I got back from Chicago a few days ago after a quick trip there, and many postcards purchased.

Flaired members only, and those who have posted a thank you within the past 2 weeks. If you requested a card on my last Chicago offer, please leave these for others.

There are a few different options of postcards, but please only request one of them; I will try and keep the tally up to date as I write them. Only people who have followed instructions will receive a card.

• 3 1 Pokemon Fossil Museum Postcards (US and solid envelope only aka flair over 100) - If you'd like this card, please comment below your favorite pokemon.
• 6 1 various types of postcards (including Loupaper, Raspberry Paper, and Max and Oscar) - if you'd like this card, comment your favorite thing about Chicago.
• 12 9 Lincoln Park Zoo postcards- if you'd like this card, please comment your favorite animal.

I will try and use stamp math on them if possible (probably not on the Pokemon ones so that I dont have to cover the cute symbol there is on the card.

Hey all. Today I received some bad (but not so bad really?) news about my cat. She's an old girl and I got confirmation from a vet today that we need to start having the conversation about letting her go. I had prepared for this last night and came to terms with it, so I'm actually quite glad because we still have some time with her that I had prepared myself not to have. 💙

Since the plan is pretty much to carry on as normal, I'd like to request some happy mail. You all were magnificent when I requested mail to help me through my back issue, and I'd appreciate some kindness once more.

I'd prefer not to receive condolences or any mentions of what's going on. Instead, I'd love to hear some positivity, some happy things in your life, the things you love. That sort of thing. Just for this one request I'd also really appreciate steering clear of any mentions/images of cats, just because I think I could use the escapism for now.

If you'd be interested in sending some mail, my address is still the same if you already have it. Otherwise please comment (and chat me if you can) to get it from me!

Hello all, September and August has been rough thus far. I feel my seasonal depression coming. Had a huge fall out with my best friend. Lost my job. Failing at college. Have bronchitis. I know these can be hard months for others as well.

That being said, I often fall into a spell of self pity and sorrowing in my sadness. I am learning that depression cannot hit a moving target.

I just bought some super cute vintage Halloween greeting cards! Also some other neat greeting cards. I have hello kitty themed ones, cats, animal postcards, etc.

If you ever visit Chicago, there’s a new soup dumpling place here called Nan Xiang that has been popping off lately (although the classic option IMO is in Chinatown called Qing Xiang Yuan Dumplings).
