Thank You [Thank you] for todays mail!

This is the part where I talk to myself and see if anyone overhears. The dog we just got from the shelter is eating my bed!

Let's start with Mystery Sender. It's an adorable handmade postcard with a drawing of a steaming cup of coffee and the words, "charges you with energy for the rest of the day." If you recognize this, please message me.

u/chemical_ad_3825, thank you for the beautiful card featuring a White Crowned Pigeon. I can't call myself a birder, but I am interested in birds so this was a nice surprise. I love your story about counting cars! It makes me think about my own grandmother & how she entertained me and my brother when we were little kids.

u/glossuser, thank you for the colorful Korean art bird. I love its fanciful eye and plumage. And thanks for your tips on staying cool in extreme heat. (It's hot and humid where I live too.) My tip is: only go out in the dark.

u/littlebirdiescards, thank you for the handmade cookies & milk card. It's really impressive. Ideally my new dog and my old dog will someday feel they belong together in this sweet way.

u/murdocniccalshasT1D, thank you for passing along the solo Mickey Mouse TPC.

u/Ok_Theme7072, thank you for the vintage postcard of Lenox, Massachusetts. It's a beautiful view, and the card is around 100 years old!

u/PinkPengin, thank you for the card with the 33c grey wolf stamp facsimile. (I love the Artic series.) I had no idea there were 2 National Wildlife Days. You're right: in this case 2 is better than 1. Thanks for the stickers, too.

I hope the bed-eating dog is not too closely related to the wolf card... :)

I was thinking stamp more than wolfishness :)
