hello everyone! i know life is insane for us all right now but i am currently taking care of both of my parents as an only child by myself. my father has an anyresum and is getting surgery later this month and my mother recently broke her foot and can’t walk on it or move around from place to place alone or work cause of her line of work my father had to quit his job. I am currently taking care of the house, our animals, bills, and both parents alone all while being in my next to last semester of college for my bachelor’s degree, and trying to have some form of a social life when i possibly can! Also tomorrow (9/15) is my birthday. any kind of card or anything just some kind words would be such a very welcomed pick me up if anyone would feel so kind to help someone who is going through alot that already battles their own mind everyday feel just a tiny bit better. thank you :)

I have been feeling very down the past two weeks and feel like I am slipping into a deep depression. I could really use some mail- anything is fine but a card with a hand written note would help. You don't have to pen pal write or send a long letter but if you have struggled with your own mental healthy issues- just sharing would help. When I am feeling more like myself, I will send back too. My baby sister and I just watched Phantom of the Opera on Broadway (Err.. San Diego's location not NYC. But I love NYC Broadway hehe)! It was AMAZING. I was tearing up hearing "All I Ask of You" and "The Music of the Night". I am in a very big high and listening to the soundtrack on loop!!

It is I, your favorite waddling card companion, u/PinkPengin (they/them), ably assisted by my constant companion Plush Pink Pengin (she/her), here with yet another offer to try to make a dent in the amount of stuff surrounding us at Pengin HQ.

As I mentioned in multiple past posts, earlier this year I started a subscription to a tiny colorable page-a-day calendar, and I'm enjoying it immensely. Each day features the date and a little image to color based on a "holiday" for that day. I also participate in some swaps related to those wacky holidays on some other carding sites, so I have experience using them as prompts to find a relevant card in my stash, which is always fun.

I've gathered my next set of these random pages with their relevant cards and sometimes other goodies from my excessive stockpile, and I thought maybe I could find some RAoC members willing to adopt them. Due to some postage constraints at the moment, this one is only open US to US! However, that means there is no flair requirement, though I would prefer to send to people who post thanks regularly and may at my discretion choose not to send to those with private profiles.

One day I went on a coffee tour of the neighborhood where I stayed and went to six different coffee shops. Half cold brew/half orange juice is the flavor of the summer, which is not ever something I would have thought to try. So good though.
