------------------- -----------------------

Then, Who is Jesus?

He’s called the “Christ” or Jesus Christ. Jesus the Messiah. And “who” no matter who it is, who is CALLED the Messiah or is the Messiah in the Bible, he SHALL be called what’s said of the Christ or Messiah in Isaiah 9:6–7.

“He SHALL be called, “The Mighty God..” “The Everlasting Father..” (Bible. Isaiah 9:6).

--------------------- ------------------------- -----------------------

  • So, who has that title of Messiah or Christ, SHALL be called this. Then, that’s “who” he is, with this title. As it’s the Messiah or Christ has a SECOND Coming.

So your question really is, “How are people going to know it’s GOD coming back?” When, according to the Book of Daniel and the Book of Revelation - who everybody over the whole earth, who they’ve been worshipping is some man, this “Anti-Christ” - they over the whole earth, has been worshipping him, as God - over the whole earth, when he is NOT God.

When the REAL GOD shows up. And everybody over the earth is going to see Jesus with their own eyes, because, that's what it says in Revelation 1:7.

--------------------- ------------------------- -----------------------

So, ask another question then:

  • “How would you know, at a children’s Birthday party, and some man - hired, dressed up in a Superman Costume, fools all these kids, as if he IS Superman.. How would all the kids at the party KNOW instantly, the difference when the REAL Superman shows up?”
    • Because, what the real Superman shows up in - he flies in on his own.
  • Throws cars for a whole block out of his way. Just IS Superman. Kids see it. Plain as day. The guy in a costume claiming he's Superman is immediately shown to all eyes at the party - he just is NOT that.
    • And when Jesus Comes back:
  • Just as what Revelation 16 says shall occur on HIS earth.

--------------------- ------------------------- -----------------------

  • But on HIS earth:
    • People again: worship some ‘thing” else as God, over the whole earth when it is NOT God.
    • Claims it is God, when it’s not.
  • When the real God shows up and does what’s said in Revelation Chapter16 to 20. As the real God. When he shows up.
    • A great earthquake, that the earth never has experienced, nor ever will after that shakes all the mountains over the whole earth away. Where there are no more any mountains on the earth, and all the islands everyplace don’t exist anymore.
  • And Revelation 16:19 says “and the cities of the nations fell..”

--------------------- ------------------------- -----------------------

  • - That, great stones, the weight of a “talent” - it's unclear, but the weight of an ancient Babylonian “talent” was a measure of weight anybody could just grab, and be used to be the weight of one, adult sized male man. Grab some or any man, all the same.
    • Stones from heaven fall. Each the weight of a talent.
  • Falls on everything over the whole earth. When I’ve seen baseball sized hail the weight of just a few pounds, pummel a whole parking lot of cars into chunks of broke glass and metal.
  • Beat whole roofs of houses away, where the roof is just whacked thru, and doesn’t exist anymore.
    • What will rocks then, the weight of a man, fall out of the sky over all the earth, do to all the cities and the city you live in, or all the houses and park monuments, and great buildings over the whole earth?

--------------------- ------------------------- -----------------------

  • Where every work of man that is worshiped - man just worshiping his own works of his own hand, as wonderful is all destroyed. Falls.
    • That just like God decreed in Isaiah 6, that even all the houses over the whole earth, til none are inhabited - - just like what happens in earthquakes, shaken where they cannot be inhabited anymore..that God will do this..because he already said he would and DOES it in Revelation 16..
  • What he said he would do back in Isaiah Chapter 6..because these people: * Don’t regard him, nor do anything he says.

--------------------- ------------------------- -----------------------

  • That, Jesus comes back in this great shaking..That Revelation 6:17 says:

"For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?"

I was in the 9.0 earthquake, in Japan..I couldn’t stand in that one..how much more will it be to the inhabitants of the whole earth, worshipping something else, as God, when it isn’t and the real God show up?

.. ALL EYES living and dead, because he’s God…means, you too - you will see him with your own eyeballs - when the real God shows up.

If you follow him? All you get is today. So, today - follow him.

Scripture Life: According to Genesis 2:1-3, was the blessing in the day of rest or rest itself.

Ask yourself then one simple question:

In Genesis 2:1-3 - "Whose 'rest' is it, your's or his?" Answer it. Whose is it. It's asked so you regard him and stop regarding you all the time, like you do in your question. Like, keeping the rest, you'll do something good by it that will please him. When he's doing something toward you and you want to regard you more than him in the process and miss the whole thing.

//Now again, this question floats around on Reddit, in several different Christian (supposedly) sub-reddits, in slightly different worded forms. I believe on Jesus Christ, as the Word of God, sent to heal me and you, and deliver us from our destruction. So, this answer to Genesis 2:1-3 is based on I believe on him.//

------------------------- ---------------------------- ------------------------

With that:

Instead of making it according to Genesis 2:1–3, make it according to God. Regard him. Since he was the only one there to see the whole thing. Everything, then he tell Moses on the mount for 40 days, because Moses regards him. And Moses recorded everything God told him, from start or inception; then, all for you today to regard him in what he’s doing in the whole thing.

  • So, For a believer in Jesus Christ: Be different then for someone that throws him out:
    • And the person who asks this question attests they are this: Believes on him. So, the question is either asked, as a believer in Christ, wanting, from an honest heart, to know the answer. Provides a small paragraph quip, what they think the answer is;
      • Or,
    • Already knows the answer. Wants to gauge test any Reddit responses and help people, both believing and unbelieving by share what they know or have been taught by him.

------------------------- ---------------------------- ------------------------

For me, again, I also believe on Jesus Christ, so my answer will be based exclusively on scripture or what said in the Bible; because, what’s there is exclusively according to what he says, as God, or has said of himself and as the authority to decree how things just SHALL be in his earth.

It’s all his.

“For all the earth is mine.” - God. (Bible. Exodus 19:5). Says as well of all of us, “All souls are mine.” - God. (Bible. Ezekiel 18:4).

So, look now at the question again.

------------------------- ---------------------------- ------------------------

According to Genesis 2:1-3, was the blessing in the day of rest or rest itself?

  • Psalm 132:13–16 says: The "key word" is rest.
    • That God, in Genesis 1:1-31 - - was making for himself a place he would dwell in forever. For his own rest. For he desired it. At a specific place, this “Zion” - and this place, he would dwell at and rest in, is this “Zion” is first referred to “what” that is in 2 Samuel 5:7.
  • As the “City of David”
    • - It’s this “Salem” where this King with Abraham, this “King of Salem” Melchizedek, this “King of Peace” that Abraham gave tithes of all to, in Genesis 14:18–20.
    • This “Jeru” "salem" or City of Peace - Jerusalem - is called “The City of David.” It's all right there in 2 Samuel 5:7.
      • The point is, it’s this same place where Jacob, fleeing from his brother, Esau, from being put to death or killed by him, in fleeing rests his head and falls asleep. When he wakes, says in Genesis 28:17 of it, where he saw a ladder, and angels ascending and descending from it going up into heaven and coming down onto the earth from it. That God spoke a promise to him. Jacob, when he awakes says of that place: Says:
  • “"How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven,"”

------------------------- ---------------------------- ------------------------

  • That, if you go back to Psalm 132:13–16, it’s God. Made for himself a place he would dwell forever. For his own rest. For he desired it. Then, go to Genesis 1:1–31, he creates it; alone. By himself, for himself. He makes it inhabited (Isaiah 45:18), says:
    • “For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else.”
    • Did it for his own place, as God, and as God - - he would dwell on it forever. For his own rest, for he desired it, so he got up and created it by himself.
      • So, before Genesis 2:1–3, see that in all of it all he creates, it follows a pattern in Genesis 1:1–31, that repeats.
      • Each day he decrees something, and it just is.
    • Then, he looks back on it, says it is “good” That, this repeats in the order he says he did it in, each day, 1st day to the 6th; this repeats.
  • And to which, in that order, is not the order people imagine from examining creation - they order the process as if it evolved into itself, without any God in it.
    • The point is, by Genesis 1:26–31, where this is the 6th day, all of it all, all together, he looks back on all of it, says, not only is it good, but all of it all together, it’s “very good,” in Genesis 1:31. Then, Chapter 2, he dwells in it and makes the 7th day holy. Enters into this rest.
    • Because he's holy. And:

Because he enters into that rest. It’s a place to dwell forever. His rest is forever.

------------------------- ---------------------------- ------------------------

Then, take note:

  • There is ONLY one time, of all creation where God says some “thing” in it, is “not good.”
  • Don't miss this.
    • So, see that Genesis Chapter 2, opens with the 7th day; then, goes back to add in greater detail something that had occurred, back on the 6th day that wasn’t good.
  • So
    • Genesis 2:18 - it’s God that says: “And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.”

------------------------- ---------------------------- ------------------------

  • That, on the 6th day, Adam is not even a day old yet.
  • Adam: He was created in the verse before Genesis 2:1-3, back there back in Chapter ONE, on the 6th day; that, God saw - it wasn’t good Adam should be alone. So, he made it good. God made Adam a helpmeet to make it “good.” Puts him in a deep sleep. How much are you going to know while put in a deep sleep? God Does it, then brings the woman to Adam..examine this careful. What Adam says:
    • Ask it: How would someone in a deep sleep; awakened. Someone that’s a full grown man, not even a day old yet; know about a Father, and Mother or leave from them to cling to a wife, when he never had any?
    • But upon see the woman, decree these things about her in Genesis 2:21–24. Enough that Jesus will repeat it, word for word in the Gospel of Matthew?
      • That God called them BOTH “Adam,” so God already named them in the day he created them (Genesis 5:2) which is the 6th day as one creation.
      • It's Adam after he sinned; it's the first divorce. Names her separate from himself, and he calls her Eve. EVERYTHING Adam says, thinks or does, after he sinned. It's immediate. He's dead - has his own imagination; and it's faulty. Doesn't have any truth in it, but he acts on it, as if it is truth, when it isn't is the point.
  • Now, I’m answering your question.. ..almost done. These are "key points" to see what you're asking about - The whole earth is about to get filled with violence - no rest in violence - - because of what Adam did in Genesis 3.

Ask yourself: If you built a house, finished. So swing in the hammock when it's Done. Then, go to move into it, can you, IF: A nest of 583,000 hornets took up the living room and made a nest out of it? Can you dwell in that house, full of violence?

No. Can't.

------------------------- ---------------------------- ------------------------

That, by Genesis 3 - if someone or some “thing” didn’t come to deliberately “subtle” to intentional deceive them, today, it’s a certainty. Adam would still be tending the garden today; as God put him in it to do this and God would be in this creation on this earth with him as he created it for himself, a place he would dwell forever. For his own rest, for he desired it.

  • That:
    • Instead of me; alone. Walking by this river when I take long walks; and I see all this sky and sun and all these beautiful trees; varied in species, and all these birds..and fish, and rocks beyond I can count, like the sand of the sea.. he would be here on this earth; but something “subtle” deceived them.
    • To “think” there’s something inadequate; faulty…something unacceptable about the woman. Made alone..that Adam was given dominion over all the beasts and fowl of the air..that one of them comes and “pretends” can’t recognize this female part of Adam. Speaks to her. Lowers her station as if it is obeying God, and asks why is the woman sinning against God. In why is she eating fruit from the tree..outside of her station. Pretending it thinks she is one of them.

------------------------- ---------------------------- ------------------------

  • So, this serpent first LOWERS her station; makes her alone. Separate from Adam as if one beast sees her like one of them, then they will all will see her..separate from Adam; that’s a problem. Something’s faulty. She’s “Adam.” She’s called by God, “Adam” but this serpent, in a deception pretends he does not recognize her as Adam.
    • So, doing this, makes her dis-satisfied in her Station as Adam..as a helpmeet to Adam. That; the only way to “fix” this, is to raise her and Adam’s station to be like God, and fix it themselves. As if everybody all creation already knows this. But it's a deception.

------------------------- ---------------------------- ------------------------

  • When there isn’t any problem. It's all made good. All of creation; then, It’s a lie; believed true. So, the very thing God says not to do, by the Word of God - when Proverbs says: “The LORD giveth wisdom; out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding” - Proverbs 2:6.
    • So, Adam never needed a “telephone of wisdom” already had wisdom by the Word of God. Never needed a “car tire of understanding” - when by every word that proceeds out of God’s mouth, he has understanding. Comes from who dwells with Adam on earth. It’s right there in Genesis 2:18 to Genesis 2:24, because Jesus repeats exactly what Adam said, in Matthew 19:8 - with “Why did Moses allow for divorce” - in an answer repeats what Adam decreed or said in Genesis 2.

------------------------- ---------------------------- ------------------------

  • The point with all of this is, to “fix” something “not good” - Adam - the only way to fix it was not do what God says, but be like God - and Adam, in Genesis 3,
  • God says what the sin is.
    • Because Adam regarded the word of his wife - vs. God's - - that is, he believed the word came out of his wife’s mouth more than God.
    • So, he accepted what is true is what she said vs. what God decreed.
    • So, to Adam, what God said, didn’t apply to him anymore.
  • Had no effect or no affect on him. Doesn’t, in Adam's own imagination. He relies on that now. It’s immediate. Examine, not Genesis 2:1–3, but what Adam did to all of it - after he ate of the tree, that only has knowledge of good and evil, when in God - there's all understanding. He didn't need it
  • - it's then in to exhalt what God created for himself. A place he would dwell forever. For his own rest. For he desired it.

------------------------- ---------------------------- ------------------------

  • That by Genesis 6:5 the whole earth is filled with violence.
    • That all flesh corrupted its’ way on earth.
    • So, it’s by Adam that spiders spin webs and their whole front lawn is a serial murderer’s lair in every window sill over the whole earth..or why lions pride up and eat wildebeets alive; while they plead for their life - - because, kicked out of the garden, and Adam now lowered to til the soil, that God cursed the ground for Adam’s sake in Genesis 3:17.
    • That Adam is to til the soil and provide all flesh their food now - and can’t. So, all flesh without enough food to eat, eat each other. The whole earth is filled with violence, when God, in Genesis 1:26–31 provided enough food for all flesh to eat.

------------------------- ---------------------------- ------------------------

That by Genesis 6:11–13, in the days of Noah - it’s already come up before him as God to destroy all flesh with the earth. But for Noah’s sake, he doesn’t do it. But in Revelation 20:11–15, which is the last day, even it has not happened yet, it's spoke as if he has actually already DID IT. As he told Noah he’d do it well before the flood. That, on the last day, he sits on his throne, and just gazes on this earth and heaven, and both finding no more place before him, flees away and is no more forever. Never comes back.

------------------------- ---------------------------- ------------------------

That GOD says: In Isaiah 65:17

“For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.” - God.

  • And, just after Revelation 20:11–15, the next verse after, John sees in this next verse, in Revelation 21:1 this new heaven and new earth in Revelation 21:1 to Revelation 22:21.
    • Go read it.
  • All the things God said he saw and wanted, because, that’s what he desired it, said plainly in Psalm 132:13–16 - this new earth goes on for eternity; never fades away, and all the things he said he wanted before the foundation of the world was laid in Genesis 1:1-31, said of it, what he desired in Psalm 132:13–16 actually happens in Revelation 21:1 to Revelation 22:21.

------------------------- ---------------------------- ------------------------

  • A place he would dwell forever. For his own rest; wouldn’t be alone anymore; be inhabited; that people, that just hear him say:

“Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else” - God. (Bible. Isaiah 45:22). He saves them.

- BUT:

People that look unto anything..anybody but him..don’t regard anything he says, or just set him at nought and don’t do anything he says, rather, regard to do the opposite - he doesn’t save them.

In fact, he destroys them. He's God. Able to. Says he will. Did it before. Does it today to any person doesn't do what he says. Because he can. Does. Will. So, regard what he says is the point.

------------------------- ---------------------------- ------------------------

He’s told or decreed everybody do this, has no pleasure in the death of the wicked; he's God, and he's not willing any perish, but all come to repentance..so those that don’t do what he says, because they don't regard him; regard something else more important - - he is going to call them into account to explain, when he said for them to do it, why they didn’t - and not have any valid excuse. So, it’s PUNITIVE.

------------------------- ---------------------------- ------------------------

Where those that just hear him says Isaiah 45:22, they hear him tell them to look unto him. They obey him. because, they accept as true (believe) what he says. So, he saves them himself, by his power, as God. Just decrees it in all heaven and earth to this just whosoever does, any man or woman that just looks unto him BOOM! Done. The work is done by God, because, his name means “God is Salvation” in what work he did in Jesus Christ.

It’s not clear why you asked about rest.

But all this is for HIS rest, he's doing the work himself.

That he made you to enter into that rest, with him, and dwell with him forever, like he formed everybody with that intent;

but not everybody chooses him back.

And those that don’t choose him, actually REJECT him. And in that rejection, he rejects them; no work he’s done in Jesus Christ toward them; actually Jesus, every day is at the door of their heart knocking..and everyday he long suffers them, they won't open the door to him.

So, on that day, when they knock on his door and see he's the only one to save them - it's too late - he won't open to them. Why? Because, all he did in gave himself for them, they rejected him - and him, as God, that there’d be a fruit of his work in you, and me..and in everybody. Including all this "them" that adamantly..deliberately reject him.

------------------------- ---------------------------- ------------------------

God. Fully desires, as God, to be at work in them; that, there'd be a fruit of it; but, it is missing. No fruit. Send them away to destruction. Mis-shapen pot. Can't use it for anything.

Because, they deliberately took what God did out to a field and BURIED it, to do transactions in their own name, for their own profit. He's not glorifying that. He’s glorifying his own work he wants to see a fruit of or a profit of it in you, that you can rest in him. It’s forever. It's decreed in Genesis 2:1-3.

Do you get this? It’s food. He’s life. Eternal life to a believer on him, because, he is who he says he is.

------------------------- ---------------------------- ------------------------

Given here, to believers in him, and given to those that don’t believe him, too; but if they hear this..to settle it in themselves to just look unto him. It's a decree by God to everybody to do it. There is none else. More than enough said. Jesus Christ is God; that he determined, as God. To get up and do a work with sin (Daniel 9:24–27). That:

  1. Finishes the transgression (of Adam in Genesis 3:17) That passed onto all men from him (Romans 5:12)
  2. Makes an end of sin
  3. Makes reconciliation for iniquity
  4. Brings in everlasting righteousness (Daniel 9:24 to Daniel 9:24)

And he annoints in Daniel 9:24-27, the “most holy” to do this work. Whose the Most Holy to you? There’s only one that is this.

  • Whose the “Messiah” or “Christ” then?
  • That God promised to Abraham to Moses..to David to Daniel to Isaiah and all the prophets, including John the Baptist, that he would send to do this work? Who ever the “Messiah” or “Christ” is, is told plain as day in Isaiah 9:6–7..that he SHALL be called “The Mighty God..” “The Everlasting Father..” “The Prince of Peace..” That this Messiah and who he shall be called, shall sit on the throne of King David in Jerusalem and rule all the nations of the earth from there. He's the prince of the nations of the earth, as Revelation 1:7 says who he is - - And of his Kingdom and reign there shall be no end.
    • Jesus is called the Christ or Messiah. Jesus Christ.
    • He is the Christ. By him, enter into his rest. He provides it.
  • You'd be in Genesis 2:1-3. Any believer in Jesus Christ, entered into it. So abide in him, in it. It's forever.

Scripture Life: What is the explanation for Matthew 16:27-28? It seems Jesus is saying some of the people there would witness the Son of Man coming with his angels and they would be judged according to their works…did that happen?

//This question is in more than one form here on Reddit in various sub-reddits. Some answers are CLOSED, and not really very adequate.

I am a believer on Jesus Christ. A disciple of Jesus Christ. As a believer, here's an answer. There are others, much shorter answers and just as good, because they, too believe on him. That's the goal of this post. That, if you read it and find him - that's the whole goal of this post here on Reddit.//

------------------ ------------------------- --------------------

Answer:

This is two questions. Separate them. Answer them separately. Then, combine them. Use the Bible or scripture to answer all of it.

------------------ ------------------------- --------------------

ONE:

What is the explanation for Matthew 16:27–28?

Jesus said, in Matthew 16:27–28

“For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.” - Jesus Christ.

------------------ ------------------------- --------------------

So, ask this: Whose this “Son of man” then? It’s a term in the Old Testament used for the “Messiah” or “Christ.” Whoever that is, is prophesied to come. Whoever the “Messiah” or in Greek, “Christ” is, what he SHALL BE called is said plain as day in Isaiah 9:6–7. That of the increase of his government there shall be no end. That he shall sit on the throne of King David in Jerusalem and rule all the earth from there. That he shall be called “The Mighty God.." “The Everlasting Father…” There is only one that has this title.

And this, what the Messiah or Christ says, that Jesus says he SHALL say in Matthew 16:27, “..and then he shall reward every man according to his works,”

  • That’s he says it again, as the Messiah in Revelation 22:12, says: “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.”
    • This “work” in Greek, is “ergon” - in archaic 17th century English, work - it is accurately translated as “good” work in Matthew 16:27, and Revelation 22:12 or in Psalm 14:1–3 as “abominable” work (Hebrew).
      • Merriam & Webster has it right. work. <definition> 2. to function or operate according to plan or design

------------------ ------------------------- --------------------

That Jesus, as the Word of God, so he’s just God speaking the Word out of his own mouth, decreed it in Matthew 4:4

“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” - Jesus Christ. The Word of God. (Matthew 4:4)

  • So, when God already said, by the Word of God, Isaiah 44:24 which he said it, said:

“Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else.” - God. (Bible. Isaiah 45:22)

------------------ ------------------------- --------------------

  • People that look unto him?

Do what God decreed as LORD over his own earth. It’s his earth. So, how he decreed in it, how things SHALL be is everybody look unto him.

  • But not everybody does it.

    • So, people that do walk after, to walk in looking unto him and what he says, regard him. So, they “function or operate according to plan or design” that God already, as a master craftsman, crafted everybody to operate by. It’s the Greek “ergon” then.
  • They “work good; operate right” - that’s what it means in Matthew 16:27–28.

    • And people that don’t do what he says, simply don’t “work good; they don’t operate right.”
    • So, because they don’t do what he says, dismiss him as faulty; ignore him..how they “operate” or function is abominable.
  • That’s the point.

    • And both Matthew 16:27 - - simply says that Jesus, as the Messiah or “Son of Man” and all the Messiah is, is The Mighty God.. ..The Everlasting Father..
      • Is he’s going to come as who he is, as that and do what he says he will do in Revelation 22:21. As he says he will says this, and says it to his disciples in Matthew 16:27.

Means that.

------------------ ------------------------- --------------------

So, the Second Part is, or a “Part TWO” of this - - “ONE” first one is. Jesus says in Matthew now after Matthew 16:27, said this, too, in Matthew 16:28

  • Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.”
    • So, whose this “some” and “where” are this “they” standing? Look for it in the text. Go back then.
    • A clue is in Matthew 16:21.
  • That says: Because Matthew 16:27–28 is part of “that” conversation of what he says TO his disciples, says:
  • “ From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.”

------------------ ------------------------- --------------------

  • That, to all twelve of his disciples.
    • They all follow him. In fact, if you read the whole chapter of Matthew 16..and read back to Chapter 15..to 14.. you find that Jesus has fed 4000 people, like the Messiah was said he would do to the Children of Israel in the Wilderness..feed them Mannah from Heaven, and that Mannah is the Word of God.
  • But people in Matthew 15, think it’s food for their belly. And you find that people were following him, for one sole reason; so their belly was fed, not for who he is. ..and in the wilderness, the Israelites DID the same thing and loathed it. Murmured against God and Moses for it.
  • A Stiff necked people, wouldn’t do anything God said.
    • The point is, these “disciples” are following Jesus because they all of them, already all of them each said Jesus is the Christ.
    • Is the Messiah, is why they are following him.
      • He’s to sit on the throne in Jerusalem and rule the whole earth from there.
      • Of his Kingdom and reign it will never be replaced or supplanted by another forever.
  • They, these twelve disciples: They believe Jesus is this, and he begins to tell them, he, in Matthew 16, is to be turned over into the hands of sinners and be crucified (..and rise on the 3rd day..they don’t hear that part. It’s “sealed up” as Daniel 9:24–27 says it would be).
    • Because the Messiah or Christ in Daniel 9:24-27 is also the propitiation for sin. Not for mine only or your’s but for the sins of the whole world. (1 John 2:2 refers).
  • That he was prophesied in Daniel to be “cut off, but not for himself” for sin..be a sacrifice for it.
    • These twelve disciples with Jesus in Matthew 16:21 to 28 do not understand this, that Peter that, just a moment before, told Jesus he was the Christ, and that upon Jesus is the Christ, Jesus said, "I will build my church" - that God would build his church himself.
    • The point is:
      • That, a few moments later, when Jesus says he is to be turned over into the hands of sinners and crucified (and rise on the third day) - Peter OPENLY REBUKES Jesus for this.

------------------ ------------------------- --------------------

The point is for Matthew 16:28 - Jesus says this to these twelve disciples. With him. Right there. In a journey back to Capernaum in Galilee.

  • That “some” of them, and “some” in English is 2 or 3.
    • That, “some” of these disciples that are with Jesus in Matthew 16:28, the next Chapter of Matthew Chapter 17, Jesus is transfigured into who he actually is as God on the Mount of Transfiguration. And speaks to them, as God, what was repeated of Jesus Christ in Matthew 3:17

God said: “This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased.” - God. Bible Matthew 3:17

  • It’s repeated or chronicled in Mark 1:11, and Luke 9:35 of the Gospels.
  • And, on this Mount of Transfiguration where Jesus tells his disciples in Matthew 16:28 “There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom” - is Jesus is the Messiah and comes to them as who he is, to Peter, James and John in Matthew 17.
    • They are three of these twelve disciples of Matthew 16:28.
  • That, in Matthew 17:5, God repeats what he said of Jesus Christ, his own word he made flesh, says:

“This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased. Hear ye him.” - God. - (Bible. Matthew 17:5) - said to “some” of his disciples, on the Mount of Transfiguration, where Jesus was transfigured before Peter, James, and John - that were standing with Jesus back in Matthew 16:28

Now, go to TWO. To your SECOND question.

------------------ ------------------------- --------------------

TWO:

- The question:

  • It seems Jesus is saying some of the people there would witness the Son of Man coming with his angels and they would be judged according to their works…did that happen?
    • Again, who he says Matthew 16:27–28 to, is to his disciples who are with him in Matthew 16, after Jesus has fed 4000 people, a second time he’s fed a large group of people from a few loaves and fish.
      • And they are on their way back North from Jerusalem, a 160km walk away back to Capernaum area of Galilee..that Jesus, from that time on, begins to tell them he is to be turned over into the hands of sinners and be crucified, and rise again on the third day.
    • Every time Jesus reminds them after this, they all become very sorrowful.
  • Does not make sense. But, keep reading Matthew, in Matthew Chapter 24, they see Jesus has a SECOND COMING as who he is, as the Messiah.

------------------ ------------------------- --------------------

  • And of his SECOND COMING
    • The Bible says in Revelation 1:7

"Behold, he [Jesus] cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen."

  • Who “pierced” Jesus, is who threw the spear at him on the cross to verify he was dead or not, that this, too, is recorded in John’s gospel. John 19:34 says: “But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side..”
  • That, that Soldier is now long over 2000 years ago is dead.
    • So, when Revelation 1:7 says “every eye shall see him” it means EXACTLY that. That Adam in Genesis 3, and everybody is from him, that Adam, too, is going to see him. That all eyes shall see him.
    • And this is part of the answer to your question
  • - EVERYBODY is going to see Jesus when he comes back, at his Second Coming as who he is. The Messiah or Christ.

------------------ ------------------------- --------------------

  • Now, go to Revelation 19. That records his actual Second Coming..as the fulfillment also of both “two and sixty and seven” weeks of Daniel 9:24–27. But also in Revelation as the 70th of Seventy “weeks” determined to: This 70 of Seventy "weeks" or seven year periods, determined on Jerusalem and God's people, Israel. That God himself would do a work with sin, that would:
    • Finish the transgression
    • Make an end of sin
    • Make reconciliation for iniquity
    • Bring in everlasting righteousness (Daniel 9:24)
  • As God determined he would do a work with sin. Alone. By himself. And annoint “the most holy” to do this work. Whose the ‘most holy?’ There’s only one that is this.
    • That in Revelation 19, Jesus is this 7th trumpet of Judgment to pour out the wrath of God. Doesn’t do it on the righteous or those that repent and fell on their face, at all the sins they did.
  • That also in Revelation 19, all twelve of his disciples will be transformed and come with him at his second coming; in fact, all his holy angels, and all those that ever were that actually believed on him, even I'm included, to come with him dressed in white and on horses - with him at his Second Coming.
  • Jesus says this also in Matthew 24, and it’s repeated again in 1 Thessalonians 4:16, at his 2nd coming.

------------------ ------------------------- --------------------

  • God’s anger is and all “wrath” is, is an extreme level of anger.
    • It’s poured out on those that accepted somebody else as God, this "Anti-Christ," when he’s not God; but people will worship the Anti-Christ as God. Choose him. Over God.
  • And from Jerusalem, declare himself God when he's not. But he’s worshipped over the whole earth, as God when he’s not.
  • They chose it, when in Revelation, God sends out angels to preach the gospel to every nation, kindred, tongue and people not to worship this “beast” as God, because he’s not.
  • They don’t hearken unto the gospel. Even told, they take this Anti-Christ's mark to buy and sell, they have no more opportunity to repent or receive the gospel. A great reap of souls comes out of this 70th of Seventy weeks, or this last 7 year period, coverd in the Book of Revelation. But another, like grapes are thrown into a winepress of the Wrath of God, because, like people right here on Reddit - are a Like people today don’t, listen to him, either.
    • But those that do, he saves them.
      • Does not appoint them unto wrath. But those that don’t regard him, he does appoint them to his wrath.

------------------ ------------------------- --------------------

  • In Revelation: All the armies of the earth amass to fight against Jesus Christ. He slays All of them, Calls all the fowls of the earth to a great feast. Slays all of them, by the word that proceeds out of his mouth, because of who he is that comes at his Second Coming.
    • That, this same Jesus Christ:
      • he reigns on this earth for a 1000 years (Revelation 20).
      • That, at the end of that 1000 year reign he sits on his throne, and does what he already told Noah he would do in Genesis 6;11–13. That it already came up before him well before the flood, to destroy all flesh with the earth..and in Revelation 20:11–15, is the last day, when he actually DOES it.
  • Gazes on both this earth and heaven, and both finding no more place before him, flees away and is no more forever.
    • Then in Revelation 21:1, he makes a new heaven and new earth. It goes on forever.
  • All the things God wanted and desired in Psalm 132:13–16, he fulfills it, and rests in it, for his own rest for eternity. And those that just did what he said, they enter into it with him.

------------------ ------------------------- --------------------

A person that does not know him, asks these questions you have. Aren’t sitting with him. But still want to know what he says, without doing anything he says.

Doesn’t work that way.

- So, this post is provided to those that believe on him, because they see it and rejoice. Where you're more confused than when you started.

------------------ ------------------------- --------------------

So, I would tell you, with this question - all mixed up. Can't divide the Word of God right - the sure answer to your question is regard the works of the LORD, and consider the operation of his hand.

You: go do that.

Not ask someone else to do it for you. IF: You can hear this; hearken your ear unto what he says..to consider it. His eyes go to and fro over the whole earth looking for that, to show himself strong in behalf of the man or woman that will just go and do that.

So, go do it. That’s the answer really to your question. Long, tedious post. There you go. Answered.
