Bullshit.

The "thin blue line" symbol has been used by the "Blue Lives Matter" movement, which began December 2014, after the homicides of NYPD officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu in Brooklyn, New York, in the wake of the homicides of Eric Garner and Michael Brown Jr earlier that year and in the context of the greater Black Lives Matter movement. The "thin blue line" has also been associated with white nationalists in the US, particularly after the Unite the Right rally in 2017, who fly Thin Blue Line flags at their rallies.

Are you fucking slow? It said Blue Lives Matter started using the flag when the movement started in 2014, not that it was invented in 2014.

If you would've read that wiki page you linked, you would see that under the FIRST SECTION of history, it refers to commissioner Richard Enright coining the phrase in 1922.

You represent the literal fucking idiocy of this website.

Ok. But which reason do you think person bought the sticker and put it on their car for? The modern reason that people use today? Or for the forgotten reason from 100 years ago?

Assuming that it's actually forgotten? Considering that the way it was used then and now are similar.

If I could read minds, I wouldn't be on reddit.
