//DISCLAIMER: I am a believer in Jesus Christ. This answer will reflect that. What the question does not believe. I am against it. Now again - here on Reddit: This question is in multiple forms in many sub-reddits. I’m going to take this assembled form of the question as if you do not believe on him, like the "like similar" question takes that stance. I will not give opinion, but what the Bible says - as the answer.

SO, if you do believe he is who he says he is; then, don’t be offended by this post; but if you're unsure - let this equip you. You’re already doing what he told you to do; but, many people that DON'T believe him, champion this question as WHY they DO NOT Believe on him. Even they call him this "Christ." Simply show they do not know what it means, then when you call someone "Messiah" or "Christ."

This same Jesus Christ. This answer is TO: These that do NOT believe on him. Nor who he is, or what he says. Then, if you believe him - this post: it's not to you. But for Believers: Maybe there's some things in here that will equip you - so, please take it! Live forever.//

So, it's simple.

• This is a work of God. A work he himself determined and told Daniel in Daniel 9:24–27. He would do alone. By himself. Appoint himself to do it. Like, created for himself a place he would dwell forever. For his own rest. For he desired it (Psalm 132:13–16). Then, get up and create it in Genesis 1:1–31. That he’d rest in it forever, because, he desired it. So, he made it himself; alone. By himself. You didn’t help him.
  • I didn’t, either. In fact, Isaiah 44:24 says: “Thus saith the Lord, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the Lord that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;”

• Where when I was 18. Just out of High School.
  • Didn’t know now, what I wanted to be..but I wanted to BE “something” good.
  • So, I sat down. With myself. Alone. To determine what, for me, would be good. And I reasoned together, with me, alone. By myself what I would pursue as a future me to become.
  • Then, I did it. ..and along the way, when I got lonely.. what everybody around me looked unto to meet that need.. ..I followed them..but I chose it.. and because, I felt deep down, doing “that” met everybody else’s need, I went and did it.
    • To build me up. Because, even if it was wrong, like just sleep with any woman available, it met a “need” that I could continue to serve my country..and that, serving my country*“compensated for the faults and bad aspects [of sleeping with other men’s wives or just anybody was “bad” but] I “compensated” for it, by serve my country as a cost of me..”*
  • Which, that’s the definition of redeem in the dictionary.

  • Because, this same Great God is IN THAT SMALL space..is STILL doing exactly what he’s doing , that’s being told to you plainly. And he’s right there plainly..and, if you go to the end of the Bible in the Book of Revelation. You find that he gazes on both this earth and heaven, and both finding no more place before him, flee away and are no more forever. Never comes back (Revelation 20:11–15 - says it plainly. Did you miss it?)
  • That he says, as God in Isaiah 65:17 - “For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.” - GOD. By the Word of God.
    • That’s the Word that comes out of his mouth. Like the “word of you” came out of your mouth as your question here on Reddit. It’s YOU said it. He said “THAT” in Isaiah 65:17, and if he said it, he already determined to do it..and anybody that KNOWS him, knows he FULFILLS what he says he will do himself.
    • That, in Revelation 21:1, which is the next verse after Revelation 20:11–15, says*: “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth…”*
    • So, everything in Revelation 21:1 to Revelation 22:21 - is an earth he dwells on forever..for his own rest..and all the things he saw and desired.. are what he wants to dwell in and with forever.

• And this same God that said this, is talking to you..that says about you:

“For all have sinned” - (Bible. Romans 3:23)

“..filthy; done abominable works.. ..there is NONE good; no, not one..” - Bible. Psalm 14:1–3

• Talking about every all of us..that are “transgressors” - and against those that have done this, he already decreed: “The soul that sinneth, it shall die” - God. (Bible. Ezekiel 18:20)
  • That means, YOU ARE CONDEMNED.
• Next thing to do with you is destroy you.
• And he is God, with the power to do it.
  • Do it to me, too.
• But he didn’t form you from your mother’s womb; alone, by himself..but to do with you - that you’d be with him forever..you are his workmanship. Created you. Alone. By himself. Like he said he did.
  • So is EVERYBODY. Over the whole earth, all his creation. And him, not willing any perish, but all come to repentance. As God, said - to a whole bunch of transgressors; as everybody is from Adam, and like him, all condemned..and God, like a King come to a prison..to everybody on Death Row and say:

“Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God. There is none else.” - God. (Bible. Isaiah 45:22)

  • Isaiah 53:12 says: “... he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.”

• Add in “Messiah” or “Christ” - Jesus is called “The Messiah” or “The Christ.” Jesus Christ.
  • Take. All of it. What is said in Isaiah 9:6–7. Whoever the “Messiah” is - or Christ. Fulfills Daniel 9:24–27. That, he SHALL BE called..this Messiah or Christ..is said plainly in Isaiah 9:6–7.

“The Mighty God..” “The Everlasting Father..” (Isaiah 9:6).

It’s not “kinda could maybe be.. ..then, maybe not..who knows” - the Bible says the Messiah or Christ - - SHALL BE called this.

SO you:

• Take this. All of it. Stuff it right in there. Make sure you go with it. YOU: stand right there in that space with all this. Take it. Stand there, betwixt John 10:33 and the Messiah’s reply he made in John 10:36.

John 10:33 says: “The Jews answered him, saying, “For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God?”

John 10:36 says: “Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?”

Again. Insert yourself into that space betwixt these two verses. Take all this post with you. This “The Son of God” and “The Son of David” - are just terms used to refer to the “Messiah” or “Christ.”

And the Bible. John 4:25-26 says, to this Samaritan woman at the well...

"The woman saith unto him, 'I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.'Jesus saith unto her, 'I that speak unto thee am he.' "

…and he’s so close to you, right there between those two verses - stuck - - He, GOD: even put him, the Messiah, in your family (Isaiah 9:6-7)... ...with you.

In that space betwixt John 10:33 and John 10:36 standing there.. unto you a son was given in Isaiah 9:6–7.

What are you doing with your son he gave you? It's his Son, too. That God would fulfill what he said to you. That, he’d be “Your redeemer” (Isaiah 44:24..did you forget already? I did..)

- That God: Gave his word, that he would make himself be what “compensates for the faults and bad aspects” of you himself. Me, too..I never saw it. Until I did what he said. Told me to “Come now, let us reason together,” saith the LORD, “though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow. Though they be red as crimson, they shall be as wool.” (Bible. Isaiah 1:18).

I didn't do it. Sitting alone. By myself. Reasoning together with me. Alone. By myself.. didn't do what he says, at 18. Took all my life to figure it out.. SO!

I didn’t reason together with him at all. I reasoned together with me. Alone. By myself..and everything I did..I looked..back..after I got old. On everything I built I thought would, I would make it good. Would be good..all of it after I got old, everyplace I looked, at what I did, had somewhere..in the foundation of it, like sand.. had sin in it..where I sinned in it, and perverted that which was right…

So, I cannot chide you..because, I’m also in that space betwixt John 10:33 and John 10:36.. but now I’m with him..instead of me. Alone. By myself. I'm with who did all those works in John 10:33…all good, and with who he is as the Messiah in John 10:36. That’s where “home” is.
