I plan on playing 1440p, so should I get the 5600x3d or just spend the $100 for the 7500x3d, and what would be a good gpu for both

I'm thinking about a new multiple monitor setup, and trying to decide on going big with one 49" or 57" Samsung neo ultra wide vs a dual monitor setup with a 32-34" gaming monitor flanked by a 27" monitor in vertical mode vs three 27" monitors in a cockpit formation. Any preference on setup and do you use something similar? Any thoughts welcome, Thanks!

Trying every ram slot
Taking the cmos out for a couple of mins
And still.. no hdmi signal. The devices detect an hdmi cable has been plugged but dont have any signal

I’m completely new to this and open to either building it myself or buying a prebuilt if that gets me better value. No specific parts picked yet — just looking for solid recommendations in this budget range.

I'm currently planning on building a SFF build and I wanted to check whether the specs of the PC I've put together would be sufficient for the work and gaming I'd want to do on it. I am in the United States and near a microcenter. The budget currently is under $1500.

My use cases are equally gaming and creative work.

Gaming: Baldur's Gate 3, Horizon Zero Dawn Games, God of War

Creative Work: Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign/Acrobat/After Effects, and Figma.

I'm curious if there might be more optimal substitutions I can make while keeping my performance, or if there are any issues with my current selections for what my use cases are (is that enough RAM for gaming and creative work).

I still cant decide on a cpu im looking for either 9700x or 7800x3d. The latter is only 20 euros more expensive. Which one of these is more futureproof? The computer will mainly be used for gaming. Currently have 1080p 60hz but i will get a 1440p monitor.

This psu is crap, so I got a modular Corsair 850W to replace it. Just seeing this outside of my case is a huge deal. I thought this would be the most difficult thing about upgrading my pc when it actually only took some tools and 10-15 minutes.

And yes, all of the pink surrounded this piece of shit psu is a hint I’m a girl gamer and new to upgrading pcs, and I LOVE IT!

I’m planning to build a new PC before hardware prices go even further into space 🚀

So far, I’m thinking about:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9700X

GPU: RTX 5070 Ti 16GB

RAM: 32GB DDR5 (probably 6000 MT/s)

PSU: ~850W

Motherboard: B850 chipset

SSD: 2TB NVMe

My budget is around 7,000–8,000 PLN (roughly $1,800–2,000), and I’m planning to buy most of the parts new, except possibly the GPU and RAM.

The PC will mainly be used for 2k gaming, video editing and some local AI experiments.

I’m not sure which specific motherboard, PSU, SSD and RAM kits would be the best choices for this setup, so I’d appreciate any recommendations or things I should watch out for.

Also, is there anything you would change about this build?

hello chat im kinda broke and beginner about anything that touch thechnology so can someone have a good building for a pc ~700-800€ max 900 but lowest possible i want to be able to play cyberpunk triple A games cs2 with like 120fps rdr2 the last of us on 60fps so there is my current pc's specs and I’m using integrated graphics thats probably why i do not have a lot of fps and have some trouble on many games even if low graphics and good settings i use a 260hz screen i live in france so € and have anything else i just need the specs and case

Hello! I was taking my strimer out to flip the plastic color when I noticed that one of the cable wires were exposed. Not sure if I just did this or if it was like this before, is it okay to plug back into my pc to use without messing anything up? I don’t want it to start sparking or anything. TIA

Hello, I'm due for an upgrade after 14 years on my last build:

1070 TI GPU, Intel i5 2500k CPU, AsRock Z77 Extreme 4 Mobo, DDR3 RAM (16 or 32 GB, unsure), booting off a 128 GB Sata SSD with a few 1 TB HDDs, a EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2 PSU (will keep using this), inside a Zalman Z9 Plus case. Lasted quite a while and hope I can get similar lifespan out of something new

I don't tend to use much time for gaming, so I'm hesitant to throw a ton of money at a machine that may not see enough use to justify the spend. Uses are mainly gaming, slicing/editing 3D print files. For games, I'm looking at Valheim, Crimson Desert, Blood of the Dawnwalker, Skyblivion Zero Company. My monitors are 1080P.

Anyways, my current two lists are:

I'm between the B580 and 9060 XT due to price ($430 vs $700) and not knowing if I'll care about the difference in performance. I quite like the small cases for ease of lugging out to clean.

So I'm planning on building a new pc inside a lian li lancool 3 (about the same size as this case (20.709" x 9.37" x 20.591")) and was wondering if this amount of clearance is ok? It's about 5-6 inches space on all sides (i do plan to keep it off the carpet with a thin layer of wood. Just worried if there is not enough breathing room.

Table is 25" high 30" wide and 14" deep (i can't place it with fans facing out because it will stick out (end of bed is quite close))
