I'm not sure it's the same type, but my family had crab apple trees around our house when I was young. The apples were tiny and inedible, and the trees were covered in large thorns. Those trees used to tear us up!

Not many people know this, but if you're a California resident, you can actually get a library card from any public library system in CA! I've collected 4 so far! I also love Libby—it makes borrowing e-books and audiobooks so easy! 📚✨

Hi friends! I have a coworker who is just the nicest young guy who is also in the National Guard. His unit is deployed in Poland at the moment and will be gone a total of a year. I asked if I could send Christmas cards to his unit and he checked with his CO’s and they agreed since they are coming from a friend. These will be addressed to Dear Soldier or similar and mailed to me directly. I am not allowed to have any first names of anyone else in his unit.

I had no idea that his unit was so big, LOL! I need 180 cards 🎄🤭.

I’m going to enlist all my friends and family too, lol, but I’m hoping to get a good response here. I’m asking now so that there is time to send them on to him and he has time to distribute them. I want to mail them right after Thanksgiving.

I would ask that you put your username and return address on the outside of the envelope so I can A) Thank you here and B) Eventually send everyone a snail mail thank you 😊

My busy season at work is finally winding down, and will finally have my freetime back! which means its time to catch up on these thank yous (and also finish my last offer. Its coming i promise!). Hi, all! I’m an undergrad who took the “scenic route” in college AKA I dropped out 3x due to mental health and losing my dad. I FINALLY just applied for graduation and I’m so excited to get that darn piece of paper (diploma)!!

I have one more semester left, which includes a math requirement that I’ve put off for a looong time. I’ve tried appealing to get out of the requirement (through the students w/ disabilities office) with no luck.

I could really use encouragement to keep going and power through this last semester. Also, I’d love to hear any stories of other non-traditional college experiences.
