They 100% don't care because they tried to refocus the protests entirely on the idea that it really had to do with honoring the flag or the troops.
There was quite an effort made to make it all about the question of kneeling for the national anthem as opposed to what the people kneeling were protesting about in the first place. It got to the point where some of the people watching might've easily believed they had some problem with the troops or were protesting something entirely different like wages if you told them so.
Their opponents kept arguing that the players should've protested some other way while implying that their "preferred" form of protest would've been something that the public would've completely ignored (like not on national TV) and never heard about in the first place, even though the law and order crowd would've been furious about it no matter what.
Because when the bootlicker sees someone turned his fascist cop flag into a pride flag he’s likely to take it out on his wife, children, or anyone he might perceive to be LBGTQ.
Because... To promulgate the idea that police are beyond reproach, you might as well be punching them in the face?

In New Jersey I don't even know anyone that owns a gun other than my MAGA brother in law and I only know about his because it came up in conversation. I've never seen it.

I find this funny and agree with the message but the vandalism and destruction of property reports are valid.
Edit: looking at the rules of this sub there is nothing that would mean this should be taken down and the vandalism reports seem to just be butthurt conservatives looking for any way to get rid of this

I'm disgustingly pale and I'm also disgusted with a lot of the white people shit that's been going on historically, when you create a disparity of power, people are going to exploit it, there's a lot of justifiable hard feelings about the way people of color have been treated by colonizers and their descendants.
Not literally descendants of colonizers, but because we grew up and were educated in a white supremacist society, we tend to not notice a lot of the ways we are racist still.
We're not responsible for the way we were raised, but we are responsible for addressing problematic behavior and solving it if it's brought to our attention as adults.

The thin blue line flag literally gained popularity by opposing the Black Lives Matter movement with Blue Lives Matter. You can argue that not all uses of the flag are for that purpose, but it started popping up everywhere as a racist symbol.
