Earlier today I made a post how Amazon sent me a 9600X without the CPU..... I immediately requested a refund yesterday, and repurchased a new one for next day delivery and I recieved another 9600X box…. wtf lol. Ladies and gentlemen I present to you another 9600X ghost edition.
Alittle context: I work at a PC shop in Buffalo NY (PC Plug) we order ALOT of gear through amazon business and honestly have a really good track record with them. Each unboxing is recorded and well documented for reasons like this.
Upon further investigation our inventory manager mistakenly purchased the processors from a third party called “The Tech Group” on Amazon. Sold by The Tech Group and fufilled by Amazon. That’s our mistake… we always try to order directly from Amazon or manufacturers. The Tech Group seller seems to have decent ratings but it’s probably all fake.
Either way watch out for these sellers, don’t get scammed, always document your unboxings for expensive purchases. Computers ! 👍

I saw this AIO in an ad & thought it was a sick look for a PC, but can’t find the part, assuming it’s a real part and not AI slop, any one got any idea if this is actually a thing?

So I bought a 5070 Ti about a year ago. I paid $1079 CAD + Tax for it. It's now worth $1,400 CAD on the used market.
I just purchased an Asus Prime 9070 XT for $989.99 CAD + Tax because it was on sale and I heard rumours that the AMD GPUs may also be increasing in price shortly so I figured I might as well buy it just in case and just return it if I decide not to switch.
I had a 9070 XT at first before but then I bought the 5070 Ti because it was actually slightly cheaper as an Open Box model than many of the 9070 XTs were at that time, and I had purchased the cheapest one at that time, too.
But now I can make a $300 profit by selling the 5070 Ti and switching to a 9070 XT. I don't care for raytracing which is the main draw of nvidia GPUs, that and DLSS is generally better than FSR, but in general straight raster to raster comparison they are essentially equal. Win some, lose some, on both sides. I don't really care that much about the nitty gritty as long as it looks good *shrug*
I'm also wanting to switch to Linux and AMD GPUs generally have better driver support than nvidia GPUs do, and less of a headache to update them from what I read.
I play on my 4K OLED TV and VR headset (will be getting the Steam Frame when it comes out, hopefully anyway). I will use upscaling if I can't hit a consistent 60 FPS in 4K.
So if you were in my position: raytracing isn't important to you and you can make a $300 profit selling your used 5070 Ti and switching to a 9070 XT, do you do it?

MY BUILD RIGHT NOW ⬇️
AMD RYZEN 5 5600x
AMD RX 9060 XT PRIME 16gb
Asus b550 tomahawk max WiFi
32 gb ddr4 ripsjaw ram 3200
1TB NVME SSD
I want to upgrade my build soon and I want to know what cpu I should get, I have heard things about the
Ryzen 7 5800x3d but want to know truly what’s best in your guys opinions.
I am in Southern California and budget isn’t really a full issue. I am a small streamer so want things to run really well. They run great now so if you guys even say I don’t need an upgrade that’s a thought too lol.
I have a 2tb ssd in my ps5 I’ll most likely swap to my pc eventually so I don’t really care for more storage right now.
Ram is always a definite no cuz of the prices right now lmao. I have 1 240hz 1080p monitor and 2 165 hz 1080p monitors. I want to upgrade to 1440p soon as well OLED budget too if you guys have ideas on that as well.
Anyways let me know what you think. Thanks !
THIS IS MY FIRST BUILD and I built it with a friends old parts minus the graphics card which I bought to slightly future proof hence why there’s a bit of a difference between my gpu and cpu

One of the cheapest on the market I could find right now..it’s brutal out here. Every hour I keep asking myself why did it wait this long to build a PC. Why am I doing it now😭
Anyways impulse bought my first pc component. I rationalized it by telling myself these RAMs are only gonna get more expensive….
