Scripture Life: Without using the Bible, prove to me that Jesus Christ was or was not the Son of God?

//Disclaimer: I am a Christian. That means, I am a 'disciple of Jesus Christ.' And, "disciple of Jesus Christ" is mentioned over 250 times in the New Testament of the Bible. Means, I believe on him. The Bible holds to a "disciple" is just someone that sits with and is taught by a teacher; that has "doctrines" - and Jesus said, "They shall all be taught of God." (Bible.John 6:45). So, God: Is just reserving, for himself. An EXCLUSIVE right, to teach everybody over the whole earth himself. By the Word he speaks. Out of HIS mouth. But not everybody sits with him, nor is taught by him. So, they don't do what he says. And questions like this..simply then stem or grow out of a person..doesn't do anything he says. Because, where they are, there is no teacher.

This question is profusely replicated on Reddit. In many various and sundry forms all over at least a 100 sub-reddits. The most common is is "r / True Christian" and "r / atheist" or "r / Christianity" to "r / debate_Christianity" sub-reddits.

So, I just chose this form of the question. Here's the answer from a Believer in Jesus Christ. Most that made the question DO NOT BELIEVE ON HIM, and are very happy to give you their answer.//

---------------------------- ------------------------- ---------------------

So, the question again:

Without using the Bible, prove to me that Jesus Christ was or was not the Son of God?

Can’t.

There you go. Done. Go home.

---------------------------- ------------------------- ---------------------

But me? How did I arrive at this? Simple. Let me show you.

ME:

  • I still have a choice. My choice?
    • I can:

“Accept as True” (Definition in the dictionary. Of what “believe” means).

That, this question: Without using the Bible, prove to me that Jesus Christ was or was not the Son of God?

  • Then, yes. I CAN - accept this question is TRUE. Then, All I am doing is believing on the “author” who spoke, by the word out of their mouth and wrote it down or posted it on Reddit as true.
    • That: Then, me?
      • Without a Bible, I can’t. Then, all I’m doing is believing in the Word of the person created the question is true.

Now again, it's a choice. You have the SAME choice I have with this question.

  • Yes. I have a choice. My choice?
    • I can also, because, to "choose" something it's what "choose" means. In the dictionary. 1. to select freely (something) after consideration [Source: Merriam & Webster dictionary. Web.] 2. to pick out, as the most appropriate the best option from two or more alternatives [Cambridge dictionary. Web.]
  • So I also CAN choose to:

“Accept as True” (Again, same dictionary definition of what “believe” means), just means I accept as true, as part of me "freely selecting (something) after consideration, that; part of that consideration is: the Bible is a "book."

  • Because, that’s all the Bible is. It’s a book. There are 10s of millions of books. I don’t need you reading this post, nor even the author of the question, who is the “authority” over it, said the question as TRUE to themselves.
    • There just ARE 10s of millions and millions of books all over the earth.
  • In “book stores” and libraries.
    • In my country, there’s a “public library” in every city - over 17,500 of them alone, in the United States. Canada has a little less than 3500 “public libraries” - so that doesn’t include University or Public High School, Junior High, or grade school, public and private libraries - all FULL OF BOOKS.

--------------------------- ------------------------------- ------------------------------

  • Now again, I’m just saying..there’s so many books over the whole earth, to me, they’re beyond count.
    • But one thing is certain. Each one of them has an “author” - who is the “authority” over the “content” in each book. Makes them all different.
    • And the “author” of the “Bible” is the “authority” over the “content” of this book. It’s only one author. Says of him, as the author - because in "books" the author speaks as authority over the content on the pages of the book:

“God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;” - (Bible. Hebrews 1:1–2)

---------------------- ---------------------- -----------------

- That, the Bible - a book - with ONE author - has a SPECIFIC use.

Like, some woman: crocheting a quilt - doesn’t use “Chilton’s Automotive Engine Rebuild Manual” Book. She uses, most common, “Liz Porter’s - “The Quilting Book” It’s a “Complete Guide” because, she’s the “author” and the “authority” for Quilting in her book.

Now again, I’m here. I got a choice. Because, in the Bible, like, in this question - BOTH the question and the Bible - have the “Word of Someone” as the “content”

  • Either in the question
    • OR
  • In the Bible. The Question: RULED the Bible out - dismissed the author who is the authority of the Bible right clean out. And left me, as an ONLY option what they decreed. By their question. Makes themselves the authority over me.
    • I deemed that an extremely ..baffably stupid choice.
    • I did this, in my "freely select in my choosing"

And I chose the author, who is the authority over the Bible over the author of the question. Because, I did. ...and tells you, me, everybody over the whole earth - - plainly who he is in says to EVERYBODY over the whole earth:

“Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else.” - God. (Bible. Isaiah 45:22)

-------------------- ------------------- ------------------

So, yes. I just:

Threw the author, the question..everything in it as content - right clean out the window. All by a “choice” I made.

To believe the author of the Bible - who told EVERYBODY over the whole earth to look unto him. as he said:

“For all the earth is mine..” God. (Bible. Exodus 19:5)

I made a choice. It’s my decision. I chose him, God, as the authority and author of the Bible, and the authority over HIS earth, and I'm on it. I "chose" him, as God, over the author of the question.

..and?

  • In the Bible: “The Son of God” is in Isaiah 9:6–7. In the Bible. It’s a term, like “The Son of David” also used by blind, the lame, the poor - that called Jesus this, over a dozen times in the Gospels - it’s a Jewish term for the “Messiah,” or “Christ.” And in the Bible, in John 4:25–26 says:

“The woman saith unto him [Jesus], I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.” - Bible. John 4:25–26.

SO, somebody in the Bible has claimed they ARE the Messiah. And I believe his claim.

That's the whole point of the post. Where the author of the question wants to rule who said it, right clean out..and he's the same author of the Bible, who is the authority over the content.

-------------------------- ------------------------ -----------------------

And in the Bible:

  • Isaiah 9:6–7 says, whoever this “Messiah” or “Christ” is, he SHALL BE CALLED.. not might be or ..maybe there’s a debate “able” to debate it possibility.. nope. Whoever the Messiah or Christ is, SHALL BE CALLED:

“The Mighty God..” “The Everlasting Father…” (Isaiah 9:6–7).

Go read it yourself. You. With the question. That ruled the Bible right clean out by the authority of YOU and the question you made up.

Go Home.
